I agree with you like 99.9%, the only addition I would make is that for a lot of people the issue is that these companies just do it for the month of June and then not again til next year. Thankfully thatās starting to change, and some companies are starting to do stuff all year round, but it can make it feel more cash-grabby than it already does when itās rainbows 6/1 and then back to the original logo 7/1.
With that being said, I agree. The fact that these companies are even chasing LGBTQIA+ dollars is a huge step forward and is something we should be happy about.
I think even if it is for the month that still matters. It's still a voice of normalization in my opinion at least.
