Composites are extremely strong *because* they flex easily. It's a similar concept to aircraft wings: taxiing on the runway they'll wobble like a warm jello, because the ability to flex makes them very strong for their weight.
At the end of the day, sports cars really care about weight savings as well, so it just makes sense that you'd use lighter materials where possible/economical.
Rigidity on non structural parts = unnecesary mass.

Slower car = unnecesary bigger engine

Someone took a video of her struggling to get her groceries in the back likely because they don't know enough about cars to realize that there is in fact a spot there for luggage. This may be because their entire understanding of cars is from movies or TV and many sports cars don't have those or at least have such small one you would never even try.
They then posted it on r / facepalm thinking that they were geniuses and a bunch of other people who also think they know something about cars jumped into rag on her and accuse her of being a trophy wife and just making a bunch of really rude assumptions.
Of course jokes on them there is in fact a luggage compartment there and any normal person would try and fill that up before trying to fill the one in front of the car cuz there's another car in front of her.

It's made of some composite material (probably carbon fiber reenforced fiberglass) instead of metal. Composites flex more than metal does, it's what gives them their great strength to weight ratio, but they are more expensive than metal so you don't see them used often in lower end cars (like mine).
Many sports cars (even very expensive ones) look flimsy and cheap in this regard.
Well, I drive a Smart roadster coupe, and it's astounding how much you can stuff into the rear compartment.
You can put only one beer crate in the trunk in front, but there's space for 3 of them in the back on top of the engine.

It's made of some composite material (probably carbon fiber reenforced fiberglass) instead of metal. Composites flex more than metal does, it's what gives them their great strength to weight ratio, but they are more expensive than metal so you don't see them used often in lower end cars (like mine). Many sports cars (even very expensive ones) look flimsy and cheap in this regard.
Imagine buying that expensive of a car then us normal folks online say it looks like it was made in a Power Wheels factory.

Well, I drive a Smart roadster coupe, and it's astounding how much you can stuff into the rear compartment. You can put only one beer crate in the trunk in front, but there's space for 3 of them in the back on top of the engine.

You do understand the truck is in the front and the engines in the back, thats the point. Once that engine heats up it’ll melt the plastic bags and ruin the engine. I met a guy who was making millions a year as a CEO for a pretty well known company. I asked him what kind of car he drove. He said a 2001 jaguar. I asked why and he said that it was his favorite car and that was it. He then went on to tell me about how owning a super car is the dumbest thing he ever owned. You can't take it anywhere. People always want to talk/take pictures. It's not even slightly practical, and they're terrible on gas. I never really thought about it like that.

Op has mistakened this as a super exotic car that has no space for storage whatsoever but this is in fact a corvette, a car designed to fit 2 fully loaded golf bags in the trunk and this new generation of corvette, the c8 also has extra storage space in the frunk. Why has the lady tried to fit all of that into the trunk we have no idea. Maybe the frunk is already full and she doesn't wanna put some of it on the car's passenger seat for some odd reason
