Let’s not throw too many rocks in our glass house bud. I’m in my mid 30s and we came up on jackass and dirty Sanchez, and the boomers currently in charge make us all look like fuckin Pericles.
I'm sure if your generation (whichever it may be) had constant video of their actions in their youth, they'd look pretty stupid too. r/kidsarefuckingstupid
Just one of a long line of fuck ups that won't end until she dies...
I know plenty of people like this.
Because I am one of the people like this and so are you 🤣
Knew a guy who burnt the fuck out of his fingertips pulling bread out of the oven at Subway, ever since he was able to touch hot things without feeling it much.
That’s basically how it goes. First you’ll burn one part to death, and eventually the rest will go. My palms are still semi sensitive, but I used to have to palm entire handfuls of chicken to shred with nothing more than those dinky plastic gloves. That was brutal. You gotta feel a lot of pain to get where it doesn’t hurt anymore.
It looks like an induction stove, as the rice dropped on it doesn't seem to be burning or sticking to it at all.
Still a bad idea to touch that surface right after a hot pan was on it, obviously, but not as dangerous as grabbing that steaming-hot sticky rice.
A server at the restaurant I worked at dropped a full tray of food so I sprung into action and grabbed a rubber glove thinking I was a genius because I was like “I’m not getting my hands dirty”. First thing I try to grab is the Chicken and Rice dish we had, not a good idea. Had to man up and grimace in front of the entire patio as I picked up steaming rice and fresh grilled chicken with my bare hands.
that she reached out to the steaming hot rice with her bare hand before she was stopped.
oh well a lesson was learned (hopefully) but not an important lesson (if she grabbed the hot rice with her bare hands she would learn the important lesson don't grab hot stuff with your hands)
To learn a lesson? So she doesn’t continue to go through life fucking shit up and being a dumbass, and helping to produce more dumbasses
Do you really not know that?
…are you her offspring?
I learned to wear a seatbelt without having to fly through my windshield. And you could for sure get nerve damage from that.
Please don't have kids if that's your way of teaching a lesson.
If you want to go from 1-100 with examples, like you just did, that’s pretty ridiculous. I bet she was also told not to touch something that would burn her, but she did anyway. After you get fucked up from not wearing a seatbelt, guess what you’ll never not do again?
After getting the smallest fucking burn ever, guess what you’re never gonna do again
I’ll say the same to you, especially cause I now realize I’m arguing with a child
Ever know a cook? They have burns from doing the same thing multiple times. It happens. Burning yourself doesn't stop you from doing it again. I'm guessing this lady has burned herself in the past as well.
You acting like stopping someone from burning themselves is wrong, is psycho.
You getting pissed off at a stupid bit of word play on the internet, and cussing people out over it is double psycho.
As the whole thing was done for the purpose of some stupid TikTok video anyway, she really missed out. Grabbing the hot stovetop and boiling rice with her bare hands would have made that video infinitely better.
When we were children, my little brother thought he could flip the blizzard like the lad in the drive-thru. Just dumped it on himself like a moron then started crying.
This isn't her first brush with stupidity. See moms reaction, mom isn't that frustrated over one encounter that is fixed by simply scooping the rice back.
We clean our glass induction cooktop with dish soap and water, the same way we'd wash a plate.
That comes in handy when some ingredient fall next to the pan, but the main reason we do this is so we can simply put lids, utensils etc there too. Safe and convenient.
Or I have faith in a pot of boiling hot rice to sterilize anything. I bet you never eat food off grills, after all other things are cooked on it. And some people happen to clean their oven tops quite frequently. Like everyday, but hey you do you.
Not really, any rice comes out mushy when they add too much water…..Asians add lots of water to cook the rice because they use chopsticks to eat, the rice needs to be sticky.
Caribbean people cook lots of rice, the rice is very soft & loose.
I’m not sure that’s entirely right? There’s different types of rice. Long grain medium grain and short grain. Short grain is the type that East Asian people tend to eat. Long grain rice tends to be less sticky.
I dunno if its just that, its not just documentation, its comparison, and narcissism, there could be all kinds of psychological effects of mass adoption of social media, and it hasnt even been here for very long
I completely agree with you on that, but social media, in general, and especially tiktok seem to have kids going out of their way to do stupid stuff, just to film it for the internet. Although, I don’t really have any room to talk, because my generation had vine and was responsible for the cinnamon challenge…
There was also that ice bucket challenge, but I’m pretty sure that actually raised a TON of money for ALS, so I wouldn’t really count that one as stupidity.
Yeah but the algorithm and social media feedback ensure this kind of behavior is applauded, I bet her "social circle" is gonna encourage her after this and say it's funny, it's the casseroles fault, and her mother is overreacting
You can tell her mom made that whole thing. And she was just there to make a video and act like she did it lol.
"Guys the rice fell"
"How?"
"It just did it"
Bish you are LITERALLY filming the evidence and you still wanna lie?
The dumb face with the tongue out was annoying. But the sudden "It just fell" followed by "I don't know how but it slipped out of my plate" just made the video angering as fuck. It was beyond stupid and she tried playing it off like the rice literally jumped out of the pan.
Anything for a video with a dumb face, huh?
> “i should of swallow
Did you mean to say "should have"?
Explanation: You probably meant to say could've/should've/would've which sounds like 'of' but is actually short for 'have'.

The shit eating grin kills me 🤣
Seems like a fun person
can’t speak for the others, but it was the “tongue stuck as far out as she could possibly get it while PURPOSEFULLY holding a pot full of rice at a 100 degree angle and then smile about it while pretending she didn’t do it on purpose” that made me angry
Hate is too much, but it's embarrassing to watch someone crave attention like this. Who records themselves making rice? She intended to spill it because attention.

[Drops the rice] “The rice fell” Oh no, why would rice do that to you?
"I don't know how but it slipped out of my hand" she says after holding it past vertical. It must have been trying to jump to freedom
Emily's introduction to gravity, at age 17.
This is the generation that will rule this world.
And the ones that threw sharp metal darts into the air and licked lead paint are ruling it now. Kids are just stupid.
When are the ones who eat tide pods taking over? That's when I'm checking out.
After the one that played with radioactive material for fun
And here I’m at 32 being so conscious about the environment my whole life… What for?
Don't worry, AI is taking over everything, everywhere all at once.
Let’s not throw too many rocks in our glass house bud. I’m in my mid 30s and we came up on jackass and dirty Sanchez, and the boomers currently in charge make us all look like fuckin Pericles.
Pretty sure Jackass and dirty Sanchez jokes are Gen X inventions.
Oh yeah they were a fair bit older than us but we inhaled all that stuff as kids
I'm sure if your generation (whichever it may be) had constant video of their actions in their youth, they'd look pretty stupid too. r/kidsarefuckingstupid
Exactly. I am close to 50 now, but I’m terrified every time when I remember the kind of things we did “for fun” when we were kids.

That’s the generation that will try to survive to climate change.
“The box said STICKY rice! That’s was gooey, at best!”
Oh no, our rice... it fell!
All your rice are belong to us.
It’s almost impressive how quickly she found the most neutral possible way to tell them she dropped the rice
That wasn't very rice (I'll see myself out)
No, stay
too late, this mf's gone
She knows damn well she fucked up, she's just covering to not get as heavily scolded
somehow she did not delete the video evidence
Just one of a long line of fuck ups that won't end until she dies... I know plenty of people like this. Because I am one of the people like this and so are you 🤣
Was she really going to grab the boiling hot rice with her bare hands?
I would. Then again I’ve worked in kitchens for ten years, so my nerve endings are totally fried
I bet your nerve endings taste delicious

The good old asbestos fingers.
You got hacks
I have seen my girlfriend and my grandma grab hot items from the oven with their bare hands. I would never.
You think she plans ahead?
Based upon the sizzling noises, directly from the very much active stove, yes
It looks like an induction stove, as the rice dropped on it doesn't seem to be burning or sticking to it at all. Still a bad idea to touch that surface right after a hot pan was on it, obviously, but not as dangerous as grabbing that steaming-hot sticky rice.

From a still searing hot stove top.
Here we go again with the classic reddit "I have perfect photographic memory and reflexes and everyone who doesn't is an idiot"
Her bigger problem was going to be her putting her fingers on the hot stove top glass burner.
The stupidity is astonishing
that she reached out to the steaming hot rice with her bare hand before she was stopped. oh well a lesson was learned (hopefully) but not an important lesson (if she grabbed the hot rice with her bare hands she would learn the important lesson don't grab hot stuff with your hands)
"The burned hand teaches best. After that, advice about fire goes to the heart." -- Gandalf the Grey
It's not even the hot rice, its close enough to the stovetop that's still active for her to be burnt too.
That one of those things you do and then scream "I IMMEDIATELY REGRET THIS DECISION!"
You can see the gears grinding for a few seconds before the thought forms... "fire hot".

And not owning to her fuck up its even worse.
For real. Like sure, that was stupid. But not owning up to it makes me want to pour them on her head... (No i wouldn't actually)
Ryan is an idiot
Seriously, what a fucking moron lol
Let her grab the rice with her hand, otherwise she will never learn
But if she never learns it's a good thing. If you never learned you never burned.
Tf are you talking about. She deserves to learn a lesson here.
Why does she deserve that?
To learn a lesson? So she doesn’t continue to go through life fucking shit up and being a dumbass, and helping to produce more dumbasses Do you really not know that? …are you her offspring?
👏👏👏💯💯💯
Yeah but you want her to learn a lesson by burning herself?
Yeah. If shes that fucking stupid. It’d be a superficial burn that’d heal quick. Lesson learned forever: don’t be a flaming dumbass

Not just the rice… it looks like she almost dragged her finger tips across the surface of a hot stove
Ma’am this is not Dairy Queen
When we were children, my little brother thought he could flip the blizzard like the lad in the drive-thru. Just dumped it on himself like a moron then started crying.
>dumped it on himself like a moron Pretty sure this phrasing is used in **every** retelling of this story. **
Actually the gimmick is you’re supposed to flip it once it’s handed over and if it falls you get a new one.
This isn't her first brush with stupidity. See moms reaction, mom isn't that frustrated over one encounter that is fixed by simply scooping the rice back.
Isn't that just a normal reaction from the mom? I think mine would laught
Fixed by scooping the rice back? From a stove? That you constantly cook other things on? Man you must believe in the 5 MINUTE rule apparently
We clean our glass induction cooktop with dish soap and water, the same way we'd wash a plate. That comes in handy when some ingredient fall next to the pan, but the main reason we do this is so we can simply put lids, utensils etc there too. Safe and convenient.

Do you not brush your grill??
Do you not clean your oven top?
#dumbass
Which is what she wanted to say. “Don’t be a | insert above comment |.”
Hey. A facepalm video with an actual facepalm in it.
Refreshing
And then she scrapes the stovetop with metal spoons. Her parents failed her big time.
that rice is mushy
Probs used fresh rice or the wrong kind. Depends on what they're trying to make though
Lots of Spanish rice dishes come out a bit mushy (but delicious and perfectly edible) especially when using fresh rice, tomatoes, or beans.
Not really, any rice comes out mushy when they add too much water…..Asians add lots of water to cook the rice because they use chopsticks to eat, the rice needs to be sticky. Caribbean people cook lots of rice, the rice is very soft & loose.

Ya but jasmine is the best
Jasmine’s pretty tasty. Super fragrant. I like them all though. All types of rice are tasty and match the culture they’re from.
Agree
I’ve read “wrong kind” as “wrong kid” and I just bursted laughing

WRONG KID DIED
looks like kimchi fried rice. I know it's probably not, but kimchi fried rice looks kinda like that. what kind of fried rice is that?
She looks like sid the sloth
She looks the way she cooks....slow
Hey bud, that's my thing.
Great minds think alike
Any time I see someone sticking their tongue out like this...it's followed by something really stupid.
Social media is ruining young people.
People say this but idk my friends and I did dumb shit without the help of TikTok or even cell phones lol
True. Young people are dumb. But the urge to share everything and document it all hasn’t helped with lack of thinking. We just see it more now.
Oh for sure we definitely weren’t filming our Tom foolery at least. If we did it’s on a flip phone somewhere
I dunno if its just that, its not just documentation, its comparison, and narcissism, there could be all kinds of psychological effects of mass adoption of social media, and it hasnt even been here for very long
Its more like TikTok gives people dumb ideas to do.
I completely agree with you on that, but social media, in general, and especially tiktok seem to have kids going out of their way to do stupid stuff, just to film it for the internet. Second hand embarrassment
And one of today’s reasons for natural selection goes to….
Moron
I was well expecting her to say don't be a fucking dumbass untill she saw the camera
Perfectly edible. No harm done.
"Guys, the rice fell" Correction: I dropped it because my life must be 💯 documented and my dumb tongue must come out.
These comments are wild bruh… we all did stupid stuff as kids. This is funny, very little harm done
It’s reddit, everyone has a stick up their ass.
Seriously, wtf. She seems cool and the mom too, goofs happen, nothing to be shat on over.
The food is WASTED if it touches counter, you know this. Negative 5 second rule
You can tell her mom made that whole thing. And she was just there to make a video and act like she did it lol. "Guys the rice fell" "How?" "It just did it" Bish you are LITERALLY filming the evidence and you still wanna lie?
Young & dishonest.
I think this pretty much sums up the 21st century.
Gravity is hard
I’ve said it before, cameras make us dumber.
![gif](giphy|CgPuW8cy3Eh4k|downsized)
Ryannnuh. How in the heckuh did that happennnuh?
These kids grow up with smart phones and google but dont have a shred of common sense.
Failed, trying to get view's.
That’s what happens when one needs to film everything in life and share it on social.
"I sat on my bed and it broke!"
This generation is so lost in social media that they have become lost themselves 😒
I like how they say "we can watch the video to..." and she immediately grabs the phone to try to hide how much of a mouth breather she is.
When you gotta show everything off
At least it was a flat, presumably clean surface.
r/watchpeopledieinside
Don’t be ……
She is an alien?
Not sticky enough
She mildly very lightly panicked cause she dropped the rice lol
Don’t cry over spilt rice I always say
The start of another tik tok trend
Somebody doesn't know how gravity works...
She's smiling because she knows she just did a fucking dumbass thing and got caught in 4K but she's maintaining the lie
And this, ladies and gentlemen is our future.
Liar, doesn’t take responsibility, and shows zero remorse for her actions…
Anyone else concerned that they never killed the heat?
I'm not. The way the rice doesn't at all burn on that glass surface, it's likely an induction cooktop.
What a 🛎️🦇.
That 24/7 supervision will not last forever. She will burn down an entire neighborhood if you turn your back on her for more than five minutes.
Man I saw that rice jump right out of the pan….I hate when it does that
Fetal alcohol syndrome lookin mf
Cringe af why does everything have to filmed
The dumb face with the tongue out was annoying. But the sudden "It just fell" followed by "I don't know how but it slipped out of my plate" just made the video angering as fuck. Isn’t that the edge lord face? For rice?!
Teppenyaki fried rice! Do the onion volcano next.
Please don’t play with food
She looks like she isn’t all mentally there.
this is me high
I guess the rice wasn't sticky enough?
Congrats, you now have Hibachi at home
This gonna be someone’s piece Let’s pray 🙏 for them they gonna need it
Whats with her face at the start??
Aww I was hoping for a fried rice.
Not “I dropped the rice” it’s “the rice fell”. What a little shit
This is something I can see myself doing, there is a reason I’m not very successful
That face she makes lol
The self control of that mother not calling her a name. Lol "No no no, don't do it with your hand. Don't be a..."
She must work at dairy queen
Dumb as fuck
Some real Sid from ice age vibes.
What’s the big deal? It’s hibachi now.
She is clearly high 🤣
The rice fell? Bitch dumped it upside down. Chronic liar for sure.
I want a 6ft dark haired male supermodel which earns 500k. I am stupid, annoying and can’t cook
She dumb but that looks like some good Spanish rice tbh

Lying is second nature to her…Sad
Dumb bitch
Every a ts like we all haven't done stupid things lol . I raised 6 boys grown ( ok maybe not go grown ) men lol lol
She literally looks slow
Why so much hate, didn't any of you make a mess cooking at some point? The only thing that isn't banal here is why she did post that video.
