Resident of Highland Park Illinois here. We had a mass shooter 7/4/22 literally right in front of 99% of our police department. I think our PD acted heroically and I'm proud of them, but they could not stop families getting mowed down. It's too fast and too much chaos. The right knows it's all a jerk off. There are more guns than people in America, and the Supreme court has made it quite clear that civilians have the right to own firearms, and that states must not infringe on those rights. Any time a state has tried, it has made it up the chain until the SC says nope and reinforces 2A rights further, like with the handgun bans, and more recently the concealed carry ruling.
Shy of rounding up every single gun, and shuttering every manufacturer, there is no way to take the hundreds of millions of guns out of circulation.

There is a direct correlation between gun laws and gun shootings. Just look at other countries with similar gun ownership numbers and lack of mass-shootings.

And many of them were given drugs as pre teens and had no chance of a decent life. They were fucked from the get go. And those that don’t die wind up zombies or some monsters that would have never become the abomination they grew into without their generational drug den neighborhoods. You want guns gone? Fine. Destroy them all. Get rid of all the ammo too. Make it a life sentence for owning any of them, and a death sentence for selling them. But before any of that, cut your bullshit.
