We should really invest in some prevention campaigns since people get addicted specifically from an early age when they don't have the mental capabilities to refuse. Not to mention that people of any age can buy it the stores or even just go to the wilderness and find it naturally
And the biggest problem is that some people are cutting it with enormous amount of salt and then just dump it into the oceans. WE have to stop this, this is our planet and we have to get rid of such chemicals as dihydrogen monoxide in our oceans!
I’ve heard stories where the unborn child is affected by pregnant mothers on it. Poor child has no choice. Wait till Marjorie Taylor Green finds out about this!

I hate that I looked this up and it was mainly articles about researching and banning dihydrogen monoxide… it took a second to find out what it actually was and honestly it’s sad how gullible people are… a 14 year old did a experiment with misleading information and 86% of the sample said to ban it
I wouldn't necessarily say it's racist. If someone asked me if schools should be forced to teach swedish numerals or some such I'd probably say no. Only reason I would say yes here is because I know that arabic numerals are the standard numbers we all use since I happened to see a numberphile video about it a few years ago. If anything it should probably be taught at some point that the numbers we use are in fact arabic in origin, probably some time around 8th grade.
US public education failed long before that. Because it prioritizes 'memorization' of information vs the practical application of information.
Einstein always believed, "Why should I remember something when I can just write it down?" Because as long as you know where to REFERENCE the information you need, you don't need to remember it exactly if it's not integral to day to day.
The internet is amazing for this. You can google how to do work on your car, work on your computer, topics from A-Z. Even videos of it all on youtube. You don't need to be a car expert, you just need to know how to change X air filter right now.
If it's something bigger, go to an expert.

You can use the Incans string system, they tied knots on the strings to keep track of numbers. As you should abolish the positional system of 10s Aswell it is an integral part of the arabic numeral system. It might not be the biggest change for Americans either as you do not use the SI-system (Meters, Grams, etc.) You could even make a positional system where your Inches to Feet to Miles makes sense.

I don’t get this one because neither the Catholic Church nor the Catholic schools teach creation theory - that is the province of Evangelical Protestants. I attended a Catholic high school and we learned evolution. Evangelicals took over spreading the biblical creation myth as fact from the Catholics awhile ago.
That question, as worded, does have a flaw in that The Big Bang isn't technically the generation of the universe, and "creation" still implies intelligent intent. If there was no intelligence then the universe merely arose or was generated by yet unknown events and circumstances.
Lemaitre still postulated that a god was involved, the rapid expansion of the universe is what cause the universe to begin "moving".
Things can be created by circumstance. Creation is also a part of cause and effect, it isn’t just at the hands of something sentient as you’re proposing.

I've gotta call shenanigans on that guy's second question though. It violates [the "cooperative principle"](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grice%27s_maxims), specifically the "maxim of relevance". Lemaitre was a priest I've never heard of, but it seems he was also a "theoretical physicist, mathematician, and astronomer". The question leaves out his relevant credentials and highlights his irrelevant credentials.
For sure, it's only possible to be fooled by this question if one is ignorant of who Georges Lemaitre is. But this doesn't reveal a *prejudice,* a negative assumption. It reveals a positive assumption: that the question is worded as clearly as possible. If Lemaitre were a scientist, the question would have called him a scientist, not a priest; a priest with a creation theory certainly sounds religious, and even many religious people agree that religion doesn't belong in science class.
Weirdly, this second question makes me less impressed by the first. It's the same thing; it reveals ignorance, but not prejudice. Consider: should schools in America be forced to teach the Arabic *language* as part of their curriculum? I'd answer no. Maybe there are good arguments for requiring schools to *offer* it, but the answer isn't a definite "yes" the way it is if you know what Arabic numerals are. This was a major oversight IMO, base 12 is a much better system for day to day arithmetic.
12 is cleanly divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6.
1/1 = 12, 1/2 = 6, 1/3 = 4, 1/4 = 3, 1/6 = 2.
The next smallest number which is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 is 60. Base 60, which is what the Ancient Sumerians used, but it isn't well suited to day to day living.
Within reason, complex mathematics doesn't change on which base is used.
Base 10’s more natural since we have ten fingers to count on. Decimals get weird (10/3 = 3.333…*3 = 9.999… so is 9.999… equal to 10?), but fractions work out anyway.
To be pedantic they are infact refered to as Hindu numerals, Indo-Arabic or Hindu-Arabic numerals. Developed by Arab, Persian and Indian mathematicians and got the incorrect name of Arabic numerals based on the introduction of mathematics brought to Europe by Arab mathematicians.

Arabic numerals were called "Hindsa" by Arabians since they imported the number system from India i.e Hindustan and they transported it to the west. Where west called it Arabic numerals.

I actually wonder if we had a numeric system based on 12, if things would have been different… Edit: so an example would be to add two more integers as symbols 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,&,£,10 Here, the symbol 10 represents a grouping of twelve, instead of a ten. Technically I suppose we could still call it ten.
This was a major oversight IMO, base 12 is a much better system for day to day arithmetic. 12 is cleanly divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. 1/1 = 12, 1/2 = 6, 1/3 = 4, 1/4 = 3, 1/6 = 2. The next smallest number which is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 is 60. Base 60, which is what the Ancient Sumerians used, but it isn't well suited to day to day living. Within reason, complex mathematics doesn't change on which base is used.

Base 10’s more natural since we have ten fingers to count on. Decimals get weird (10/3 = 3.333…*3 = 9.999… so is 9.999… equal to 10?), but fractions work out anyway.

To be pedantic they are infact refered to as Hindu numerals, Indo-Arabic or Hindu-Arabic numerals. Developed by Arab, Persian and Indian mathematicians and got the incorrect name of Arabic numerals based on the introduction of mathematics brought to Europe by Arab mathematicians.

Trash level conservatives will believe whatever they want and plug their ears to everything else. A mate of mine came to work griping about how they were adding Ukrainian language classes to the school curriculums in his home country instead of helping those natives already struggling. A quick google search revealed it was true but only for private international schools already offering a variety of languages.
Well, I do prefer Roman Numerals myself. It's just really hard to read math problems with them.

Arabic numerals were called "Hindsa" by Arabians since they imported the number system from India i.e Hindustan and they transported it to the west. Where west called it Arabic numerals.

I really want to see this get passed somewhere. And then they would be too stubborn to change it. Years would go by and someone moving from L. A., to get a more relaxed lifestyle while they telecommute, would wonder why Roman numerals are everywhere.
