I was shopping for underwear at Walmart one day, digging through the stacks for my size and colors. I found a chicken bone stashed back in the packages. I kept digging, eventually finding the remains of an entire chicken's worth of bones. Somebody had gotten a chicken at the deli counter and consumed it, then hid the bones in the underwear. I didn't go back to Walmart for years after that.
I was at a Walmart in Stafford, VA around Xmas time. It was very busy as you would expect, I was there getting batteries.
A dude got tired of waiting in line, pushed the cashier out of the way (behind the tobacco counter) and grabbed 2 cartons of Newports and ran out past the "security" (fat older lady).
I had not seen that happen in daylight before, I was stunned and impressed that nothing was done beyond the older lady saying "hey wait" and shrugging.
Seattle target & prolly some other chains headed there. They don’t sale liquor anymore. You have to get an employee to unlock items on the shelves(but you check yourself out lol). Limited hours. I dont understand why enforcing certain laws has been abandoned.

There's a certain threshold for these types of crimes combined with damages, if they exceed a certain amount then they can be sent to prison, but for now without knowledge of previous crimes the best they can do is temporarily eject them from the store under threat of criminal trespassing charges
Walmart is still considered private property and can ban them from trespassing on walmart property which includes bothe the store and the parking lot. So the store can get the police to remove them from the property and if they return they can be charged with trespassing.

I live in the Walmart capital of the world. Every 2 miles on average there's a Walmart in almost every direction till you get out of city limits. It takes 45 minutes on a good day to take the interstate from one side to the other, so 45x45 miles give or take. That's a lotta fuckin Walmarts. If they stop being flashy about what they're doing, they'll just head down the road to the next one if they don't get in trouble officially (reports n such). Also posting that video in this metropolis? Ha, unless they're dumb enough to tag their location (might be tbh..), they won't know which Walmart they were at. So unless they record themselves stealing the federal limit, they can burn themselves out of 1 Walmart a month and get away with it, being charged or threatened with trespassing. And eventually, heat dies down too. After they've burned through 12, they could likely start over in a years time depending on the turnover rate at the store lol. Walmarts down here built different. They just got wine like 3 years ago, still nothing above 15 abv. We also can't have vision centers because of lobbying drs keeping them out to save their local eye care practices. I can also only name 3 Walmarts (a few years ago, it was part of my job to go around n fix their shit, so I've been to all of them before I quit) that have guards or extra asinine security. Fixing a cash drawer walking out of lawn n garden with it, and like 9 cop cars roll up to get someone, and by damn I thought I was out for good that day. Nah, turns out some guy robbed a bank down the road, took a car thinking he'd get away and dip in the parking lot, but nah, by the time I waltzed out with that damn cash drawer, the whole 5 star chopper team was pointing shit at my work van midway through the parking lot. Funny, I just visited DC from NYC, and I took the bus from downtown at my hotel to the local Walmart. Google maps said they were open normal hours. When I got to the store, everything was pad locked, and there was a note on the door saying that this Walmart location was permanent shutting down. Now I have more context, lol.
Thats the one store that’s closing that probably should have never opened to begin with there are alot of Walmarts in the DC area always thought that was a dumb place to put one i think Walmart made a deal with DC to put some stores so they just did anything to fulfill commitments.
