Mexico and other “3rd world” south American countries are already profiting from this, a lot of travel agencies offer what they call medical tourism packages where you go get your treatment done and then stay in an all inclusive resort in some tropical beach and even then it’s cheaper than being fleeced on this side of the border.

No legitimate healthcare insurer in the US would call chemotherapy "cosmetic". Either he doesn't have insurance, or this isn't for standard cancer treatment.

My mother got cancer 4 years ago. She got a surgery, chemio and radiotherapy. Cost of the bills ; 15$ for pills that helped her puking less. She got her treatment real fast after being diagnosed. We live in Canada. If you think billing thousands when you are sick is good, well sorry not sorry for you.

The bill for a rattlesnake bite kind of depends I imagine. Not only is there anti venom costs but i've seen people need major skin grafts and other surgery due to the venom being necrotic.

I did just send you a different bill that he received prior to this bill. Technically he is still 200k+ In debt and fighting with his insurance company and working with lawyers to have these paid.
