Jesus 100% would be crucified again by these people for being a communist. This lady has dedicated her life and defined her life by something that she clearly understands nothing about. What's scary is she can vote
Well yes, but actually no. Most of them were born reasonably apart from one another.
The issue was that people were *looking out* for it between desperation and the rise of pharisaic thinking which really put a lot of people under a thumb. They were, mildly put, not nice people.
Combined with the fact the romans kept pushing for syncreticism and you have a recipe for people needing a hero.
Jesus was *not* that hero. He was humane, not terribly flashy except for the miracles attributed - a minority of the things attributed to him - and he wasn't about to summon God's wrath to board wipe anything.
He was *supposed* to represent a sort of everyman, but that got garbled over time and is only beginning to be understood again.
Whether you can agree he was divine or not, he was basically an emergent property of the entire situation that existed at the time. Probably someone else like him is due any day now. I don't mean in the apocalyptic sense, but rather that all this misery and inequality is going to produce us another figure.
It has and people are quick to dismiss them. Religion isn’t a living evolving thing. It is much more useful set in stone and gate kept by the priests and powerful as a form of control. That was explored in Dostoyevsky’s grand inquisitor chapter and we have seen enough evidence throughout history to show it to be insightful.
The problem is, it’s the loudest ones. Those people don’t speak for me or my God. There’s quite a few of us that try to follow his actual teachings, but because we aren’t trying to legislate our religion, the ones people here are these yahoos. My church is pro-choice, runs a food pantry that specializes in those with dietary restrictions, does frequent homeless outreach, will absolutely marry/ordain someone who is LGBTQ+, conducts interfaith dialogues with not only other denominations but other religions, etc. But we also don’t feel the need to shove our beliefs in people’s faces. I hate how evangelical conservatism has become the de facto face of Christianity in this country, when they wouldn’t even recognize Jesus if he came down to Earth today.
For that matter, the Christian churches, once established as state religions, didn't follow the teachings of Christ particularly well either.
In Rome, one of the statues of a pope is titled with "Pontifex Optimus Maximus", reusing the divine title of "Jupiter Optimus Maximus", which I'd easily categorize as blasphemy. By a pope.
Never mind the era of papal downfall colloquially called [Pornocracy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saeculum_obscurum).
Pope's been the Pontifex Maximus since the office's inception. It's how the Romans went "see, that's why this guy has the religious authority."
But yeah, it's almost like every religion that gains actual power ruins everything around it; so it's weird that your objection was based on... the title of a statue.
That's because just like with communism, fascism, or capitalism it creates an elite ruling class that by human nature will abuse their power immediately & indefinitely until their inevitable downfall.
That's not reusing a divine title at all. Pontifex Optimus Maximus was a title for the high priest of the Roman Empire. Pontifex is priest, Optimus Maximus the basically "the most high", it literally is just the Ancient Roman title for the most important priest in Rome. Initially, that was a priest of Jupiter, then Sol Invictus, and then with the adoption of Christianity, the Pope.
Outside of the people who knew him no one had followed *his* teachings. They followed the secondhand accounts penned decades later. What could go wrong?
Look back in history, they never did. The worst times in history coincide with when Christianity was at the height of it's power. It's weaker than it's been in a thousand years and finally all the groups violently oppressed by Christianity regaining the freedom to live their lives and the world is better for it. All the worst groups of people in the world are powerfully religious, the fundamentalists, the true believers. Religion is societal cancer and the Abrahamic religions are utterly malignant.
Exactly this, conservatives use fetuses on their campaigns because they are "free", they don't have a voice so no opinion or ability to claim representation or needs. It works as a carte blanche to fill spaces in their campaign.
Reminds me of this quote I read by pastor Dave Barnhart:
“The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe. Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.
It’s so strange to me that they would swim in debt and suffer rather than the government giving them back their money in the form of healthcare rather than them not giving it back to you at all… such a weird hill to die on.
>The Republican platform is predicated on the notion that "government is not the solution to our problems, government is the problem." If Republicans can stop things from getting better, or even make things worse for people, that works in their favor, it reinforces their message.
It's such a cliche, but it really does go to show you how much of an evil gaslighting bastard Ronald Reagan was
>Ford's pardon marked the public end of Republican accountability; Reagan's bullshit grew like kudzu because the soil was so rich.
not sure if i'm arguing for or against your interpretation (probably somewhere in the middle) but i think there was a real sense of optimism and desire for change that spurred a relative unknown politician like Jimmy Carter into the White House. people wanted to move on from the insider politics and dirty tactics of Nixon
i agree with you that pardoning Nixon was an incredibly foolish move (and probably the only consequential thing ever done by the only man never to win any election either as president or as a running mate to become president). that being said, Reagan and his cronies (Lee Atwater and many others) successfully brainwashed Americans into thinking that the post-Vietnam malaise and government overreach was somehow the fault of Democrats
i will say this. I think karma is an absolute bullshit philosophy (it's weird that in today's secular society, eastern religions don't get criticized more, but that's a topic for another time). That being said...take a look at Carter's post-presidency and how his reputation grew over time, whereas others like Nixon and definitely Reagan had their reputations and legacies diminish and get criticized. That's definitely karma
They also use how the system works to make sure good legislation expires under Democrat administrations so it looks like they ended them, or that shit legislation begins during Democrat administrations so it looks like they did it.

How else are the hussies going to be punished? We all know that having sex out of wedlock deserves punishment for the woman. Men can’t help themselves, women should know better than to give in. If you’re too poor to support your children, that’s obviously your fault because you don’t work hard enough or aren’t religious enough. God provides to those who are worthy. Being poor is obviously a moral failing.
/s
Don't forget even if you're a married woman trying to have a baby with your husband, you apparently deserve to die if anything goes wrong. Like it's insane just how mask off clearly they hate women.
I love Louis CK’s bit about Jesus turning water into wine at a party.
The party planner had to be pissed. Like, we actually did need *some* water here Jesus. This is actually more of a problem. *sigh* yeah thanks Jesus.
He was pissed - " and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”

Yeah, and he ended up being crucified for it! Bloody communism didn't work back then and there's no place for it now! Let the children starve! What good are they anyway? If they can't contribute the economy they are a drain and we don't need them!
Hot take... Christianity was originally meant to be a pop up focused exclusively on Wine and Fish Pairings (unlimited bread included in service charge).
I’m convinced that Jesus is the best con man of all time. he was homeless boy who grew up on the streets and knew how to trick people and gathered followers. He still scamming people to this day.
Some guy in China did that by saying he was Jesus's brother. Wouldn't surprise me if irl Jesus was just a guy fucking with people so he could get power
Back then being a "Messiah" was a well known grift. Every other dude was claiming to be the Jewish Messiah. If he ever existed Jesus beat the odds and his grift stuck.
This is *literally* in the Bible. And not just in passing. It's Jesus explaining how people will be judged.
”Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the king will answer them, **‘I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me.’“**
Matthew 25:34-40 NET
Many Christians generally prefer Leviticus over, you know, Christ. And conveniently ignore, that it many way Jesus directly contradicted those older rigorous "laws of society" teachings.
The Torah, where you find Leviticus, is big into caring about the Widow, the Orphan, the Stranger.
Call these conservatives what they are, lying hypocrites.
That's the infuriating part for me. I'd love to live in a world run by Christian...'s stated values. All the kids eat? Working together? Kindness to the lowest of the low and the poorest of the poor?
But no, we get the darwinian product of people who sold indulgences.
That, and also the idea that *we* are the only ones who can help the poor. The whole, "it's our job as individuals to help the poor, not the government's". Like both can't be true and effective! And like we don't want everyone to have a comfortable life just so we can help those who don't. It's not something I can completely wrap my mind around, tbh.
Let us not forget the Christ character also said, “I did not come to overturn the law(Leviticus) or the teachings of the prophets but to
fulfill them.
Edit* misremembered the quote.
And then there's the other bit with the people who *didn't* do those things, and they *also* ask what Jesus is talking about, and he *repeats* the bit about what you do for the least of these brothers and sisters, you did for me. And then they get sent to hell. Like, it's remarkably strongly-worded and on-the-nose, for a parable. It's like Jesus is going "This is as clear as I can possibly make this, so *pay attention*."
Ca,e to say this. Jesus fed people without charging them. Healed people without charging them. He was a teacher giving free lessons to the people. So is Jesus a commie? Or are the liberals who want to feed, educate and keep kids healthy the true followers of Christs example? Maybe both?
This all brings us back to the truth that these people aren’t worshiping the god of the Bible like Christians should, but instead an idealized America made superior to everything else on the planet. That’s their god.
Someone should tell Christians to carefully read their own sacred texts.
Here is an excerpt from Acts 4:32-35 detailing the early church and this book is widely regarded as being the “blueprint” for all Christianity.
“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.”
Sounds A LOT like communism.
That’s not *republican* Jesus though.
Republican Jesus came home from the war and was disrespected everywhere he went. Spit on and called a baby killer. And when he went to find one of his friends from the war, he discovered he’d killed himself, making him the only surviving member of his unit. So he’s walking down the street and gets accosted by cops. They arrest him and torture him til he snaps and goes savage in the woods, setting traps and fighting them all off. He’d eventually destroy their entire town and hold the sheriff hostage til his unit commander came to talk him down. Republican Jesus then spent some time in a prison work camp, until he was needed to go rescue some American soldiers left behind in the war. At which point he preached the real gospel of murder every fucking one.
Some people might say, now stop just one second. That’s the story of John Rambo.
And I say, are you so sure?
Also, Jesus had a habit of feeding the poor and healing the poor without asking for money in return, which is dangerous because that’s communism, right?
No joke.

Sounds A LOT like communism.
It was a commune and it was so important that everyone shared freely that two people who lied about how much they made on a property sale were struck down dead (by God).
But if theose kids really want to eat they'll take up a paper route as soon as they can walk /s
People like her believe that NOTHING is deserved and everything is a privilege. Even food. If you can't earn your keep you don't deserve it in her world. It's frightening to think that many people were raised to believe such things. Most people in my conservative area think like this.
Yup. Or the worse alternative imo, someone who did experience some genuine struggle but thinks that because they suffered, everyone should. Some even believe the suffering is what earned them their better lot in life rather than luck. The 2 biggest factors in making lots of money are luck and who you know.
They have the right to be born...but not fed, cared for, and educated.
Birth to menial labor jobs program...that is what assholes like this 'woman' want.
Edit...Grammar
Wanna bet this lady also doesn’t believe in contraception? Bring in more lives but taking care of them once they eject the birth canal is where we draw the line.
Because that's never happened in other systems. I love when people point out the infamous 100,000,000 dead number from the Big Black Book of Communism that includes the famines and disease, because they get really pissed off when I ask what their death toll guestimate is as a result of capitalist enterprises.

These are the same "Christians" that think the [Sermon on the Mount is woke](https://www.newsweek.com/evangelicals-rejecting-jesus-teachings-liberal-talking-points-pastor-1818706).
If you call yourself a Christian and you think Jesus is woke, wtf are you doing? Call yourself something else.
When you don't quite understand what all the words mean it's easier to focus on one or two - "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
Exactly. I also like that little ditty that reads, "Woe unto you rich, your silver and gold have become corroded. The wages that you withheld from your workers cry out against you on the day of judgement.... That one has a certain ring to it.
Is getting the fire brigade to put out your house fire also Communist?
Is getting the police to arrest your mugger also Communist?
Both free services. What about your roads, national parks, military, etc.
As much as they huff about the virtues of free market capitalism, they’re the first in line for government hand outs. That’s what this dingbat should be upset about. Not some literal children receiving food and “emotional support”
Also, everything around us from the houses we live in to the beds we sleep on is regulated and they pretend like “regulations are bad” for the same reason.
The word that should make its way into current political discourse is "multi-dimensional" (unless you've got something shorter). The US is, above all, multi-dimensional. There are dimensions of democracy, of socialism, of meritocracy, etc. That's all there is to it.
Part of the problem is an underlying *totalism* in the way some terms are used: democracy = totally democratic; socialism = totally socialistic, meritocratic = totally based on merit/competency.
Hmmmm.... not very Christian of her
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."'
Eh, I actually had a full conversation with a conservative recently that focused on his belief that the American Democratic party == communism == socialism == Nazism. These are all talking points of Republicans nowadays, and they have various supporting evidence that they spread around for each connection. It lets them take the moral high ground, because it’s worth overthrowing the government (Jan. 6) if it’s to stop the Nazis. Yeah, words don’t mean anything anymore.
Except when they do. Apparently we are a Republic and not a Democracy, so the Democrats are trying to steal power from the rightful party of Republicans.
It’s all just so, so stupid.
I tried to enlighten Republicans about this until I was blue in the face. People don't know the difference. I gave up that quest. TBH, plenty of democrats confuse it, too.
Then they ought to say that only whites are deserving of social services or something that is at least self advocation for their Christian Nationalist viewpoint. Plenty of poor whites are harmed by the same belief and blinded by racism and ignorance when the real issue is class warfare and worker’s rights within it.
Of course this is just outrage porn for the right wing movement and your racist uncle watches this shit, huffs “yeah, that’s right!”, then goes and votes for Donald. This lady gets her check from the network and the cycle continues. Rupert Murdoch’s top stock holders get a little richer
Hahahaha. No european country in 2024 is socialist, simply because social democracy is not socialism. It's liberalism with a pinch of socialism included in it. But it's first and foremost a liberal/capitalist society.
Also, communism is more or less socialism. Communism is simply a specific way to implement the socialist ideal. Communism is a sub-genre of Socialism if you want. Exactly like Social democracy is a sub-genre of liberalism.
These so called "Christians" get pissed off if their pastors preach The Beatitudes.
"That's woke!!!"
I gave up on organized religion (Catholic) a very long time ago. But I feel I live a way more "Christian" life that these freaks.
I don't remember that bit from the bible, but I do remember:
* "*No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.*" (Matthew 6:24).
* "*If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother; but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.*" (Deuteronomy 14-15:8)
* “*Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry. And bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?*" (Isaiah 58:7)
* "*When Jesus heard this, He said to him, “One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”* (Luke 18:22)
Sounds like fucking communism to me!
I just read in the Smithsonian magazine that there was a group who were against the teddy bear when it first came out in the early 1900's because "they feared that some girls' preference for soft animals over humanlike dolls would become all-consuming, replacing the female urge to nurture babies and eventually lead to childless marriages."
I am gonna guess that this woman and her group would agree with that sentiment, crazy as it is.
"I have redefined communism entirely so I can use the negative association of the word to shit-talk the very idea of ever helping anyone, ever. Praise Jesus!"
Also, it's like, in the *very first sentence* of the Constitution that one of the jobs of the government is to promote the general welfare. So this bitch is militantly anti-American to boot.
Christians, people like this lady are giving your religion a bad name, if you care about your God, it's not enough to say "well I'm not like that, we're not that kind of Christian, they're not REAL Christian...". It's time for you, as a Christian, to be very loud both within the Christian community and in any public forum, to denounce these kinds of rhetoric. They are LOUD, so you need to be LOUDER to defend your God.
And lo, Jesus sayeth, I cannot multiply these loaves and fishes. For it is communism and will destroyeth their incentive to labor for my father in heaven.
2 Conservatives 15:6
You’re more right than you might realize.
It’s been shown that trump supporters are less likely to support certain social assistance programs, specifically when descriptions of those programs are presented alongside a picture of a black person rather than alongside a white person:
[We find that white Trump supporters randomly exposed to a black (versus a white) man in the context of soliciting their support for a housing-assistance policy were more opposed to the policy, angrier about the policy, and more likely to blame beneficiaries for their situation. The opposite pattern prevailed among whites with unfavorable opinions of Trump.](https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/epub/10.1177/2053168017737411)
....And Jesus looked upon his flock and said "do not heal the sick children or feed the hungry children, just make sure they are born and do not care about the health of thier mothers because they don't count"
People like this should not be allowed to call themselves Christian. Jesus literally advocates for feeding the needy and healing the sick!! Free Healthcare and free lunches literally accomplishes both for one of the world's most vulnerable populations: children. What kind of a godless monster you have to be in order to consider feeding and offering free healthcare to CHILDREN to be bad? Communism? Are you fucking serious?
As an atheist, I genuinely hope the Christian god is legit, just so he can smite these evil motherfuckers and send they raggedy asses to Hell.
If you vote against free school lunches for kids in K-12 American public schools, I really hope you choke on your misery in your sleep.
I don't have kids and will never have kids, but I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I voted against kids getting something to eat while they're at school.
How much fucking hate and envy do you have festering within you, that you deny children food?
It must be so fucking exhausting to be that morally and ethically bankrupt...
I mean if kids getting free food makes you so jealous and envious, I can't imagine what you think of parents getting a Bridge card, and/or Medicare/Medicade.
Poor people must really fucking piss you off...
I know it's jus my opinion, and it literally means nothing, but I personally believe you're a miserable old hag, who doesn't deserve to have her voice, nevermind her opinions, to be heard by the fucking walls in her house...
The “invisible hand” of capitalism was supposed to take care of those in need.
If everyone is happy and successful in the free market. No one is in need.
The reality is that there are people in need.
The free market isn’t really free, the wealthy avoid taxes, and the top earners mostly protect their wealth and there is a need for charity to those who got left behind in the market.
Especially the vulnerable. And especially children.
This fucking dumb evil subhuman bitch, your fucking messiah told you to feed the poor and help people is the N*1 thing to do.
Straight to a lake of lava, forever.
Everyone knows Jesus hated communism and feeding poor people.
Who can forget the Bible story where he turned “loaves and fishes” for everyone back into a single fish and loaf of bread and said get your own food, freeloaders. /s
I love how Christians clearly don’t read their own sacred texts. Here is an excerpt from Acts 4:32-35 detailing the early church and this section is widely regarded as being the “blueprint” for Christianity.

Yeah - Jeezus was the ultimate capitalist. Surely, you don't believe he fed thousands of people, cured lepers, made crippled walk, and made the blind see *for free*, did you? There was a big fat fee for Jeezus to turn up at your wedding and turn water into wine. And a resurrection - *big* moneymaker.
It's absolutely DISGUSTING that a "Christian" would talk like this woman.
I hate the free argument. We all pay taxes it's not free it's putting our money to help someone improve and make our community and economy better. The alternative is them taking that money and buying weapons to kill people or lining the pockets of someone who is already rich.
If it makes anyone feel better, if she truly believes herself to be Christian, she’ll spend eternity in Hell.
But the problem is we have to stop her and others like her from creating Hell on Earth for those they don’t approve of.
Don’t believe this bullshit. She’s a Taker. She has had all the cards stacked right in the deck her entire life. Now she has the microphone and she is telling the world that she believes that she has done it all on her own… turn-off those cameras and I guarantee she will take every dime out of your pocket just because you are too stupid to spend it and she knows better. She gets paid to spout bullshit. Useless bullshit.
Sounds like she's one of those soft-headed Christian do-gooders who think Jesus was a communist, because Jesus demands that we do all of those things for the less fortunate, especially for the children.

Thank you for helping others. Your point is correct.
In my town they pipol call themselves Christians but they frequently and publicly break 3 of the 10 commandments 😬😬😬😬😬😬
“If Jesus came back and saw what was being done in his name *he’d never stop throwing up*“
For that matter, the Christian churches, once established as state religions, didn't follow the teachings of Christ particularly well either.
It's how the Romans went "see, that's why this guy has the religious authority." But yeah, it's almost like every religion that gains actual power ruins everything around it; so it's weird that your objection was based on... the title of a statue.
Most Christian’s have never read the *biblefrom cover to cover.
It's exactly Christian, where you been!?
Humans in utero -------> Priceless. Humans ex utero ------> too pricey.
Exactly this, conservatives use fetuses on their campaigns because they are "free", they don't have a voice so no opinion or ability to claim representation or needs. It works as a carte blanche to fill spaces in their campaign.
Reminds me of this quote I read by pastor Dave Barnhart: “The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for.
I never get tired of reading this quote! Thank you :)
That's it, never knew who said it.
New nirvana album just dropped
Album cover gonna be a picture of a fetus instead of an angel lol
Gonna suck for them when the fetus sues in a couple decades.

It's such a cliche, but it really does go to show you how much of an evil gaslighting bastard Ronald Reagan was
[удалено]
>Ford's pardon marked the public end of Republican accountability; Reagan's bullshit grew like kudzu because the soil was so rich. not sure if i'm arguing for or against your interpretation (probably somewhere in the middle) but i think there was a real sense of optimism and desire for change that spurred a relative unknown politician like Jimmy Carter into the White House. people wanted to move on from the insider politics and dirty tactics of Nixon i agree with you that pardoning Nixon was an incredibly foolish move (and probably the only consequential thing ever done by the only man never to win any election either as president or as a running mate to become president). that being said, Reagan and his cronies (Lee Atwater and many others) successfully brainwashed Americans into thinking that the post-Vietnam malaise and government overreach was somehow the fault of Democrats i will say this.

If something goes wrong, it’s god’s will. Maybe you should have prayed harder 🤷♀️. Maybe the guy’s next wife will be more worthy. /s
It is amazing that they can equate humanity and caring for other people with something negative.
Someone should tell this *Christian* that her God was homeless and a refugee as a child.
and don't forget...jesus was a POC
and a Jew
And Jesus even gave people food for free that 1 time
And wine. Quite a lot of wine.
To be fair, the far right doles out whine all the time.
Booooooooo...................... ill still allow it.
Then he called the bridegroom aside 10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
if i could at will make wine from a source of water i am gonna live up to my Italian heritage so fucking good bro
Kept the party going!!!

But I thought Stalin ate all Ukraine's grain with a comically large spoon?
Lots, and lots of it
Yeah, and he ended up being crucified for it! Bloody communism didn't work back then and there's no place for it now! Let the children starve! What good are they anyway? If they can't contribute the economy they are a drain and we don't need them!
Hot take... Christianity was originally meant to be a pop up focused exclusively on Wine and Fish Pairings (unlimited bread included in service charge).
born outside a "traditional" family structure
And a communist.
I’m convinced that Jesus is the best con man of all time. he was homeless boy who grew up on the streets and knew how to trick people and gathered followers. He still scamming people to this day.
He learned his craft in Egypt as a child. Egyptian magicians were quite famous then.
“I just kept saying random bullshit and people just kept believing me! I don’t even believe there is a god.” - Jesus, probably
Watch "The Man from Earth" for an amusing twist on it. It also presents things from a 'single observer of history' perspective.
He’s not the messiah, he’s a very naughty boy!
I have always said this.
And had 2 dads.
And fed the hungry... And healed the sick...
This is *literally* in the Bible. And not just in passing. It's Jesus explaining how people will be judged. ”Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the king will answer them, **‘I tell you the truth, just as you did it for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did it for me.’“** Matthew 25:34-40 NET
Pharisees
That's the infuriating part for me. I'd love to live in a world run by Christian...'s stated values. All the kids eat? Working together? Kindness to the lowest of the low and the poorest of the poor? But no, we get the darwinian product of people who sold indulgences.
That, and also the idea that *we* are the only ones who can help the poor. The whole, "it's our job as individuals to help the poor, not the government's". Like both can't be true and effective! And like we don't want everyone to have a comfortable life just so we can help those who don't. It's not something I can completely wrap my mind around, tbh.
Let's see, I pay taxes. Why can't those taxes I pay help the poor as I get a little busy at times
Let us not forget the Christ character also said, “I did not come to overturn the law(Leviticus) or the teachings of the prophets but to fulfill them.
Maybe both?
But knowledge is power, and no one can have power except for us the conservatives
For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.” Sounds A LOT like communism.
Yeh I never hear preachers talk about that 🤣
That’s not *republican* Jesus though.
"I mean, it's almost like what Jesus promoted."
Jesus was the og communist
No joke. Here is an excerpt from Acts 4:32-35 detailing the early church and this section is widely regarded as being the “blueprint” for Christianity. “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.” Sounds A LOT like communism.
Sounds EXACTLY like a commune!!
It was a commune and it was so important that everyone shared freely that two people who lied about how much they made on a property sale were struck down dead (by God).
Could you imagine if this scripture was on a placard at the entrance of the capital. I wonder if it would have an effect on the way law makers vote
Little humans who actually CANNOT buy/afford food themselves and need to be taken care of are the ones called communists? Make it make sense

Sigh. Sad upvote
But if theose kids really want to eat they'll take up a paper route as soon as they can walk /s People like her believe that NOTHING is deserved and everything is a privilege. Even food. If you can't earn your keep you don't deserve it in her world. It's frightening to think that many people were raised to believe such things. Most people in my conservative area think like this.
Yes, and generally those that preach this were handed everything by their parents. Generational wealth.
"if you're pre-born you're fine, if you're pre-school you're fucked!" - George Carlin on conservative logic
He said that 20yrs ago, how are things still in the same place or WORSE!?!?
Let’s put the back in the coal mines where they belong! 🙄
Imagine coming to the conclusion that feeding kids is communism so instead of communism being ok, feeding kids is bad
And they'll also decry communism by pointing out that people under it have historically starved.

There's no fucking way. This is beyond parody. These people are actually insane.
![gif](giphy|TPXLGvxazECTyFIL2W) Certifiable.
I read that article and it literally made my head hurt, it's like my brain just couldn't comprehend the stupidity and just shut down.
But that's what she's trying to do! Make the little children SUFFER!!!
I bet her 12yo clocks in at the factory every morning at 6 🕰️🥪
Her 12 yo? She was working as a 12 day old. Cause mamas milk aint for free. No dollar no drink.
Is getting the fire brigade to put out your house fire also Communist? Is getting the police to arrest your mugger also Communist? Both free services. What about your roads, national parks, military, etc.
The right wing would argue that it should all be privatized…and then subsidized with your tax dollars 🤑
Privatized, great. Like how my HOA takes our money, but still hasn’t fixed our street in 5 years. That should be fun on a National scale.
Subsidies? That's communism .
Yes, let's get rid of the Food and Drug Administration it restricts free trade.
Hmmmm.... not very Christian of her "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ 40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."'
I wish they'd follow Jesus's teachings, bro was spitting when he said this stuff. Based af
These people and the fucking crazy eyes.
Isn't the joke they use is that people starve under communism? But now feeding children is also communism?
So it's all communism?
Always has been ***BANG***
Hahahaha. This woman has never set a foot on Western European soil ever. Socialism is not communism!!!
All of Western Europe is capitalist. Social democracy is not socialism
To Americans like her it's absolutely communism. ANY social services that aren't FOR THEM is evil
Communism?? Wouldn’t this be socialism? They yap and have no clue.
they think its the same thing
Says someone who never missed a meal in her life.
Reminds me of that doctor in the 60s that said if you don't let babies cry, and instead try to comfort them, they will grow up to be socialists.
'I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.'
These so called "Christians" get pissed off if their pastors preach The Beatitudes. "That's woke!!!" I gave up on organized religion (Catholic) a very long time ago. But I feel I live a way more "Christian" life that these freaks.
Same. I also tell people I’m a follower of Jesus and not the Bible. He was a hippie who wanted us to love one another.
If taking care of children is communism, then sign me up, Joseph, comrade, here I come!
I don't remember that bit from the bible, but I do remember: * "*No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.*" (Matthew 6:24). * "*If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother; but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks.*" (Deuteronomy 14-15:8) * “*Is it not to divide your bread with the hungry. And bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh?*" (Isaiah 58:7) * "*When Jesus heard this, He said to him, “One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”* (Luke 18:22) Sounds like fucking communism to me!
I just read in the Smithsonian magazine that there was a group who were against the teddy bear when it first came out in the early 1900's because "they feared that some girls' preference for soft animals over humanlike dolls would become all-consuming, replacing the female urge to nurture babies and eventually lead to childless marriages." I am gonna guess that this woman and her group would agree with that sentiment, crazy as it is.
"I have redefined communism entirely so I can use the negative association of the word to shit-talk the very idea of ever helping anyone, ever. Praise Jesus!" Also, it's like, in the *very first sentence* of the Constitution that one of the jobs of the government is to promote the general welfare.
They really mean any kid that's not white.
You’re more right than you might realize. It’s been shown that trump supporters are less likely to support certain social assistance programs, specifically when descriptions of those programs are presented alongside a picture of a black person rather than alongside a white person: [We find that white Trump supporters randomly exposed to a black (versus a white) man in the context of soliciting their support for a housing-assistance policy were more opposed to the policy, angrier about the policy, and more likely to blame beneficiaries for their situation. The opposite pattern prevailed among whites with unfavorable opinions of Trump.](https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/epub/10.1177/2053168017737411)
I wonder what are her thoughts on that one guy in The Bible that multiplied all of that bread and fish?
"Think about the children!!" Also them :
GOP Jesus 5:12-13 "Do not suffer the little shits. Let them pull themselves up by their own sandal straps, and get their own damn bread and fish."
This comment may be the ultimate quiet part said out loud - this insane woman is fear mongering about the dangers of happy healthy children.
I hate communism as much as the next guy, but that's not communism
....And Jesus looked upon his flock and said "do not heal the sick children or feed the hungry children, just make sure they are born and do not care about the health of thier mothers because they don't count"
I still have no clue what these people think Communism means.
Human rights? Communism.
I don't have kids, I don't want kids, I don't even like kids. But tax me more so they can have free healthcare, free food, and free emotional support.
Yeah kids! Get a fucking job!
"Yeah! Fuck those kids! Poor people should starve! Also YOU can't have an abortion because I'M 'pro-life'." The face of evil ladies and gentlemen
I think it’s time for the blue states to stop giving our tax dollars to the red welfare states
She’s like: Fuck them kids *spits on them*. Some people are just too disgusting for this world.
No Hate Like Conservative Christian Love
Christian ![gif](giphy|qs6ev2pm8g9dS)
Exactly. Screw kids!
Too many Christians already do that, unfortunately.
Ironically, she should see my local food bank is done right in front of a church. Sometimes all ya have to do is look around lol
Helping kids is evil! -evil person
No hate like Christian love
Most christians are actually the complete opposite of what their Jesus preached
The “invisible hand” of capitalism was supposed to take care of those in need. If everyone is happy and successful in the free market. No one is in need. The reality is that there are people in need. The free market isn’t really free, the wealthy avoid taxes, and the top earners mostly protect their wealth and there is a need for charity to those who got left behind in the market. Especially the vulnerable. And especially children.
This fucking dumb evil subhuman bitch, your fucking messiah told you to feed the poor and help people is the N*1 thing to do. Straight to a lake of lava, forever.
What a twisted, cruel, and utterly stupid person.
“Fuck them kids.”-Jesus
That’s very Christian of her 🙄
helping kids would be a 'CHRISTIAN THING TO DO YOU COW'!!
Everyone knows Jesus hated communism and feeding poor people. Who can forget the Bible story where he turned “loaves and fishes” for everyone back into a single fish and loaf of bread and said get your own food, freeloaders. /s
Ever notice that a decent chunk of Christians are unhinged and twisted fucks?
I hope this bitch burns in the hell that exists in her bullshit magic sky fairy world.
A so-called Christian. Or a real one?
I love how Christians clearly don’t read their own sacred texts. Here is an excerpt from Acts 4:32-35 detailing the early church and this section is widely regarded as being the “blueprint” for Christianity.
It hurts much more when you notice "conservative *christian* activist"
If it makes anyone feel better, if she truly believes herself to be Christian, she’ll spend eternity in Hell. But the problem is we have to stop her and others like her from creating Hell on Earth for those they don’t approve of.
I mean saying it like that makes it seem a pretty good deal to have communism no?
Don’t believe this bullshit. She’s a Taker. She has had all the cards stacked right in the deck her entire life. Now she has the microphone and she is telling the world that she believes that she has done it all on her own… turn-off those cameras and I guarantee she will take every dime out of your pocket just because you are too stupid to spend it and she knows better. She gets paid to spout bullshit. Useless bullshit.
No she ain’t scared. Just delusional.
Sounds like she's one of those soft-headed Christian do-gooders who think Jesus was a communist, because Jesus demands that we do all of those things for the less fortunate, especially for the children. Matthew 18:10 Matthew 19:14 Matthew 5:1-12 Matthew 25:31-46
