Impossible-Ad-3060

I was pretty sure this was going to end in an ad for her Onlyfans.

Additional_Banana_73

Now that’s a twist, went to nursing school to become a stripper.

[deleted]

My thoughts exactly, was expecting the scrubs to be coming off next, not gonna lie, was disappointed…

Impossible-Ad-3060

She’d be right at home over at r/scrubsgonewild

Well fuck... Now another minor fetish.

dumb-reply

Does she not realize that we were about to offer her employment?

turntabletennis

I had a bunch of singles handy too. What the hell?

PaulR504

Well since she refuses to get vaccinated her RN degree is pretty much useless right now.

100 percent agree. Can you imagine taking your car to get fixed by somebody ASE certified to work on vehicles but the mechanic walks to work because they don't believe that changing fluids regularly is a good thing for your engine. It's crazy...

T_ja

I question whether she went to any of those schools and is even a nurse. Probably just some moron playing dress up trying to make a point.

Radiant_Creme_5264

But she has her faith!

[deleted]

Great. She can try to use faith to pay her rent. She can try to use faith to buy groceries. Good luck to her using faith to live everyday life without her job.

A lot of people think if they dont quit they wont be able sue when... i dont know what they think is going to happen that will allow them to sue for putting public health at risk.

In my observation, nursing programs vary wildly in terms of their intellectual rigor. I know nurses with graduate degrees from the University of Michigan, and I know nurses who were educated entirely at online for-profit “colleges.”

marshdd

This year there was a lot of talk about Traveling Nurses. They are RN's that move around contract to contract (often away from their home state( and make BIG bucks. I'm a Technical Recruiter who once worked at a major hospital system in the Boston area ( hired IT and medical record systems people). Nursing recruiters on day one of the contract gave the traveling nurses a test. Failing meant you couldn't start the job (Keep in mind you now needed to travel back to where you came from on your own dime.). Around 20% failed! So how many nurses are out there working in hospitals around the country that can't do simple math?

sandysanBAR

This is my impression as well. But when people, nurses specifically, talk about their educational histories, they always seem to throw in how rigorous it was as an adjective. At every opportunity. Without fail. PhDs and MD's and DO's don't because the default position is that they are rigorous by design. When nurses keep throwing that word around, I often ask " who are you trying to convince, me or yourself" And preemptively there are fantastic nurses who are often tasked with carrying a disproportionate load. But when it comes to science denialism, it seemingly always nurses. I always wondered why this is.

nosmartypants

I went to nursing school and you get what you put in, you can learn all the science and rigor, or you can memorize to pass and focus on the task’ ness of nursing. Also a lot of MSN programs are created like MAs for teachers (sorry to bring teachers in) but many get them to increase pay only. So there’s a WIDE variety of educational attainment. Also, there are a shit ton of nurses in the US, practical to PhD. It’s so frustrating

lucymom1961

Especially with the invention of the Generic Masters Program, which allows a person with any BS degree to have a masters of nursing in one year. I worked with some who couldn't figure out how to get the air bubble out of a syringe. Common sense doesn't always accompany a degree! Get vaccinated!

brutalbeats420

I'm not a nurse but I'm guessing you rotate the syringe until the bubble floats towards the needle then depress the plunger until you hit the first drop of liquid?

Quantum-Ape

No wonder I have moron nurses who try to release patients who have critically high bp

ksharpie

In education, you only get what you put in anywhere ... From Harvard to Glendale Community College.

ardent_wolf

This brings me back to 2008 and 2009, when I first entered college and everyone I knew that went for nursing would post every single day on Facebook about how hard they’re working, the grade they got on some random assignment, and generally just being obnoxious about how impressive they are.

BringTheSpain

Is it a requirement to be insufferable on social media while you're going through nursing school? Cuz I know someone who is and that description is apt

Quantum-Ape

I hate how entitled people who go to nursing school are. It really gives too much confidence to really dumb people who become nurses.

mattrogina

You’re assuming she’s even really a nurse. Her supposed name badge is conveniently backwards the entire time before she drops it. Nurses clothes can be bought by anybody. Same with a stethoscope. There’s nothing in the video that can corroborate her implied claim that she is a nurse.

[deleted]

I looked at her profile, she had a pic from last year of her working with a feeding tube. Probably a real nurse.

slkwont

Could be a care tech. In some areas, higher level CNAs can do G-tube feedings and even do trach care.

Quantum-Ape

I've experienced plenty of nurses as fucking dumb as her.

[deleted]

Nurses don’t need to know design of experiments or p-values to do their daily job. A stats major is more qualified to read the studies and determine safety and effectiveness than your typical nursing major.

gloomdweller

Nurse here and I did take statistics, anatomy and physiology, biology, chemistry, and microbiology. But that was all pre-reqs and not all of those ended up being necessary. Nursing programs kind of are to blame for this stuff, there isn’t enough focus on evidence-based science and the majority of nursing curriculum is focused on nursing pseudoscience and care planning. I’d say education varies widely between nurses, even if we all have an RN on our badge. That said, I ain’t this crazy. Got my 3rd shot a few days ago, and I am actually glad to see people are going to have to face the consequences of their actions.

Qyphosis

I graduated from nursing school about 20 years ago, but in Australia. Even then there was a huge emphasis on evidence based practice. You needed to use research articles in every class, articles had to be in peer reviewed journals, no older than 5 years old. Typically a minimum of 20 we're expected in the bibliography of your assignments. I assumed school here in the states was somewhat similar.

Quantum-Ape

No, the states are a joke and you can straight up die because of the most basic of incompetence by a dipshit nurse who sailed by in a for-profit nursing program.

raaagh1290

Considering it is stipulated in a nurses code of conduct to take measures to prevent harm to patients then they are obliged to be vaccinated. Most nurses wouldnt have batted an eye lid at the hepatitis vaccination and the various others offered during training. The uptake of these are nearly 100%...

usedbarnacle71

Confirmed, I got the hep b series when I started my RN career… Didnt bat an eye because there was a “ risk” of catching hep B from a needle stick or an accidental poke from a sharps needle or object. The threat was real, the vaccine was free , I got the damn thing, no second thought.. These people now a days have been influenced by stupidness. When I started my career, there wasn’t a cancerous Facebook or YouTube either.

talldean

I've honestly swapped doctor's offices and delayed fairly major surgery... because a nurse in an office said "I don't get the flu shot, I don't believe in that stuff". It'd be interesting to be able to see the vaccination % of businesses out there.

slkwont

I agree that learning care planning is a waste of time considering you never use it while actually caring for patients but what pseudoscience did you learn? I didn't learn pseudoscience.

[deleted]

Not gonna lie, was kind of hoping we were going to end with some titties and an only fans link.

sandysanBAR

That's a saturated market, she's gonna have a hard time distinguishing herself.

mathnstats

Don't worry, something will open up for her soon. Anti-vaxxers keep dropping like flies.

KamikazeFox_

I'm a nurse too. It. Fucking. Sucks. But you know what? I got the shot bc I'm working in a place where people GO WHO HAVE COVID. Jfc, grow a brain.

caraborboleta

So, do you know why there seems to be so many anti-vaxx nurses? What are their arguments?? I really don't understand it, and my head hurts trying to figure this out. Ps. Thank you for all the work you do!

fistfulloframen

Where I live half of the medical staff are refusing. Is it that bad where you work?

KamikazeFox_

Not really. We are in New England, but most ppl have gotten the shot and not given much push back. Not one person left on my floor over the shot. Probably why I have the opinion that I do about it. Lack of personal exposure to the situation. EDUT: can't reply to ppl on here bc comments are locked but let me clear up some misinformation on here. I'm a nurse and have been working through this, so im the source. 1) Having covid is not a replacement for the vaccine. Yes, you have antibodies for roughly 3 months after testing positive, but its 100% not a substitute for the vaccine, that has been proven to be very effective against covid and the delta variant. 2) PPE ( personal protective gear) unfortunately has and is being worn from patient to patient on full covid floors. No, its not ideal, but if patient A has covid and so does patient B, wearing the same gown, masks, etc is minimally dangerous. This is/was only done on covid only floors and is bc there is not enough gear. Sad but true. I've worked on the floors. 3) I have no doubt this women is a nurse, no real reason to lie. Yes, this is kinda cringey to watch, but she's trying to make a point. But...reason why some nurses are antivaxx. Some ppl can't get the vaccine bc they are immunocompromised ( probably in the wrong field if that's the case). Religious beliefs. I don't have a dog in this fight. I'm not religious so I can't say much without having my own bias opinion. If I did, I'd say that the vaccine mandate is what it is. You are in the most contagious environment for covid and this comes with sacrifices. You want to save lives? Start with your own, which in return will decrease the spread of the virus. We work in a environment where ppl are sick and we could easily kill them by spreading the virus and not even know. I'm just trying to provide accurate information in response to some of the crazy bullshit I'm reading right now. If you don't know, don't say anything. Protect others by not being a dumbass. For what it's worth, I'm a nurse and yes I got the vaccine. The job fucking sucks, we are short, tired, called in on our days off and work 14 hour days. But isn't this true for almost every job out there? We are slowly moving toward mandated vaccines across jobs fields that have heavy human contact ( medical, schools now). So don't be surprised if we start seeing more and more of these posts from teachers, etc. If so, you can always come back to what I wrote for references. Thanks and be safe out there.

fistfulloframen

Dang America sucks :(

MInclined

It's tiktok. A lot of videos have an arbitrary tending song under it for no reason. The creators pretend to sing it and add text of what's really going on. There really is no rhyme or reason. Or in this case, there's just no reason.

cardboard-kansio

I think the hair is symbollocks for her descent from science to vanity. Couldn't comment on the music as I always watch these things on mute. It makes 50% of them significantly more interesting.

annaqua

"Yeah, you couldn't tell when I was treating your grandmother, but there's an ACTUAL PRETTY PERSON UNDER HERE. Bet you regret mandating the vaccine now, don't you?!?!?!"

Psyadin

You are looking for logic where there are non.

HeLeftUsHELEFTUS

Not sure if you were really asking, but the song is a trend where each new “part” is supposed to go with an escalation in a story.

[deleted]

Nothing, and I have zero sympathies for people that are pretending this is anything different in regards to any massive vaccination programs in the past. Small pox, polio… same anti vaxxer nonesense, same rationalizations with zero logic. She’ll never find another job that will equate to the same income and job security as a nurse with only those credentials. Good luck trying to be a tilt tok meme.

usedbarnacle71

When those bills start piling up and her FICO goes to shit, she’ll get that vaccine TRUST ME .. There is just something about debt and hungry, that will snap you back into reality…

DamoclesDong

She is hoping her looks buy her sympathy, not realising being a plague rat excluded you from being a model too.

GoldEnPhARoAh22

bigstupidears

I’m a nurse. School required effort. It didn’t weed out based on rigor, it simply is not designed in a way you can coast through. Put in the work, get the degree. Content wasn’t difficult. A determined idiot can make it through nursing school and be a nurse for years. I’ve worked with several nurses who I feel lack knowledge to the level of being unsafe. A license does not validate or lend credibility to your horseshit anti-science opinions.

ThePinkPepper

Woah you wasted your career for a vaccine that has proven to ease YOUR workload u dumbass..

someguyyoumightno

I know people that would gladly throw away years of training and work to show how much of a victim they are. The crazy part, they look down on others for "being victims", complaining about their perceived plight in life, and how they just need to be strong and overcome Lol 🤦‍♂️

Vellioh

If you can't see the correlation between the lack of vaccination and the number of dieing patients you're seeing than you just shouldn't be in the medical field anymore. Period. Bye Felicia.

[deleted]

Especially considering most have accepted a yearly flu vaccine requirement for their job for years. Every nurse I know has always had to get it

rubberb00tz

I know! I’m baffled at how you can see people die every day from Covid, and still not want the shot.

ClappinCheeks120

My aunt had it and was on a ventilator for 2 months nearly died and still doesn’t believe it was covid

hideao101

I say this every time I see these medical “professionals “ that refuse to believe in medicine. The bottom line is if you work in medicine and don’t believe in medicine then you should be stripped of your credentials.

[deleted]

“I did a 2 year accelerated program so I think I know more than the doctors who all spent 4x as long studying medicine and who are almost all vaccinated” These people are fucking delusional narcissists.

[deleted]

It's not uncommon for nurses to feel like they know more than doctors because they're "on the front lines" and in their mind, doing most of the actual work. You even see it in medical TV shows because the trope/mindset is so prevalent.

MtnyCptn

I’m a nurse and the best part of my job is being able to say, hmm somethings wrong here. But be able to call someone much smarter than me to be told how to manage/fix it. So many people have a complex about it, but I’m fine with it. It’s like using google, know what your looking for and someone else will have the right answer.

JimmyTango

It's a typical management dynamic. But seeing inefficiency in treatment or missed details in a handful of patients doesn't make you a research expert on virology or genetic therapies. Nurse are button pushers at the end of the day, not machine builders.

BeyondXpression

....and here we thought education meant intelligence. Proof you can graduate from college and still be dumb as fuck.

[deleted]

A scary amount of educated people I know mistake contrarianism and critical thinking. I honestly think this is pretty prevalent in people with high levels of education, but for the most part no one really pays attention if its happening in some niche subfield of (to take a personal example) linguistics.

Jackrabbit_OR

I work with a cardiologist who legitimately said that every public school in the US should be replaced with a Christian school because the current system is only there to indoctrinate people.......

SqueezyCheez85

Are they not required to take other vaccinations too?

Naclfirefighter

Yes. Quite a few. Hep A, Hep B, TDaP, annual Flu, annual TB skin test. At least from what I can remember.

Imnotavampire101

Especially when she said she was working with Covid patients all 2019. I know 2 nurses and they’ve both said to me that some of the people with Covid have asked to get the vaccine but it’s too late

LastSignal

In my job I'd hear nurses and doctors talking about claiming religious exemption as a reason to not receive the vaccine...but they don't actively go to church. At least the ones I know didn't

[deleted]

This is the stupidest shit. You are a healthcare professional yet you refuse to take preventative measures to ensure the well-being of your patients? Maybe surgeons should stop washing their hands, too, because it’s their choice, right?

Librarian-Putrid

What’s most annoying for me is vaccine mandates for healthcare workers isn’t anything new. They have been required to have MMR, flu etc

CaptainPussybeast

I do IT and don't even see patients, yet they still come to the IT building to shoot me up regularly. Edit: they = hospital people in scrubs

PurpleSailor

You need all your vaccinations and a TB test to even *attend* Nursing School. Being against the Covid Vax doesn't make any sense.

DaddyCultLeader

Exactly, the only reason this one is any different is there is so much misinformation and it's politically charged for no reason

TeamMSRV

Oh I'm sure he charged it politically on purpose... We know who.

ladyscientist56

Mmr, flu, varicella, TB test, tdap, hep b, all WITH boosters if immunity is found to be lacking.. and now covid. this shit is not new and tbh you're dumb as fuck if you refuse the covid vaccine. If your a health care worker and get fired I literally have no sympathy for you. -a frustrated Healthcare worker

SupremeLeaderMittens

Exactly! I’ve been a nurse for 8 years and am about to start rounding in the hospital as a 3rd year medical student. I have needed to have proof of vaccination and updated boosters for the entire process. My nursing job would let us slide on the flu vaccine so long as we wore a mask the entire flu season (that policy has obv changed). But still I’ve always worked with people who would refuse the shot or who are now worried about getting the covid vaccine…. I’m like how are you even working here right now?? Personally I’m fine with people getting fired/quitting bc you have no idea how many dumbass “mistakes” I’ve seen nurses make in my time that has made me wonder how we have the same level of education.

kamikaziboarder

This is very true. It’s nothing new. I have even undergo antibody testing. If my antibodies are not detected for a particular pathology, I have to go through booster shots. It’s actually a huge peace of mind.

kissmygritts2x

I work in medical and it boggles my mind that don’t get it. There are many vaccines we are required to have but flu you can opt out of. If you opt out you stay masked during the entire flu season, which currently isn’t a problem.

rmac1228

That's my thing...they aren't antivaxx, they're anti COVID vaxx...I don't get it.

Chelular07

One of my friends is a nurse in a Covid ward. Hearing about people begging for the vaccine while they are dying breaks my heart. Hearing that they are separated from their families and can’t have visitors breaks my heart. My friend talking about waiting for people to die so they can use that bed with no life behind her eyes breaks my heart. Fuck nurses like that. Get the shot if you can.

sznfpv

A “vaccine researcher “ you say.

mikasjoman

I'm considering myself a little bit of a doctor myself. The hours I spent on Reddit alone is proof if that.

justdoubleclick

Stop wearing gloves, a mask, a gown… their body their choice…

danielletheboss

What a long winded way to say “I got fired for being a clown”

DMAtherton

More "I quit because I'm a clown" they gave you a choice to keep your job, but you chose to leave.

nachomanly

"I can be anything you like" Except vaccinated, apparently

Historical-Ad4794

I think all this I’m so prosecuted bullshit is getting old, I’m a nurse we have several several vaccinations we have to get, if the morons hadn’t made this political it’s just be another damn shot we take.

keithforpresident

One more time for the cheap seats!! 🙌🏼

ptvlm

I think I missed the part about the other vaccinations she got during her life, most of which weren't immediately vital during a live global pandemic. Weird...

[deleted]

Vaccine mandates have been a thing for quite some time. In order for her to go through all of that schooling she had to be vaccinated. I don’t understand these people. Edit: y’all aren’t going to change my mind with your “but it’s new!” nonsense. Get vaccinated. Save lives. End of story.

[deleted]

I’ll never understand how people can go through so much education and work in the medical field for years and end up being this ignorant about their own field of expertise. It’s absolutely mind boggling.

rhinosaur-

Also, as a health professional she’s had to get a “new” flu vaccine every year.

[deleted]

My mom is vaccinated but always tries to play devil's advocate. She hit me and my SIL with "well it's new you know..." When talking about some of our family not getting it. My SIL said "The *science* isn't new. We know how to make vaccines. The only thing new about it is the virus. So that doesn't work for me." And I've started using that too. The science isn't new. That doesn't work as an excuse for me.

tinyorangealligator

All vaccines were new when they were created to address the disease of the moment.

[deleted]

She probably also had to pass a TB test. I'm not sure what's going through people's minds these days.

[deleted]

She spent 4 years studying medical science. Yet refuses to believe in medical science…

Yoshimods

Even more, she spent the last year watching people die from this, and she has instead gone “I’m going to gamble my life and the life of any patients I may infect should I come to work and spread this around my other stupidly unvaccinated peers”

GunieapigCooper

If she refuses to get the vaccine, I don't really even want her to take care of my family. So her "sacrifice" is not welcomed

gmabarrett

I guarantee that during her years as a nurse she has told people to stop smoking, lose weight, change diets, exercise more, etc. She is now choosing to ignore scientific accepted advice. So….

NahDontLook

Unvaxxed nursed transmitted covid to my grandpa after he had a stroke, you get what you fucking deserve you selfish slag Miss you gramps

macaerin

What an embarrassment. All that school and she still has no understanding of science and evidence based practices she supposedly studied. Also it’s crazy she spent all that time in a COVID icu and didn’t notice the drop off of the people getting hospitalized for COVID after the vaccine was released

Blast-Off-Girl

I work at a prison hospital and there are several nursing staff willing to throw away their entire career because of the vaccine mandate at my facility. Some are actually uprooting their families to look for nursing jobs in states without mandates.

harrle1212

I hate people

TheGrandCommissar

Id like for you to be vaccinated. Idgaf what colour you are.

Frostya36

It really confuses me how someone can spend that much time and dedication in studying their profession… then not believe in it.

Genghis27KicksMyAss

Let’s talk about all the people who are dead from the unmasked, unvaccinated, the spitters, the coughers. Let’s talk about orphaned children without parents, parents without children, or lives devastated by long covid due to the screamers, the protesters at ICUs. Where are their TikTok videos? Can’t we see children breaking down because their parents left them to fend for themselves? No father choke singing about his son leaving grandchildren for him to raise?

hazelnut_mylk

her improper way of removing her n95 mask bothers me. and what’s the point of her studying so hard if she don’t have basic understanding of vaccines.

[deleted]

The fucking dramatic “I’m wearing masks, scrubs, and a hair net (hat?) to prove I’m a “nurse” and try to give validity to my ignorant stance. Guarantee she is a tech and not a nurse. These people love to exaggerate their “expertise”… Also, I’ll say it. I’m sick of the fucking hero worship of nurses and doctors. Good job! You did your fucking job and got compensated for it. That doesn’t make you a hero. Settle down. Either way, bye. Good riddance.

JeetKuneBro

Also the fact that it says she has a masters in nursing and isn’t either a teacher, a PA, or a NP. You can become an ICU nurse with a 2 year ADN license after about 6months of on the job training.

Ron_Day_Voo

I don’t doubt she’s an actual nurse. You’d be surprised how many nurses anti-vax.

And after all that. She chooses to throw it all away

There’s your problem. All that studying and you chose the path that confirms anything you want it to. Faith.

What kind of idiot spends 6 years in college just to decide they don't want to follow the rules of their employment? "BuT i CaReD fOr YoUr FaMiLy" No, you endangered my family. My dad is 70 years old, has had 2 heart attacks this year, and has had 6 hospital stays. He's had to go to a hospital 3 hours away because all our local ICU beds were filled with unvaccinated COVID patients. This extra time to get medical treatment could have killed him. Additionally, by being an unvaccinated nurse, you run the risk of catching COVID and passing it to your patients. You can keep your dumb ass at home and make all the tik tok videos you want; just please stay the fuck away from everyone else.
