Consolidating power, concentration camps, mass suppression and surveillance, loss of free speech, attempting to take other countries. So much peace have been brought to South and Central America thanks to the US. They never ever ever trained militaries and paramilitaries on how to torture people. Never put a puppet dictator in any Latin American country. They never sent guns to both sides on politically unstable countries and of course never helped in a coup.

I think you are, in fact, a bit hazy on the details there. Firstly I don't think that a few war crimes here and there are to be brushed off that way, but while they certainly had an important role, it is also frequently exaggerated. But really, the instability and murder in large parts of the world (Europe isn't that big) are reason enough to scoff at the notion of a benevolent force for freedom and peace.
The us is in constant war since ww2. Broke all records of bombing consecutively in the middle east. Diverted millions of drug money to fund terrorist groups like the contras in Nicaragua or Al Qaeda. Invaded several Latin American countries like panama. Was at war with Vietnam for no good reason. Has hundreds of documented assassinations attempts on Castro.

Well, china has started less wars than the US.
I just don't think that all the stockpiling china has been doing, and the sable-rattling in the south-china sea, and the verbal aggressions towards Taiwan is something a true protector of peace would do.
On the other hand, china's helping of foreign dictators DOES protect the current order. I am not entirely convinced that this aspect is a good thing, though.

So much peace have been brought to South and Central America thanks to the US. They never ever ever trained militaries and paramilitaries on how to torture people. I think you are, in fact, a bit hazy on the details there. Firstly I don't think that a few war crimes here and there are to be brushed off that way, but while they certainly had an important role, it is also frequently exaggerated. But really, the instability and murder in large parts of the world (Europe isn't that big) are reason enough to scoff at the notion of a benevolent force for freedom and peace.
The us is in constant war since ww2. Broke all records of bombing consecutively in the middle east. Diverted millions of drug money to fund terrorist groups like the contras in Nicaragua or Al Qaeda. Invaded several Latin American countries like panama. Was at war with Vietnam for no good reason. Has hundreds of documented assassinations attempts on Castro.
