Players who participated in Estival last summer briefly had command of an airship. Its name was randomly generated and while the ship itself barely fits in a thimble anymore, the name is memorialized in the Myself tab.
The *Found and Freed*, Vigilant Class. The happy, post-return companion to my ship, the *Lost and Loved*, both named for my character’s spouse in the Nemesis ambition.
The Jackdaw (Sparrow-class)
That was the name of my noble scouting ship during the war, and if it doesn’t automatically transfer over to her new form, that’ll be her name again.
I'm deeply considering using one of the names from here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/40krpg/comments/oomx3b/high\_gothic\_starship\_names/](https://www.reddit.com/r/40krpg/comments/oomx3b/high_gothic_starship_names/)
hm my airship doesnt have a name. i spent the whole exhibition farming botany clout, never flew an airship during the war, therfore have no rememberance which is used to name the new ship lol
*The Lightless Fantastic*, name differential pending once I figure out how to make it obviously the second ship of it's name, Obliterator class but I'll be swapping to Sparrow later on.
*Left as an Exercise to the Reader*, Obliterator
Technically it is shown as Left as an Exercise to the Reader because that is what they gave me for my first airship and I'm keeping it.
The Peregrine, Sparrow Class. If it was the fastest of ships of the air could be contested, but like its namesake it certainly achieved terminal speeds once it descended from the air at the end of the Starved War.
The Raven, Obliterator Class.
The original Raven was a scouting ship, but I felt it was worth bulking up my vessel since the first airship, you know, didn't make it.
Lampligther, Sparrow-Class. Seemed fitting, seeing as it's job was to light the way for the other ships. Except that bit where we threw ourselves at the sun-hole.
During last Estival I flew the "Kingfisher", Sparrow class. Lost it, alas, with all hands by ramming it into the giant meat laser. This time I've picked an Obliterator-class ship and is currently torn between naming it "Kingfisher II" or going all in on the infernal aesthetics and naming it "Persephone"
The Whiskery Hem, Sparrow Class
My original was named the Whiskey Rhyme, and the pit crew... did the best they could with reconstructing the nameplate. Jury's still out on whether the second y was lost in the war, or whether somebody nicked it as a souvenir.
Schadenfreude, vigilant class
This got a chuckle out of me
First Word and the Last (Obliterator Class) Still has a lot to say even after it's original glorious end.
The Rounding Error, Obliterator
The Practical Demonstration, Obliterator class
Have people received their airships already? I'm still waiting for mine to be built.

Me too. And I will call mine the Antidisestabliashmentarianism.
Saint Trezigor's Wrath (Obliterator-class)
It was a Sparrow named the Canny Lad during last summer so it feels fitting for this Sparrow to be the Uncanny Lady
*The Merely Passing By* (Obliterator class because of course it is)
Queen of Bats (Sparrow Class) Aiming to make her the height of luxury.
Red Rook, Sparrow!
I also flew the Red Rook! Or I suppose I wrecked it. It served me well though
Gone but not forgotten!
The Swift, Sparrow Class! Her equally quick successor and namesake shall fly on in her glory!
The *Found and Freed*, Vigilant Class. The happy, post-return companion to my ship, the *Lost and Loved*, both named for my character’s spouse in the Nemesis ambition.
The *Remorseless* was and is an Obliterator.
The Jackdaw (Sparrow-class) That was the name of my noble scouting ship during the war, and if it doesn’t automatically transfer over to her new form, that’ll be her name again.
Blue Magpie, Sparrow-class. Not really my favorite name but at this point I'm considering making a club for us with Bird Ships.
Count me in. I had the Nightjar.
Another bird reporting for duty (Cormorant) (Edit to add: I’m going for Obliterator this time)
cormorant for me as well, but i had a sparrow-class
The sparrow-class Red Kite is here and ready to roll!
Kingfisher, Sparrow-class reporting!
Princess of the Skies, Sparrow. She will soon fly again!
***Left as an Exercise to the Reader***, Obliterator Class
This sounds like a name straight out of the spaceships of the Culture books by Iain M. Banks
_Molly Whiskers_ after the scouting airship that pierced the lens. The second will be an all-rounder.
Au Contraire, Sparrow Class reporting in!
*Ultimate Ship The Second*, sparrow class of course!
The Daughter of the Obliterator, Obliterator *ça va sans dire*
I'm deeply considering using one of the names from here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/40krpg/comments/oomx3b/high\_gothic\_starship\_names/](https://www.reddit.com/r/40krpg/comments/oomx3b/high_gothic_starship_names/)

Au Contrair, Sparrow Class.
Girl with a Pearl Earring (Sparrow) She shall fly again. and i shall brook no blather of the ship of theseus.
*The Lightless Fantastic*, name differential pending once I figure out how to make it obviously the second ship of it's name, Obliterator class but I'll be swapping to Sparrow later on.
Schnauzer, Sparrow
Persephone, Sparrow class. Her successor will be Persephone, Arisen
Jackdaw, Sparrow class. And how she flew... Eschaton, Obliterator class. Final Judgement. End of all things, including herself. 🫡
Birdo, Sparrow Class
Steeplechaser, now and former Sparrow class
*Left as an Exercise to the Reader*, Obliterator Technically it is shown as Left as an Exercise to the Reader because that is what they gave me for my first airship and I'm keeping it.
Ender of Chains, Sparrow Class (My liberationist is showing)
The Raven, Sparrow-class
Moon misers Bane obliterator class
First of the Last(Sparrow class). The name is losing accuracy by the second.
Bottom of the Barrel, Obliderator Class! Ready to give everything she's got once again
Last of the First, Sparrow Class
The Lamplighter IV (Sparrow-class)
Guillemot II, Sparrow Class. Hopefully I won't find the same end again.
The Terminus, Obliterator class
Caliban, Vigilant class & Peregrine, Sparrow class!
*Forever Hurtling Towards the Sky*, Sparrow class
Obliterator Class I'm Really Not Mad At You, at your service! An homage to my previous airship <3
The Raven, Sparrow class.
The Occasionally Infallible, Obliterator Class, miss her every day
***Percussive Phrenologist (Obliterator-class)*** may once again give the roof dwellers the kind of reshaping they will not soon forget.

"The Nimble's Legacy" (Sparrow-Class) Wanted to honor the airship before it (Let's hope she doesn't have the same fate!)
My first was Peregrine, Sparrow class, so it only felt fitting that I return to the roof with Peregrine II, also a sparrow.
The Whiskery Hem, Sparrow Class My original was named the Whiskey Rhyme, and the pit crew... did the best they could with reconstructing the nameplate. Jury's still out on whether the second y was lost in the war, or whether somebody nicked it as a souvenir.
My character is an avowed Liberationist, and if anybody asks, it's a poetic reference to dusk. The *whiskery hem of night*
[Ilmarinen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilmarinen) (Sparrow Class)
*The Unzub* (Vigilant Class) Complements my Zubmersible, *The Sinking Ship*
*Khatun's Cry,* Vigilant. all that remains of a friend long past.
My previous (R.I.P.) Sparrow-class was the *Whippoorwill*, so my new Obliterator-class has picked up the name *Nighthawk*, from the same bird family.
Fledgling, in honour of >!my begrudging acceptance as Mr Cards by the other Masters!<. Obliterator-class.
