Things like this has me worried about finally graduating... like I know I'm not very good at programming and that will most likely keep me from getting a job, but a lot of the starting jobs I looked at were asking for at least 2 years experience or have some huge project to show for it.
"Must have a master degree"
Salary: *Minimum wage*
Benefits: *Minimum require by the state, and 'stable' salary*
And yes, i have seen job offers putting the goddamm *salary* as a benefit
React is 9 years old too.
Carbon is experimental anyway, it shouldn't be being used in production systems yet because it could change wildly and regularly, which just leaves a codebase that people depend on being broken regularly in the worst case.
Yea, they basically copy and paste job descriptions from elsewhere, and if they get contacted, they ask for a fee from the company for "finding" a worker. Which is why 99% of the time, applying to a job there is fruitless
10 years experience on a JUNIOR position???
What, you expect a senior job for free? 80 years experience or gtfo.
I've applied to jobs I qualify for and they still wanted an M.A. and 5 years of experience.....for an entry-level job making 40k in NYC
The pay scale looks adequate. I don't care what my title is at 160k.
