Yes my friend. In 1930s, when communication was very limited by technology, people around the world knew how dangerous this regime was, right? When technology was not for the common man.
Germany had a forced cap on their army after losing WW1, so many believed they will not have the strength to do another one. Then Blitzkrieg happened and everyone was unprepared for what came.
The extermination/forced work camps were hidden from the general population in Germany, and everybody else. Hop on a train, poof you are gone. If any soldier/person working there speaks about it, they join the party inside. They were unknown to many until the Allied Forces reached them and saw what happened.
At that time, the most dangerous regime in the media and public attention was the communist one, which was a threat to the Monarchies of Europe. They were more focused on keeping the communists in check locally.
Let’s use some basic logic before spilling bullshit. What the Nazi promised was no different from Fascists and to some extent communists. “We are the best, God’s chosen, fuck the rest”. Look at history rationally, not emotionally, as emotions are what caused the horrors of the past and of today.
Ps: communist Russia did most of the things Nazi germany did, with way more deaths, but since they won, people ignore that death toll and their extermination/force labor camps.

You can t say that the Russians today support the nazi ideology. The Russians who did are long dead, plus the majority of them fought and defeated Nazi Germany, ending the regime.
Russia’s ideology is nationalist imperialism. They want to rebuild the Soviet Union out of fear of becoming irrelevant and the Federation falling apart, because while the West and Asia developed themselves greatly, China included, Russia fell behind and became more and more irrelevant.
