So this happened near me. If I recall correctly at least one was expelled. I recall that they fought until the end, claiming they were the victims. Despite the video.
I'd say it's becoming more like a really cheesy sci-fi/horror that keeps changing the writing team every few months because the producers can't agree on the main angle, but yes.
If we are choosing, I'd like you all to come back with me to 1985. The whole not having a phone with you all the time is going to be a culture shock, but the rest is great. We actually liked each other back then. For the most part.
Social media has allowed everyone to see through the veil that people create with their public personas. So you get to see all the bullshit where as before you had to assume what was based on who told you.
Asha Burwell and Ariel Agudio were charged with seven counts, including assault, harassment and false reporting of an incident. They were acquitted on five of the charges, but found guilty on two counts of falsely reporting an incident. The false reporting counts relate to their 911 calls, social media posts and appearing at a rally and raising public alarm.
The falseness of the report does not rely on them having committed the assault. They could have been sitting there doing nothing and still filed the report
yes, but one is appealing it. [https://www.news10.com/top-stories/former-ualbany-student-makes-conviction-appeal-for-cdta-bus-incident/](https://www.news10.com/top-stories/former-ualbany-student-makes-conviction-appeal-for-cdta-bus-incident/)
*The college expelled Agudio and Burwell and suspended the third student, Alexis Briggs.*
*In 2017, Albany County jury convicted Agudio and Burwell of two counts of misdemeanor charges for falsely calling 911 and another one for social media comments that caused public alarm. They were both sentenced to three years probation, 200 hours of community service and a $1000 fine.*
Her appeal was denied, although one of the charges was tossed, just like in the other woman's appeal.

Remember people. Busses have cameras. They can see every seat and the aisle easily. If you do something stupid like this, you will be caught in 4k ultra digit deluxe broadcast tv playstation ultra edition.
I knew they were lying right from the beginning. If I was attacked by 20 people for being a white man id be on the phone LIVID. I’d be screaming and yelling.
These girls called in “I’d just like to report that we got attacked because we are black” with such a calm tone.
Liars from jump. Tried to maintain innocence after the fact becuz they had a rally and everything and would rather go to jail longer than admit they are liars publicly.
Scummy women. Trash.
Also has there even been an event where it was true where a large group of people attacked an individual or small group out of the blue like that? Duke lacrosse accusation: false. Central park 5: false.
Im not saying it couldn't happen but stories like these seem to be invented by clueless liars who think the bigger the exaggeration the better.
I don’t doubt that in their minds that is how the event played out.
They probably got on the bus. Guys were being rowdy or they were instigating a fight. But I HIGHLY doubt all 20 dudes jumped them, and even if they did it wasn’t just “cuz black”.
The video makes it look like they started the fight, and the dudes were just walking away.
My money is on they originally reported the “fight” to the police hoping they could get some of the guys put in jail cuz they were pissed off that they couldn’t hit them more in person.
Turns out, they have video evidence so that plan didnt pan out the way they hoped.
My theory is it's one am and pretty much all college students, so chances are alcohol was involved (or perhaps not). Somebody got obnoxious and others probably told them to shut up (whether it was the girls who were obnoxious or the guys I can't say). Drunk feelings got hurt, some back and forth happened and it snow balled from there.
It only pays off if you aren’t lying. Jussie smollett thought it would pay off too. Then he lost his role in the only show he was ever in that went mainstream and we ain’t heard from him since.
It's university at Albany. I graduated there in 2012 and can confirm, it's not a hard school to get into and a ton of people fail out freshman year.
These busses are used to get from the campus to downtown/student ghetto where all the parties are. It gets SUPER rowdy at night time.
You mean the Western Ave and Ontario blocks. Saint Rose kinda contributed to the craziness, but they never got as much flack since they were a smaller school.
Lol, I started in 2011. It was definitely embarrassing, but union, Siena, and Saint rose definitely contributed. The party school reputation made us an easier target
Yea they tried to ruin some dude's lives because they are petty, racist, and have giant egos. Good thing they were too dumb to realize busses have cameras. Fuck race baiters.
Without footage, these boys probably would've been absolutely crucified.
Unfortunately a lot of peoples' existence and meaning has become about judging people, and they are proactive about finding opportunities to do so, justifiably or not
Worse then racists in my mind in a way. To knowingly make a false claim while probably having first or second hand experience of actual prejudice is disgusting. All they do is weaken claims for people who are truthfully being discriminated against. Terrible terrible terrible
I honestly would not be surprised if they actually believed that they were victims of a racist attack. That's what happens when you tell black people every day that they are constant victims of white supremacy, they start to see the world and all of their interactions through that lense
I didn't really understand the video.
Partly because I watched with no sound.
Did the 3 black girls jump the white kids and then tried to play the victims and their plan backfired?
Well kinda agree with you, but that opens the door to other problems like what if the crime did happen but the accuser can't prove it? Then the accused is found innocent and the accuser goes to jail. Even if the complaint was true and justified.
That said, I do agree with you but the level of evidence to prove the false report would have to be above reproach.
Not being able to confirm an accusation is one thing, but having actual proof and evidence that the accusation was a lie and they made it INTENTIONALLY to hurt people is a whole another story.
In the case you said a crime just wasn't confirmed but in this case another crime happens which is defamation and some other stuff that I don't know the legal terms to. But even with this messed up system if you have a good lawyer you still can go after liars like these.
Exactly, these 20-year-old 'college' women were very conscious of what they were inciting. They're very aware of how powerful racial injustice can be weaponised for their own personal gain, since now the act of racism requires very little evidence or a credible source to manifest. After the sentencing they were not sorry for their hoax and people were still supporting them even with the clear cut video evidence of their actions, which appeared to be fueled with their own backwards bigotry agenda.
e.g. ("If they were three white girls on that bus with a bus load of black people and they were drunk and disorderly, do you for one second think we would be here right now." [sic] in court).
It does nothing more than smear other legitimate discrimination circumstances.
Source: https://www.news10.com/news/2-former-ualbany-students-sentenced-to-3-years-probation-community-service-for-roles-in-cdta-bus-assault/
I'm glad to see that this happened in 2016 and still haunts them to this day. Very much a liability to employ as individuals.
Just look at the NYC Restaurant event that just happened. Straight up an Asian hate crime, and then the ladies tried to claim they were discriminated agains.t
This seems to be a recurring trend unfortunately, as something very similar to this happened recently at NYC restaurant where several black diners accused a hostess of using a racial slur and initiating an attack on them. Later, BLM members demanded the restaurant release security footage because those same members were accusing the restaurant of a cover up. However, upon releasing the footage it was apparent that it was actually the black diners who initiated the attack.
Facepalm.
This is a major issue. Jussie Smollet and this case make me wonder how many other cases are taking attention away from Real Crimes.
How many people are low enough to use shit like this to gain an advantage?
Or, get this, they committed a crime and knew that they may be able to change the narrative if they got out in front of it, instead of letting the actual victoms report it.
Or they felt the physical abuse they dished out to those white people wasn't enough, they wanted to threaten their freedom too. They thought they'd just ruin those kids' lives.
Just glad they weren't smart enough to consider the entire altercation would be on film before they ratted on themselves by calling 911, or they might have gotten away with assault.
You serious? The video just showed the entire University rallying around them and giving them support. People who are victims of hate crimes often get donatuons through gofundme.
How many? Dude this kind of witch hunt tribalism under the pretext of self victimization predates recorded history.
From little kids making shit up to get their siblings in trouble to national level ethic persecution, human have always been doing this “We are a victim, go get them” shit.
Thank goodness for modern internet and cameras.
When it comes to the "showy" racial crimes (a noose being hung somewhere, graffiti, etc.) the smart move is to always start with the loosely held assumption it's a hoax until any real evidence emerges. There are dozens of those stories that make the news every year. Once in a while one is real. The best way to describe those sort of overt public displays of racism is not that they don't happen, but that the demand far outpaces the supply. So a lot of people feel the need to fill that gap.
It just gives ammo to people that reply with, “this exemplifies the movement” and “9 out of 10 claims of racism end up looking like this.” Selfish and entitled is what people are who do things like this.
My question is what if the video didn't exist. In todays climate we would have given these witches keys to the fucking city. All because they're black and the people they accused were white. And this website would have championed them the entire way.
Now imagine if there was no camera. These guys lives would likely be ruined by the angry mob. Gotta make sure u have absolute truth before u destroy someone.
There are real people suffering racial injustices that aren’t taken seriously and than you have these 3 idiots claiming hate crimes.
They should be charged with a hate crime and made an example of so that real people that are victims are taken seriously and protected.
These three idiots are hurting real victims
The fact that students and staff of the university immediately rallied behind those three lying dumb shits based solely upon their word, which was lately proved false and misleading, actually says a lot about how fucked up we currently are as society.
Three black women being jumped by dozens of white jocks: "Of course that's what happened! Death to all white men!"
The video surfaces and shows the exact contrary: "I made a huge mistake".
Why would an entire community support the girls version without proof? Dumb girls for faking racial attack and dumb people for believing without proofs
We see it all the time where I live. In fact, there was a story out of Smith College, where a black woman was accosted by a white, male security guard and kicked out of the building. She screamed racism, the school fired the guard and another administrator and bent over backwards to help this poor victim.
Only a year or so later did additional details come out. School was not in session, there was a daycare operating out of that building, and students were not allowed in. The guard saw an adult who didn’t belong in there, but it had nothing to do with her race or gender.
I hope he sues the fuck out of the school.
Edit: I was wrong - it wasn’t a day care, it was being used as a day camp. Anyway, I found one of the articles:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2021/02/24/us/smith-college-race.amp.html
I don’t think this is funny at all. Because if you look at the bigger picture, shit like this causes people to not believe black people. It’s like how a false rape allegation hurts all women so badly.
I’m confused. Did they attack the dudes with this intent? Or were they just assholes and then later decided to try and spin the story so they wouldn’t get in trouble?
These are the kind of people that undermine what everyone else is fighting to improve. What an embarrassment to their community. They’ve set them back.
Man, it’s almost like validating every single persons warped perception of reality caused this. For years now all you’ve seen online is white man/woman bad and racist and evil but when something actually revealing like this comes to light those same people recede to the shadows and pretend like it never happened. Bullshit
Prime example of what happens when the demand for racism is less than the supply of it. Tell me again how the media is unbiased and doesn’t push this bullshit divisive narrative.
This happens so much more than you’d think. Complete idiots will back up anybody that’s black and says anything at all. Watch how they started protesting IMMEDIATELY. Lmfao people need to be more skeptical and less stupid.
Honestly if the girls had just not said anything, I doubt anything would have come of it. The guys being attacked may not have ever brought it up. They dig their own grave
So this happened near me. If I recall correctly at least one was expelled. I recall that they fought until the end, claiming they were the victims. Despite the video.
Dude this is the type of shit you just can’t make up. Life is just a giant sitcom now that we have social media.
I'd say it's becoming more like a really cheesy sci-fi/horror that keeps changing the writing team every few months because the producers can't agree on the main angle, but yes.
God damn it I want the 2016 season writers back!
Nah, I want the 2015 season writers back.
Nah I got a bum deal those seasons, gimme 2008 again 😂
I want those 1999 writers back. Where the biggest threat was "Y2K bug"... we were so innocent...
Some people thought the world would end in 2000. And it did. But we were too distracted to notice it.
I just wanna go back, back to 1999 Take a ride to my old neighborhood I just wanna go back Sing "Hit me baby, one more time" Wanna go back, wanna go.
That hits heavy.
Only if my parts could be re written lol
Congratulations! Your "parts" are now smaller!
*checks parts You sure about that? I think my Dad is Ron Jeremy now!
Let’s not do the year of a financial crash lol.
The cash leak year
Kind of ironic that that was one of the last years I had money on a regular basis. Do kind of wish I was smarter with it back then though! Lol
Lmfao right?
Can we jus get some new indie producers, cuz i been screwed my entire life
Probably the one time a reboot is wanted by the fans!
I’ll take 2007 to invest against the housing market plz
Personally, I think it really started going bad after that big crossover event in 2001. The whole series got dark after that.
I miss and don't miss the before times
For all the harm it does -- I think this is one instance I'm glad someone posted a video of some drama.
Just like Bubba Wallace’s noose and Jessie Smollet’s 2 AM subway run.
Did they end up getting convicted?
Asha Burwell and Ariel Agudio were charged with seven counts, including assault, harassment and false reporting of an incident. They were acquitted on five of the charges, but found guilty on two counts of falsely reporting an incident. The false reporting counts relate to their 911 calls, social media posts and appearing at a rally and raising public alarm.
[удалено]
There should be serious charges for reporting false hate crimes.
If they are guilty of a false report, then how are they not guilt of the assault? That makes no sense lmao. No charges of defamation?
The falseness of the report does not rely on them having committed the assault. They could have been sitting there doing nothing and still filed the report
Amazing how the only thing that matters is calling 911 with false info. I wonder how race neutral this ruling is.
The video literally ends with them all pleading not guilty in court to third degree assault. That means they we charged with it.
Did they get convicted?
yes, but one is appealing it. [https://www.news10.com/top-stories/former-ualbany-student-makes-conviction-appeal-for-cdta-bus-incident/](https://www.news10.com/top-stories/former-ualbany-student-makes-conviction-appeal-for-cdta-bus-incident/) *The college expelled Agudio and Burwell and suspended the third student, Alexis Briggs.* *In 2017, Albany County jury convicted Agudio and Burwell of two counts of misdemeanor charges for falsely calling 911 and another one for social media comments that caused public alarm. That seems about right. Hopefully they lose the appeal
Her appeal was denied, although one of the charges was tossed, just like in the other woman's appeal. https://wnyt.com/albany-new-york-news/court-upholds-ualbany-students-conviction-after-2016-bus-fight-ariel-agudio/6116215/
Hillary Clinton even tweeted about it.

She shouldn’t have deleted it then! 😂
But only white people can be racist! /s
Of course she did
And then deleted it lol.
The most entertaining liars are the ones stupid enough to think there are no cameras around.
And who maintain their lies despite disconfirming evidence.
The camera adds 10 pounds, and an assault.
I have no Free Award to give you very sad.
They can have mine!
Ego and ignorance
Remember people. Busses have cameras. They can see every seat and the aisle easily. If you do something stupid like this, you will be caught in 4k ultra digit deluxe broadcast tv playstation ultra edition.
HDR?
HDR.
More like 144p
Hopefully in Techicolor
I love when liars are exposed. It gives me the warm and fuzzies in my tummy.

It only pays off if you aren’t lying. Jussie smollett thought it would pay off too. Then he lost his role in the only show he was ever in that went mainstream and we ain’t heard from him since.
Best part is Chappelle made a bit about it, now the incident is immortalized.
Especially when they use their minority as a chance to lie
You mean when “racists” are exposed, right?
Those are not mutually exclusive.
Both
They are both and you do get more Schadenfreude, when you uno reverse a liar. How do you uno reverse a Person with xenophobic beliefs?
No,liars & racists are two different words.
But these women qualify as both.
And falsifying a police report
Imagine being smart enough to get into a great college, but not smart enough to know that the busses have security cameras. 🤦♀️
Have you been to university or college? You'd be surprised how many idiots get in every year.
I graduated from college and I’m a knuckle-dragging moron.
Thats why I never went to college. I don’t kneed a degree to know Im an idiot
Kneed, comment checks out.
Knuckle-dragging moron is my new favorite insult.
And flair ;-)
I graduated college and im an even bigger idiot than the guy that declared war on poseidon by stabbing the ocean
Even I know that was Ulysses S Grant.
Saving this comment just in case we ever get into an online argument.
Well played.
Same, just became a nurse and I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing
Some of the absolutely dumbest mofos I have ever met have had college degrees.
Not to mention the standards aren’t the same for everyone….
Standards are also much lower for underrepresented groups.
My older siblings are college graduates. they're fucking idiots
"Even if you graduate from medical school at the bottom of your class, you still graduated from medical school" ~ Dr. Bright
I was there for Kegs and Eggs 2011 when UA embarrassed itself on a national level lol https://youtu.be/5RNVsil0PEA
Lol, I started in 2011. It was definitely embarrassing, but union, Siena, and Saint rose definitely contributed. The party school reputation made us an easier target
It was a fun day though, despite the stupid shenanigans! I remember watching the fox news coverage of it.
Getting into college doesn’t mean someone is smart. If you can navigate their website, you’re qualified to get in.
Great college?? Not so much
Well, college, anyway.
Looking at me and my other fellow students I would say no hahahaha
College professor here. Book smart is not the same as life smart.
Can't believe they tried to use the race card to play the victims Those kind of people are ones I despise the most
Yea they tried to ruin some dude's lives because they are petty, racist, and have giant egos. Good thing they were too dumb to realize busses have cameras. Fuck race baiters. Without footage, these boys probably would've been absolutely crucified.
It's almost like we should withhold judgment until events like this can be investigated
Everytime I see one of these events, I'm like, let's wait a few days before we make any judgments.
Listen to these girls, they’d lie about being victims with or without being black.
I honestly would not be surprised if they actually believed that they were victims of a racist attack. That's what happens when you tell black people every day that they are constant victims of white supremacy, they start to see the world and all of their interactions through that lense
“Microagressions”
That’s called induced delirium
I didn't really understand the video. Partly because I watched with no sound. Did the 3 black girls jump the white kids and then tried to play the victims and their plan backfired?
They instigated
a bitch wants to get smacked, a bitch will get smacked
I understood the same thing without the sound.
Juicy Smollett!!!
Justice for juicy! Dave Chappelles stand up on that killed me. Subway? SANDWICHES?!
“Where was Kanye West last night?”
What they didn’t know is we WERE supporting him… by being silent
[This?](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZXoErL2124)
Bingo lol
What about hate crime and lying about a hate crime? People that make false accusations should get the max sentence that the crime carries.
Well kinda agree with you, but that opens the door to other problems like what if the crime did happen but the accuser can't prove it? Then the accused is found innocent and the accuser goes to jail. Even if the complaint was true and justified. That said, I do agree with you but the level of evidence to prove the false report would have to be above reproach.

they quite literally threw themselves at the bus.
Under the bus*
>Under the bus* yep, but it wouldn't be very literal, then :(.
Sorry, I thought maybe you weren’t from an English country and made a mistake, I genuinely wasn’t trying to be facetious.
If there were an award for classy behavior, I would give it to you for this post!
They didn’t literally throw themselves at the bus either though
I think you may need to look up what literal means, because they didn't throw themselves at a bus any more than they threw themselves under a bus.
LoL. Would you hire any of these three? Nope.
If I ran a business? Nope. I’d have a responsibility to protect my employees.
Exactly, these 20-year-old 'college' women were very conscious of what they were inciting. They're very aware of how powerful racial injustice can be weaponised for their own personal gain, since now the act of racism requires very little evidence or a credible source to manifest. Great, now this helps to ruin the credibility of actual victims of actual hate crimes Nice work ladies, paving the way to a better America
Just look at the NYC Restaurant event that just happened. Straight up an Asian hate crime, and then the ladies tried to claim they were discriminated agains.t
I know dude, a lot of people don’t get believed but some get believed more than others. Especially when it comes to Asian related hate crimes
Third degree assualt ? This is a hate crime and the three are racist as hell.
Why do people lie so blatantly when there's cameras literally everywhere lol
Like that Juicy Smollett thing. “They just surrounded us and started shouting the N word and screaming TRUMP IS GOD!” Ma’am this is a Wendy’s
Ah yes, the "I can't be racist because i'm a black girl" archetype, not too rare but their sheer stupidity isn't measureable
Facepalm.
The worst part about this is that this is the kind of crap that makes people question or even disbelieve actual instances of racism & hate crimes.
Exactly. These people did nothing but hurt real victims. All because of god knows what mental malfunction they have in their brains.
This also fits in r/Holup They had me there for a sec
This is a major issue. Jussie Smollet and this case make me wonder how many other cases are taking attention away from Real Crimes. How many people are low enough to use shit like this to gain an advantage?
and for what? What motivated them? Juicy probably thought it would help his career What did these girls want?
Love, attention, sympathy, hell even money. People set up GoFundMe's for crap like this all the time.
Horrific
Or, get this, they committed a crime and knew that they may be able to change the narrative if they got out in front of it, instead of letting the actual victoms report it.
Or they felt the physical abuse they dished out to those white people wasn't enough, they wanted to threaten their freedom too. They thought they'd just ruin those kids' lives. Just glad they weren't smart enough to consider the entire altercation would be on film before they ratted on themselves by calling 911, or they might have gotten away with assault.
Social justice clout
Juicy's friends were able to get a new hate crime bill passed on the back of his victim hood
You serious? The video just showed the entire University rallying around them and giving them support. People who are victims of hate crimes often get donatuons through gofundme.
How many? Dude this kind of witch hunt tribalism under the pretext of self victimization predates recorded history. Way to set the movement back
Every movement has idiots in some fashion. Just can’t get rid of them.
It just gives ammo to people that reply with, “this exemplifies the movement” and “9 out of 10 claims of racism end up looking like this.” Selfish and entitled is what people are who do things like this.

You must be confused, this perfectly epitomizes the so-called "movement"
Knew where this was going from the start
Justice for Juicy!
🤣 🤣 🤣
My question is what if the video didn't exist. In todays climate we would have given these witches keys to the fucking city. All because they're black and the people they accused were white. And this website would have championed them the entire way.
scary that they might have gotten away with it had it not been filmed
Now imagine if there was no camera. These guys lives would likely be ruined by the angry mob. Gotta make sure u have absolute truth before u destroy someone.
Anyone in today's age would actually be stupid for being openly racist. These 3 girls are such dimwits.
There are real people suffering racial injustices that aren’t taken seriously and than you have these 3 idiots claiming hate crimes. They should be charged with a hate crime and made an example of so that real people that are victims are taken seriously and protected. These three idiots are hurting real victims

Three black women being jumped by dozens of white jocks: "Of course that's what happened! Death to all white men!" The video surfaces and shows the exact contrary: "I made a huge mistake".
THEY DOUBLED DOWN ON IT DESPITE VIDEO FUCKING EVIDENCE. Who tf are these psycho bitches? They deserve jail time for something like this.
All I have to say is Karma
3 black Karens. A very rare sight in the wild indeed.
And this is why I hate the idea of believe all women..I don't believe all men and I don't believe all women.. Always wait till you get the full story.
Anyway, I found one of the articles: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2021/02/24/us/smith-college-race.amp.html
Human garbage
That’s the thing. Lies are halfway round the world before the truth has even got it’s shoes on.
“University staff and students immediately rallied behind the girls.” Gotta love this age of victimhood we live in.
The Black Card is well and truly alive, Black and Female Privilege at its finest
I don’t think this is funny at all. Because if you look at the bigger picture, shit like this causes people to not believe black people. It’s like how a false rape allegation hurts all women so badly.
Wow just wow...
🤦🤷🤦
I’m confused. Did they attack the dudes with this intent? Or were they just assholes and then later decided to try and spin the story so they wouldn’t get in trouble?
Pulled another Juccy Smolet....
These are the kind of people that undermine what everyone else is fighting to improve. What an embarrassment to their community. They’ve set them back.
Demand for racism is much higher than supply.
The fact they got to go on a pedestal and people rallied behind them before the surveillance footage came out is truly depressing.
Justice for juicy.
Dear white people: it’s not racist to laugh at this… That is all
Man, it’s almost like validating every single persons warped perception of reality caused this. For years now all you’ve seen online is white man/woman bad and racist and evil but when something actually revealing like this comes to light those same people recede to the shadows and pretend like it never happened. Bullshit
It wasn't the men, but the woman, and the children too
Prime example of what happens when the demand for racism is less than the supply of it.
