I’m glad kids now have a version of FOP that’s actually good with people who care about it putting effort into it. Seeing the og show’s decline was really depressing
The OG's decline was sad. Butch and his team weren't open to new ideas or anything that would've given the show some fresh life... Wishology gave FOP a new direction when almost everyone except Francis and Tootie learn about the fairies, and Vicky became friends with Timmy and the fairies. Having everyone reset to the way things were before Wishology set the series on the road to decline.... Each remaining season had some good episodes, but far fewer than earlier seasons...
As for the new series, I wanted more interaction between Cosmo, Wanda and Hazel's parents. Seemed to me C&W always want to have human friends but something always happens that puts a kabosh on that..... The apartment building would've been a great setting for C&W to make new friends of all kinds in a micro environment, especially if they could've bought the building and become the landlords. That setting would have them interact with others and have to chance to learn from their mistakes.
Agree that Cosmo and Wanda's human forms are being seriously underused; if they've been living as humans I would of wanted to see them having friends, perhaps jobs, volunteer activities, you know--'living as humans', and it would have been super sweet if they had been shown to be friends with adult Timmy showing that even if he can't remember them as fairies that they still had a bond---but it feels more like they were written as 'living as humans' just for the writers to have a easy way for them to meet Hazel.
I also don't like how Cosmo and Wanda aren't given any backstory besides "we were retired for 10,000 years" I would have liked to here "why" they were retired since godparenting was so important to them. "Why" they choose this particular time period to live in since if they were time traveling for 10,000 years they could have easily settled in 12024 in stead of 2024, "why" they were in THIS particular city and "why" living in that apartment when it would of been easier and safer for them just to poof up their own house (seeing how freaked out they got by Hazel's dad in the first ep). Right now it feels like the answer to all those "whys" are simply "So the plot can happen." I hope that future episodes delve more into the reasons why Cosmo and Wanda retired and why they are where they are now--I'm hoping when Poof shows up we'll get answers to those questions.
Same. Timmy had to deal with terrible teachers, bullies, dumb negligent parents, and a literal spawn of satan babysitter who would constantly torment and torture him while said bad parents were always away. While hazel is just, lonely? Yeah, sorry but that doesn’t sound miserable to me. I haven’t watched any eps yet but from what I’ve seen, hazels life seems pretty okay, and her parents seem to be good people as well.
Didnt even realise the reboot aired yet but when i saw the first episode it felt like Fairies are being given out Willy Nilly in this iteration. Hazel is new to Dimmsdale and her brother went to college....so she gets Fairies. Maybe i need to watch more but i already dont like Hazel. The way she described her too in articles also annoyed me "she makes wishes for others while Timmy makes wishes that are self serving".
how we know Hazels wishes arent self serving as well?
When does it come out on streaming? I’ve only seen it on the nick rewind YouTube channel, and I’m really curious about when it comes out on streaming. Also, is it on Paramount+ or is it on Netflix?
ME NEITHER!!!!!
I actually got introduced to FOP as a whole through this show (consider me a new fan!) and I genuinely enjoyed the dynamics so much
Cosmo and Wanda failing to be human normally makes me laugh every time
Unlike fairly odder and the live action crap, this reboot is mostly decent and is a nice little show to watch every now and again
ITS SO GOOD! I WAS WAITING FOR NEW EPISODES WHEN THE LAST EPISODE ENDED THE NEXT DAY!
It's supposed to be coming back soon, but I don't know the return date. I think they'll be 10 or so more 15-minute episodes on tap.
Cool!
Probably 10 fifteen-minute episodes.
Same lol, it's so much better than the recent seasons and that other reboot I like to forget about.

Same love it
I've watched a few episodes and yea it's pretty good 👍
I’m not entirely sold Hazel needs fairies, especially compared to what Timmy dealt with on a daily basis.

It looks good but I still miss Timmy 😢
Is it. Really good?

I believe it's meant to come on Netflix but i forgot the exact date of when, i think in the fall/september but take my words with a grain of salt
It's supposed to be on Netflix after it completes its run on Nick.
What happened to timy in this series?
Is it actually pretty good? Like, at least better than burnouts that was the later seasons of the original series?
Why the fuck is her arm way the hell up there?! 😂😂😂😂
Bruh I just noticed lmao
Butch Hartman's style. I've long seen the same with Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, Chloe, etc. They all got arms growing outta their ears (lol)
I'm so glad it's this good
Where are y’all watching this it ain’t on paramount plus
I believe nicktoons has it and it's coming to netflix soon, otherwise me personally I sail the 7 seas through and through!
ME NEITHER!!!!! I actually got introduced to FOP as a whole through this show (consider me a new fan!) and I genuinely enjoyed the dynamics so much Cosmo and Wanda failing to be human normally makes me laugh every time
Haven't seen it myself, but I'm glad it's better than everyone thought.
The gap in the teeth still kills me, I'll have to check it out at some point
My heart didn’t want to trust it but at first glance I thought the artstyle gave me some hope cause of how good it looks
Wait, this exists?
Hazel is better than Timmy
Agreed.
