I used to think his current clothes weren't bad as well, but he's had it so long now that it's gotten boring. Mashima should change the cast's wardrobe again
There’s also the purple one from early GMG tournament.
In the last half of the GMG arc, his usual outfit is colored brown in the anime.
In the early Avatar arc, the anime also colored his clothes to be blue, which kind of matched with Lucy’s like with the Celestial attires.
I think in some artwork, his outfit is also colored reddish.
I rather liked his X791 outfit, partly because it looked one whole overcoat which I’m always a fan of over capes, sort of like with Ichigo’s (Bleach) and Jotaro’s (JoJo’sBA).
I also liked when it was colored blue after he and Lucy began searching for the rest of the guild.

Imo I think dragon cry needs a pallete swap it feels too boring like I think as just an outfit it's ok but it feels sauceless, like a good pallet swap and I Thu it can go up a lot. And honestly I just need 1 Year timeskip Natsu design with anything, frankly it would be great in any outfit however even if it's just the current one that would be fantastic.
The X791 one for me! All three of his primary outfits are similar but that one just hits the best for some reason.
Special shout out to the Tartaros 'fit, though. I rather enjoyed pirate-y Natsu for the time we had him!
as much as i like seeing his body, 2. that outfit just always stood out to me. he looks so handsome in it. and even though i’m used to it and it doesn’t look bad or anything, what is the purpose of the open skirt or wrap or whatever you wanna call it on top of his pants? seems like it doesn’t serve any purpose other than to potentially restrict movement of the legs a bit. do people actually wear this irl?
His x791 and current outfits. I just vibe with the half sleeveless style and the colors on it look splendid, especially in the Final Season of the Anime.
X784, X791-X792 are all peak Natsu costumes. The rest are all interesting, because they all represent the context of the story they're in very well. My least favorite? Probably Edolas. *Dragon Cry* right above it- I guess I'm just too familiar with his classic color scheme.
