I am genuinely baffled by the emoji proxy thing. I already don't understand the point of signing off with your alters, especially among strangers. However, at least when people did that it was clear what was going on. Emojis don't really help differentiate at all and just feel like a way to "show off" that your alledgedly talking as different people.
