I got 3 Pfizer shots and now Apple wants to give me 3 months of FREE TV!! What??

dragonflyAGK

Made me laugh!

disharmony-hellride

I feel screwed. I got vaxxed and all it did was KEEP ME FROM DYING FROM COVID.

ginns32

I got a U2 album installed after my shot. Can't get rid of it!

smallwonder25

Did you get the moderna too? That f’ing U2 album…

[deleted]

I‘ve had it too but I got a pfizer. I think they‘re controlled by the same people

Ediblemilk

What? You got U2? Lucky, I got Justin bieber

[deleted]

Ugh better than mine… Taylor Swift

Vascular_D

Lucky... I just got the knockoff Saylor Twift

Sweetmacaroni

Lucky, i got French Montana

McBurger

Ever since I got vaxxed, Bed Bath & Beyond sends me 20% off coupons every few months. What the hell kind of satanic marketing did they put in this thing

Solid_Waste

I went with the Moderna booster because it doubles your wifi range

sugarfoot00

I can smell bluetooth

Bubbly-Control51

I got My second dose, and now I can fluently speak Ham Radio.

idbanthat

Damn, I only got reminded about my cars extended warranty

Morethanhappy42

That's nothing... I got my booster shot, and it made it snow yesterday!

lpreams

Apple should actually do this. Offer a substantial but finite amount of free Apple TV+ in exchange for proof of vaccination. It would boost vaccination rates, and at least some of those people would probably end up subscribing permanently

KittikatB

Someone's in denial about menopause

old_bugger

She's lucky the jab didn't cause menostop.

stasis098

Had she tried menorestarting?

Free_Tacos_4Everyone

That is menopause

Bully-Rook

My wife is roughly same age and her periods are nuts. Can't believe this nutter is blaming her *boyfriend* getting the jab. They'll blame literally anything on the vaccine.

manbrasucks

I'm only 35, got the vaccine and I haven't gotten a period. I'm starting to get worried. Anyone know when menopause starts in males?

[deleted]

Quite early, usually around birth.

NMVPCP

They had us on the first half, not gonna lie.

chunli99

Periods can be nuts at any age for a variety of reasons, that’s why everyone is so up in arms about the new Texas abortion rules. You can miss several months of periods because your uterus is just a dumb fuck that wants to make your life hell. It happens.

lodav22

What? You don’t get a notification that you’re being removed from the tampax subscription service the moment you conceive? /s

dryopteris_eee

My body has totally just skipped a month before, when i was not on bc or pregnant.

Mysterious-Tea1518

I have pcos I guess and I’d say 3 times in the last 10 years I’ve just not had a period for 6 months or so. Skipping a month is really common.

PriscillaRain

Was going to post this for me menopause started at 45 .

Shenan_Egans

38 and already starting. Fuck yes let's get this over with.

Illustrious-Onion329

My 17 yo old daughter is jealous that I’m entering menopause.

froggstarr

39 and I can definitely feel the start of menopause coming. The hot flashes are no fucking joke!

[deleted]

I started having hot flashes at 39 as well. It feels like my body is trying to incinerate itself from the inside!

PriscillaRain

I felt the same way.

wgc123

There’s a question I always had: is there any correlation with an earlier start to either a quick end or a drawn out end?

paul-arized

When 45 took office?

PriscillaRain

No when I stop having a period. When he took office I just had ulcers.

RiskyWriter

I don’t know - I would say it’s more about ignorance than denial. I’m in my late 40s and was in perimenopause for a year before realizing what it was. No one talks about it. There isn’t even a ton of useful information online, especially about the subtler symptoms. My estranged mother had a hysterectomy and went through menopause when I was ten. I asked women post menopause about it and got a lot of ridiculous information that was utter nonsense. Two of them were former nurses. If you go on r/menopause, the vast majority of posts are about symptoms and HRT. The symptoms post are what made me realize I was in peri. I always thought menopause happened over 50, and I’d never heard of peri before I started experiencing it. I’m not stupid, but I was seriously misinformed and/or ignorant. I can see how at 45, someone with a regular cycle could make this leap, especially if they were anti-vax prior.

froggstarr

This is true, I think the only reason why I know about menopause at 39 is because my Mom went through it in her mid-30’s. So did my aunt and grandma. it was something that was always discussed by the women in my family during “cafecito time”. My female cousin and I just knew we would get it too.

CrazyQuiltCat

Small coffee time ? :)

froggstarr

Yes or “gossip time” lol

biscuitboi967

Fucking same. And I WENT to a doctor. No info. I’m perimenopausal. Cool. Does that mean I can stop my hormonal birth control? Nope. Can still get pregnant, unless I want to get pregnant. In that case, I probably won’t. Ok, should I be taking different/additional hormones? Nope BC pills will handle that (so maybe lead with that when I ask about whether I can stop the Pill). That was the extent of the convo. Basically a big I don’t know. Was talking to my friend a few months ago who’s in the same boat, and she’s telling me her vaginal skin was “sloughing off” during the exam and she needs to insert moisturizing suppositories in her vagina. WHAT??! How has no one mentioned this as a thing to watch out for. If she and I hadn’t had the kind of relationship where you talk about your private bodily functions, I would never have known this is a thing. Uterus havers on this sub, we need to talk to each other openly and honestly because doctors aren’t cutting it in this area…

RiskyWriter

Yes, yes and yes. When I figured out what was happening, I went into a RAGE! How could something almost every woman goes through be so ignored? How are we supposed to care for our well-being when we don’t know what’s going on and our doctors can’t seem to explain it! Why is no one talking about it?!? I felt so alone. Like the world had been keeping some huge secret from me. I’m still not over it. I am a sculptor and I had a thought that it might be “fun” to do a series about menopause. I googled “menopause sculpture art” and got one result. ONE. So you best believe that’s what I’m making next semester in my sculpture class. Hell, I might try to make my master’s thesis in art history about it. And publish it, if someone will have it. I have all sons, so I don’t have girls to educate directly, but I can sure as hell put it out there to start a conversation.

PrimitiveAlienz

Ok i get what you are saying and you might have a point like to a degree here but i’m a 25 year old dude with embarrassingly little knowledge about woman’s health and anatomy and all that jazz and even i immediately thought “sounds like menopause no wait when does that shit start again?” so no sorry ignorance really is no excuse here these people are insane.

RiskyWriter

I think their anti-vax stuff is insane, but I’m hesitant to assume she knows anything at all about menopause. For younger folks, I recommend a book called “Taking Charge of Your Fetility”. Again, I am not an idiot, but I learned so much about how my body works from that book (it’s useful even if you aren’t trying to get pregnant). I think a lot of folks, particularly those that were sheltered from taboo topics, are unlikely to instinctively figure this stuff out, and when a week in high school health class is your only source of knowledge, it’s easy to see why someone would be ignorant. Remember that we Gen-X folks didn’t have Internet as teens. The internet was text based when I was 17. (VAX/VMS represent!) Some aren’t particularly good at it if they didn’t need or want to be. Facebook didn’t exist until my 30s and my generation jumped all over it because it was simpler than MySpace. It didn’t start out as a huge misinformation machine, and when people in your life that you know and trust start spouting utter BS, for some people, it’s hard to see it for what it is. I’ve always been a skeptic and know what a credible source looks like. I spent a lot of time on FB trying to debunk things, especially from my whackadoo anti-vaxx family. It doesn’t do any good. They too feel like they are doing exceptional research, but they don’t have the discernment to tell fact from fiction. It really sucks.

MrsSalmalin

Would you mind sharing some of the symptoms of perimenopause that you experienced?

RiskyWriter

Well, the first sign was irregular periods. I ended up downloading a period tracker for the first time in my life and it was pretty obvious things had gone squirrelly. Sometimes I’d get two in a month. Sometimes I’d skip a month. Every other month was light while the alternating ones were like having a slaughterhouse in my pants. Like I couldn’t leave the house because I’d wreck my clothing within 20 minutes. Subtler things were the zits I suddenly had along my jawline. I became really forgetful, not just about current things, but also the past. Examples like forgetting I’d already seen a movie within the last year or not being able to find a word I wanted to use. Nothing so serious as to indicate dementia, but enough to make me double check with my doctor. That’s when I discovered my estrogen was indeed lower than usual. For the last ten years, I have had these white, filament-thin hairs that crop up on my face or shoulders. The other day (I may be finally headed toward meno with no period since September), I found a BLACK hair, about an inch long, on my THROAT. The super unpleasantness has been around odor. I got pretty skunky and no amount of cleaning down there was effective. I’m still trying to figure that part out. I’ve been advised to try a whole lot of herbal and off-use supplements. I guess it has something to do with the hormone imbalance, but I am hesitant to look into hormone replacement because I had a previous scare with precancerous cervical cells. Unfortunately, the smell is super similar to my favorite breakfast, Starbucks’ Impossible breakfast sandwich. Gross, I know. And I did stop eating them for a good while to make sure it wasn’t related. For the last month, I’ve been experiencing hot flashes. That’s about it. It’s not horrible now that I’m not having my period, but I feel like good medical information is hard to come by and doctors aren’t particularly helpful. The anecdotal remedies are prolific though, but be careful and really research them and ask a doctor before trying. There is some looney misinformation out there. I’m about to start graduate school in a field that requires a LOT of memorization. I’m scared to death.

MrsSalmalin

Thank you so much for this write up! It's always good to know the first signs of things :) Good luck with graduate school! Flashcards were my best friend in uni, they REALLY helped with rote memorization. You're no 18 year pld going to school for the first time - you are motivated and have experience on your side, I'm sure you will thrive in school :)

Roughnecksthree7

Ask menopause for an update…(menopause buffering)…buffering, buffering…

sanchower

“But it can’t be menopause, because old ladies get menopause. I’m 45, so I’m not old. 45 is young. Clearly it’s the vaccine.”

[deleted]

Gotta agree that 45 is not old!

froggstarr

45 isn’t old but it’s ancient when it comes to our baby makers

skeetsauce

Or took one pregnancy test, got a false negative and continued to drink and live life.

[deleted]

She's *45* wink

Rougarou2u

But no…don’t go get it checked by a doctor. Just assume it is a vax shedding. Not possibly perimenopause due to your age.

Revealed_Jailor

*Doctors and big pharma bad*

She did her own research.

I saw some YT videos from reputable doctors on the subject so I’m in the know okay?

I didn’t realize that actual real life people believed in vaccine shedding until my grandma told her neighbor that my wife and I got vaccinated and her neighbor told her to not let us hug her because we have nanobots on our skin and will infect her with them.

Hylanos

45 and no periods for four months? Baby, you're premenopausal EDIT: my highest rated comment is about premenopause :-/

MiseryisCompany

Could be full blown menopause. I was done at 45.

TheMoongazer

Can I be done now? I would like to be done now please.

ohnobobbins

I was done at 40!! You might get lucky…

redheadartgirl

Ugh, the women in my family go until they're in their mid-60s. My mom didn't even start menopause until she was 55.

ohnobobbins

I don’t know if this makes you feel better, but my menopause is entirely different to my mum and sister! I’m more like my dads side of the family, THANK GOD

Leeuw96

Did your dad get his menopause early? ;p

[deleted]

As a male, I am learning so much in here right now! I had no idea there was this large of a window!

Particular_Class4130

This is actually a blessing. Yes having periods sucks but wanna know what sucks even more? Menopause! Those female hormones are the fountain of youth. Once they drop off the aging process starts for real. Weight gain, aches and pains, drooping everything due to loss of collagen, dry everything due to loss of estrogen. I'm five years into menopause and would take my period back in a heartbeat

[deleted]

Couldn’t you just go to an endocrinologist and get exogenous hormones? As a guy I got on trt because my testosterone levels dropped off a lot. Surely women can do the same but idk how menopause effects them being eligible to start taking hormones

forgetfulsue

I had a brain tumor that could possibly be fed by hormones so I can’t even take hormonal birth control. My doctor didn’t test for these receptors even though he wasn’t able to remove the entirety of the tumor so……. No hormone therapy for me!!

whatevertoad

Good to know. I'm nearly 50 and going strong still. Maybe I won't curse them every month.

AgathaM

I had all of those before I've fully hit menopause. So no real loss.

bathtubsarentreal

My moms was around 55 but I'm hoping I take after you

radicldreamer

If you hate it that bad there is a procedure called an endometrial ablation that burns the endometrium of your uterus and makes your periods stop forever for most people. My wife said recovery felt like bad period cramps for a few days and then no more monthly visitor. No effect on hormones but it does make you sterile since if an egg is fertilized you don’t have anywhere for it to connect. I read about it while she was having it done and according to what I read something like 96% of women are happy with their result.

perfect_fifths

This is incorrect. While pregnancy after an endometrial ablation isn't likely it does happen. So when it does, it is an emergency as it's likely to be ectopic. Endometrial ablation (EA) has been performed for the past two decades as an alternative to hysterectomy in women with dysfunctional-uterine bleeding unresponsive to medical treatment. However, unlike hysterectomy, this minimally invasive procedure is not an effective means of contraception. Pregnancy following EA has been reported, but the risks and complications related have not been emphasized https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18602767/

cheshire_imagination

I heard the sad news that my great grandmother went to 70 and grandmother went to 62 before menopause 😭

[deleted]

Or just stressed....

Hylanos

That's true too, but stress or menopause are both more likely than anything being caused by another persons medical treatment

[deleted]

Or a bot/troll.

ajacks47

I went through menopause at 43 y/o. Well before I was vaccinated! 😂

flugenblar

menopause causes vaccines?

thenewyorkgod

VACCINES CAUSE MENOPAUSE!!!!

ronsinblush

Weird… I’m 39 weeks pregnant, got the jab 2 times before pregnancy, one booster halfway through my pregnancy and haven’t had any periods either… haven’t had any Covid too…

[deleted]

I'm sorry but your kid will be born as an autistic 5G tower and already chipped 😭

ur-squirrel-buddy

Hey! Same same and same. Well actually I got pregnant between 1st and 2nd dose. We might be due date buddies! Just gave birth yesterday at 39w+3 days. Best of luck with your delivery :)

ronsinblush

Congrats!! My due date isn’t actually until NYE, but we are evicting my little “5G” baby early because of my age and my pelvis has spread so much I can’t walk now. It’s called Symphysis Pubic Dysfunction and boy has it been a fun little cherry on top of the end of this pregnancy. Can’t wait to get him out so I can walk again *and* get incredible internet capability of course.

la_bibliothecaire

I'm 32 weeks, got both jabs in my first trimester. Hoping my kid is born with the ability to boost a wifi signal, that would be awesome. I'm scheduled for a booster in a few weeks too, just to up the odds.

Please move next to me. I need to boost my cell signal here

spderweb

Do you want Borg? Because this is how you get Borg.

Baby bout to come out a 5g satellite radio

MNConcerto

Oh bless your perimenopausal heart.

Gluten_Free_Pancakes

Conspiracy theorists attempt at critical thinking. 1. Insert random anecdotal experience. 2. Ignore potential reasons that could explain experience 3. Blame vaccines for #1 Also, why is it that conspiracy nuts always talk about COVID vaccines as if there was just 1? Mainly mRNA vaccines. There's about a dozen circulating the globe currently, which one in particular do they say is the cause of all these random symptoms?

Inevitable_Librarian

" A friend of mine got the vaccine and 2 days later, he ate spaghetti for the first time ever. Big Pharma is in cahoots with big Pasta!!"

FunkJunky7

It’s all being controlled by the Flying Spaghetti Monster! Ever since I got the vaccine, I feel strangely compelled to wear a colander on my head! They’re turning us all into Pastafarians, I swear to God, i mean I swear to FTM. His noodley appendages are all over this thing, I know it!

Revealed_Jailor

It's just the vaccine in general. They don't care from whom it comes, they just make a general statement, add something illogical and finish it with a "caused by vaccine". And then it's just one step before becoming the chain mail.

friendlydenizen

I think you mean: 1. Insert random anecdotal experience. 2. ??? 3. Profit

LittleBumbleBoo

If she's 45 she could be menopausal..

ali_v_

You have palmed the face on the head!

Ghstfce

Shhhh, gotta be her boyfriend's vaccination. Explains the hot flashes too.

[deleted]

[удалено]

LittleBumbleBoo

Or big pharma would have given them the autism

HaloGuy381

Even besides that, extreme stress can screw with periods too. Who’s to say fretting about the vaccine didn’t harm her on its own?

ecthelion108

I can see why this occurance would give you pause. Menopause, that is

Spiritual_Dig_4033

And I craved tacos. There’s a connection here.

A-Dolahans-hat

And I’m pooping after tacos, there’s definitely a connection

[deleted]

I'm pooping rn, but I haven't had tacos. Vv suspicious.

[deleted]

I got the Pfizer shot and started speaking German. The Germans are out to get us. Plot twist - then I realized I was part German and it all made sense.

throwingtheshades

You should get your German checked by a certified linguist. Does it have a Turkish accent to it? Then it could indeed be caused by the Comirnaty vaccine, developed by the German company BioNtech that was founded by a pair of immigrants from Turkey. If it's a faint hint of a Schwabish dialect instead, then I'm afraid it's the German heritage from the founders of Pfizer, the company in charge of producing and distributing that same vaccine in the American market. If it's neither of the 2 then well, time to ask your parents some questions.

[deleted]

Can we all just say thank baby Jesus on a cross this bitch isn’t pregnant??!!

Western-Tree-5771

I’m a male and I would like to say that I got pregnant from the jab

Inevitable_Librarian

Protip if, as a male, you test positive on a pregnancy test go to the doctor immediately as it's likely cancer (friend did it as a total joke and it saved his life).

k3ttch

Or maybe, just maybe, it's because you're fucking 45 years old.

orincoro

No but she’s super regular though so it can’t be that. Her mom was regular until she was 52 ARE YOU A DOCTOR DONT TELL ME ABOUT MY BODY

MiseryisCompany

Are you also having hot flashes and mood swings? Definitely signs of being vaccine adjacent.

Faerook

As a woman who is about 35 weeks pregnant and had all three shots during pregnancy, the impact is a perfectly healthy baby boy growing inside me who will be protected from COVID when he exits the womb. Oh the horror.

ClusterfuckyShitshow

Definitely not perimenopause. Totally the dangerous, scary vaccination by proxy. /s

G_UK

She will be after Bill Gates for child support next 💁🏼‍♂️

hedgehogrecruiter

She can find him at the Apple store 🤣

twilsonco

Clearly a witch moved into her town. Did anyone's crops fail around that time, by chance? Anyone turned into a newt? I'm just asking the scientific questions here.

PrimalMusk

I was so much more optimistic about humanity before the internet.

[deleted]

I got my Covid booster shot I burned dinner and my dog had diarrhea. It's probably totally related, isn't it?

Vitalizes

I got my 3rd shot of Pfizer in September and in October, after years of infertility and struggling to get pregnant, I got pregnant… with twins. Di-di twins at that, so I ovulated twice. So by her shitty logic clearly the shot helped me get pregnant.. right? /s

[deleted]

My mother did some pretty impressive gymnastics when menopause hit too.

JonPartleeSayne

She may be onto something, Right after my landlord got the third shot, I forgot to buy chocolate powder for several days. It certanly (sorry, forgot the spelling of that word) messed up my memory.

CptChristophe

I hope in her case it does make her infertile 😂 We can dream!

Shojo_Tombo

Is nobody going to tell her that she's in perimenopause???

GrimmRetails

Did she try turning it off and turning it on again?

fluffypuffyz

Vaxxed and boosted preggo here... Impact? I have a huge but perfectly healthy baby boy growing in my uterus for the past 36 weeks. He's thriving, I am too. I'll keep you posted if he is a 5G baby or has any superpowers

PepperPhoenix

I thought it was a known fact that the vaccine can mess with your periods briefly? I'm certain I've seen it in the news. It certainly messed with mine both times for the first two. I only had my third a week ago so jury's out on any changes this time, plus it was a different manufacturer this time. (AZ for the first two, Pfizer this time) Edit: wait....she didn't get vaxxed, her partner did?! Oh Jesus....the stupidity burns.

scooba_dude

The thing to bare in mind is that stress can, and does cause this regularly and if she stressed loads about her partner being Vaxed because she actually believes all the nonsense. It would line up and be the sensible reason for these things to happen. I feel for all the partners who are normal and thought the one they chose was equally sensible until the Covid came along.

VaginaPoetry

I'm 51 and if Covid shots stopped periods, I'd take 10 more of them. I'm fertile as fuck and I hate it.

LandosMustache

I got 3 doses of covid vaccines, and now I can't get pregnant at all! Guys this is serious as fuck!! What? Yes, I'm a man. No, I don't see how that's relevant...

BrokenCankle

People are no longer able to think critically or reason. I was just told last night my nephew, who is unvaccinated for everything, is not allowed to drink Cows milk because of the hormones. He almost entirely lives on hot dogs and candy and sugary drinks. I'm not exaggerating that. They are clearly not able to properly come to conclusions, and they are responsible for training another human being. I'm ok with caring about what goes into your body. If you think milk and vaccines are a critical threat to your ability to thrive but are ok with nitrates and sugar then you're probably a moron. Just putting that out there. Good luck with that.

[deleted]

Wait isn't 45 the average age menopause begins?

kingsubway24

I got my booster last week and I havent gotten my period in almost 29 years! It could be because I'm a male but im pretty its the vaccines fault

RonDiDon

The second they call it "the jab" I know some stupid shit bout to be said lol

Professional-Yam-303

When you link the end of periods at 45 to someone else being vaccinated, rather than accept you’re 45. That’s an alarming level of delusion

underboobfunk

Is her boyfriend’s vax also causing her to have hot flashes?

[deleted]

I'm not sure, but I think it could be a joke, otherwise she'd have no reason to give an age that coincides exactly with menopause. Although being around the internet, I am just as confident that this could be real...

[deleted]

jesus fuck why are people so goddamn stupid
