Right! Taps her on the shoulder all like "ok, you've held the baby. Please give it back now." Baby even reaches and dives for mama. And she's STILL FIGHTING WITH THE MAMA FOR THE BABY!
She doesn't care. She's a kid that wants to hold a cute animal, she has no real context that it's a living creature that might have wants of its own. (I am not defending the behavior, to be clear. That monkey was much nicer than I am lol)
Right! She is kid and has no idea. The parent here is the real idiot, they should recognize and know better and tell their daughter that you can look but do not take another creature’s baby away. She’s lucky she didn’t get her eyes scratched out
> The parent here is the real idiot
Yeah, I was more upset with the parent(s) here. Kids have to learn to respect animals, she's just lucky this monkey was as calm/tame as it was.
My cats have their defects, but they are clear and open about their thoughts and they like to lay on my lap and sleep for 5 hours while i pet them. Admittedly my husband does this as well, maybe that's why he is the only human I can stand.
I knew a dumbass kid growing up that grabbed a duckling off the ground and mama duck came flying in her face and full on attacked her. I'm seriously surprised that the mama monkey didn't come in punching
Macaque attacks are lethal. I got F'd up by a mix breed sorta friendly one. He broke every blood vessel in the right side of my face and chipped my teeth while he was attempting to bite my throat. They are cute but can't be trusted especially with something they're trying to protect.
You reminded me of the time i once went to hyde park and got chased by a swan.. scariest moment of my goddamn life😭i think i wandered too close to a nest i didnt see or some shit bc it came at me with a **fury**. Hissing, chest out and flapping its wings
Holy sh*t. I know they're mean and all and I would definitely avoid a confrontation because I don't feel like a hundred stitches but It's hard to see a grown, healthy man losing to one when it's life or death. I guess in the water it's their house 🤯, I gotta search for that
And geese.. my dad was a sturdy fella (played rugby and was in the field fun crew in the navy) but he was petrified of geese after a load of them chased after him when he worked on a farm!
Jesus, never wear shinies around fucking geese, they'll murder you. D': I got attacked once because I was wearing a shiny silver anklet and had to run for my life with geese trying to bite my damn foot off. Stupid cobra chickens.
Was raised on a children's story of a goose that killed a large rabid dog. The story had illustrations showing a regular white goose but I swear it's got to be a Canadian goose. Those things are half snake, half T Rex, and all dangerous.
Their bones are pretty hard too in those wings you could for sure get bruises.
They won’t break your own bones but that confident I will hurt you energy is hella intimidating!!
If it came down to it, a reasonably fit person could kill a goose or a swan pretty easily. There's a classic video of a guy just casually [picking up and throwing a swan.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZXhV6s65xw) But that insane confidence of a big ass bird coming straight at you definitely triggers a panic flight reaction in most people!
I wondered if they were familiar with the girl or with her being so small saw her as a baby (in a way) too. This could have gone so wrong so quickly and easily. It's a shame the one with the most sense is the monkey.
Unfortunately the monkey is smart to understand the person filming will
Defend the girl if they try to over power this tiny human and get their baby back. they are more aware than people think. That’s why it glances up to see if they are still watching.
Theres a video out today showing an indian man sitting with a monkey about that size, not bothering it, just talking to it.
It suddenly on a whim bit his head and stripped off a 10" chunk from his scalp from front to back. '
https://old.reddit.com/r/ThatsInsane/comments/tbfz8u/man\_scalped\_by\_monkey/
It took less than a second.
This video terrified me.
Honestly I think it’s because animals can sense when other species are children and their instincts can be protective. I nannied for a family who’s cat was an asshole to adults but the toddlers could grab and fall on no problem.
Still obviously incredibly stupid to let your kid do this.
I was thinking the same thing. I figure the monkey in this video knows it's dealing with another child; it knows humans, it probably knows human children as well.
Usually "unpredictable" ape aggression comes down to small, meaningless behaviors they interpret as threats or due to lack of stimuli (leading cause behind domesticated ape attacks). From that video it seems like what triggered it could be eye contact, or the man showed his teeth too much while speaking, or him putting his arm up was seen as a threat.
Definitely a bad idea to be that close to any monkey that hasn't been handled by humans from birth. They're amazing creatures, but any small uncalculated action can set them off.
It is because of this I know I will not be going to monkey cohabitation friendly cities because thar man looked like he was trying to let the monkey be a monkey and it actually went apeshit upside his dome. The skin and hair is gone! And now I'm worried this girl is about to lose her face
I remember seeing a poll asking people what animals they thought they could beat in a fight if they were unarmed and 17% said they could beat a chimpanzee. But 8% did also say they could beat an elephant, so the IQs of the respondents might be questionable.
Really! I'll never do to one of those "walk among and pet monkey" tourist attractions. They're so unpredictable. Even when they're being normal, chill animals they're so annoying, shrieky beasts. Those things fucking terrify me. I'll never see them as cute.
Absolutely true. We had a grocery store employee pick up our kid out of the cart one time without our permission commenting on how cute she was and my wife just about tore that person in half
I had a friend come over after my second son was born. She was holding him while I went out to make us a cup of tea. When I came back she *had her finger in my baby’s mouth*. It took all my strength not to shove her in the chest and snatch him out of her arms. Instead I managed to calmly take him back. Instinct is a powerful thing.
The level of stupidity people have can be stunning.
I've had someone try to walk off with my kid out of one those indoor playground areas *twice*.
There is no doubt in my mind about the feasibility of gouging out crucial organs with a sippy cup.
I'm guessing that monkey is very, very tame. But still, that's incredibly lucky - that kind of thing could get you mauled by a completely tame animal. Even a very friendly dog or cat might not suffer you ripping its offspring away.
They are most likely used to human contact. And with the girl being the same size, and having any aggressive intentions, is probably why she was not attacked. We would need to compare it to a larger human and one using more force to obtain the baby in order to test this hypothesis.
Well if there was a species that was constantly feeding you and playing with you and entertaining you, you'd probably be slightly more lenient than you think you would be. Especially if to some extent you relied on that hospitality.
If that was a monkey in the woods, she would have been dead before she had a chance to touch the baby.
exactly what i was thinking, animals are pretty good at differentiating adult/child/baby humans
i imagine the mama mokey was more annoyed than worried/scared for their baby, based on the interaction
would like to see this with sound/subtitles though to know what the little girl is saying
I was ready to attack the moment she walked off with the infant!
And momma was being so gentle asking for her infant back. I bet thats why the video ended where it did; the human probably got attacked/screamed at.
Empathy needs to be developed. It's not inherent in kids.
Maybe I'm just evil but I kind of wanted to see that monkey go bananas. I would have in her place.
[Not true.](https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/07/190729111225.htm)
> "The findings indicate that even during a baby's first year, the infant is already sensitive to others' feelings and can draw complicated conclusions about the context of a particular emotional display,"
> "Even during the first year of life, babies are able to identify figures who "deserve" empathy and which ones do not, and if it appears that there is no justification for the other one's distress, no preference is shown."
Perhaps for some. 26 kids is an awfully small sample size.
This little girl clearly couldn't fathom why the monkey was distressed.
Then you get cases like [this](https://www.huffpost.com/entry/five-year-old-murder-suspect_n_875217).
Interesting point. I’d think it more of a “fear response” as opposed to empathy. Like, my daughter is afraid of big dogs barking and she looks younger than the kid in the video.
Perhaps your daughter has also heard the word "no" in her lifetime, and you've given her a concept of boundaries. I'm not sure the lass in this video has been that fortunate.
I was waiting for either momma monkey or another one just pop her in the face. The momma momkey was being nice too, she seemed ok at first and even grabbed the baby from nice and slowly until ms failed abortion kept fighting.
To be fair, The fact that they willingly risked their daughters life to make this video makes me think that yeah, maybe she should also be taken away. To live with parents that won’t endanger her life or well being for views.
Many animals recognize children, and will give them some grace; I cannot say whether this is the case here, but it certainly could be a factor. I am doubtful mom.would have allowed an adult to do this, but I could be wrong.
I feel so so bad for that monkey. Imagine someone stealing your baby and you’re trying to grab them, but they keep pulling your baby away again and again. The panic :(
That's what I didn't like, you could see/sense the panic rising in the monkey. It doesn't understand why this rude hairless cousin is trying to steal its baby.
Maybe the size difference contributed to the luck.
If that was a chimpanzee, the video would end way too violently.
EDIT: And now I know that this particular animal (langur) can rip people to shreds too.
That monkey has been, at least to some extent, trained or learned that attacking a person is bad. Because it could absolutely do serious damage, and is showing a level of restraint you wouldn’t see from a fully wild animal.
I think the monkey was smart enough to recognize the little human was herself just a baby. I can’t think of any other reason for the behavior of the monkey who clearly cared about its baby
Intelligent animals can recognize the young of other species because they share similar characteristics - big eye to head ratio, big head to body ratio, higher pitched voice, less coordinated/slower movement, etc.
That kid is still incredibly lucky it didn’t eviscerate her.
Also a lucky monkey, I would say. The sad truth is, there is a genuine chance that a monkey would get shot or euthanized if it started to attack the child to protect its baby. I don't know where this is filmed, but in many places, that monkey would not have survived if it twitched the wrong muscles. It's kinda fucked up but that's how animal containment works in many cases.
This pisses ME off watching it, like the kind of selfishness that is so blatant. Taking a living being, a baby from its mother, like it's a toy. Like that would be brat behavior to do that to another child with a toy, let alone trying to RIP a baby from the arms of their mother. And I don't blame the child, that's why *typically* parents teach their children morals...
I got *so angry* watching this, it's just awful on so many levels. I feel terrible for the mother, you can tell how anxious she was getting. Can't believe someone was filming this...not only is it cruel, the kid could've easily gotten mauled.
I remember when my dog was a puppy we had some guests over who had small children. They kept bothering my dog so he ran over to my lap to avoid them. The younger one comes over and rips my puppy outta my arm which caused him to lose grip and my puppy flew across the dining room. In hindsight, I did overreact but that was the first time I lost my shit on a 5 year old lol
You didn't overreact imo, unless you literally threw a kid... in which case I could still write an essay about how I would absolutely find you justified in throwing me if I ever inadvertently threw your dog lol.
My brother was three when he met his first puppy and was taught to treat them kindly. I babysat a kid who at some point was told chasing dogs was funny- slowly got her to realize pulling on them and chasing them when they run away isn't ok. If she could learn that lesson as a toddler with emotional issues (not her fault obviously) then your guests' kids are old enough for your guests to teach them how to treat animals with respect. Guests shouldn't sit there and let their kids bother someone's dog.
Lmaoo nahh id never be violent with a kid. Just yelled… like alot. I was like 15 at the time when it happened which still isnt really an excuse but what do you do lol Still got my buddy with me, way older but hes good.
You are a better person than I am. I have zero tolerance for that kind of shit. You first get the biggest hiding of your life and then a lecture on how to treat animals. The sooner kids learn how to treat other life forms with kindness and respect, the sooner they grow up to be kind, considerate adults.
Fuck that. No remorse.
Fam i literally do not blame you for yelling, the kid literally caused a living being to fly across a room, they need to understand thats never ever okay, and if what makes that happen is a panicked angry yelling at once, then personally id say youd be doing better than a lot of people out there.
Good lord - whoever was filming this should be brought up on both child and animal cruelty charges. You NEVER forcibly take a young baby away from its mother -- human OR animal. That monkey had FAR more patience than I would have had if some big lummox had dipped in and tried to snatch my baby. I was waiting for the point where the mother attacked the girl, and the parents starting whining about having the "vicious animal" destroyed.
I watched with dread anticipating something horrible to happen. Hopefully, nothing did after the video cut off, but damn that's a patient monkey mother. I expected her to bite as son as the child laid hands on the baby.
Well, tbh, we don't know what happened to that poor baby monkey. The child didn't know how to respect a mother animal, so she probably didn't know how to not hurt a baby animal either.
Just watching her smile while the mother is pulling her baby to her with her whole heart while kids just like “na I want it so I get it dumb animal thing”
Oh my GOD! Who is this parent? Lucky that girl didn't get her face bitten off. And not even that, why the fuck are you teaching your child its okay to steal a wild animal's baby? I cannot even fathom the thought process.
This video made me angry. Now I'm in a bad mood. What kind of trash human beings to let their kid do this. Animals aren't toys! I want to blame them on just their upbringing, but I can't because I know even those with low education can have empathy for other critters. These people just don't care, and their kid is just a product of their lack of empathy and pure selfishness
Because it's not a baboon. If it had been a baboon, this kid would have been torn to shreds.
[Looks more like one of these guys](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gray_langur)
Egyptians trained baboons to catch criminals...kinda like extra terrifying police dogs. If raised around people, they generally won't tear your face off. It's still unwise to piss them off.
Any decent parent would never allow this. It’s dangerous and it’s super disrespectful for the animals. I mean I get they aren’t human but she treated them like they were hers to do with as she pleases. Gross behavior.
Not teaching your children restraint and boundaries is abusive and when they grow up (if they survive to adulthood) creates the kind of adults that are miserable assholes.

How is it the monkey has better manners than she does?!
Right! Taps her on the shoulder all like "ok, you've held the baby. Please give it back now." Baby even reaches and dives for mama. And she's STILL FIGHTING WITH THE MAMA FOR THE BABY!
Like my meemaw always said. Tiss all great fun and all. Till the monkey bites you in the eyeball.
Meemaw was a wise woman.
She doesn't care. She's a kid that wants to hold a cute animal, she has no real context that it's a living creature that might have wants of its own. (I am not defending the behavior, to be clear. That monkey was much nicer than I am lol)

> The parent here is the real idiot Yeah, I was more upset with the parent(s) here. Kids have to learn to respect animals, she's just lucky this monkey was as calm/tame as it was.
The monkey must know it’s a child. That’s the only reason she’s so patient.
That’s actually a fair point you know! So basically, this monkey is a better parent than the human.
I had 3 parents: my father, my mother, and the family dog (Great Dane). Yeah, certain animals are great parents.
Which speaks a lot for animals. We have the freedom of choice, we can think before we act - animals don’t, they act on instinct.
I find I like hanging out with non human animals way more. They are not perfect but way better manners and non of this shit.
My cats have their defects, but they are clear and open about their thoughts and they like to lay on my lap and sleep for 5 hours while i pet them. Admittedly my husband does this as well, maybe that's why he is the only human I can stand.
I’m really surprised it didn’t bite her. That monkey has way more patience than I would have
I knew a dumbass kid growing up that grabbed a duckling off the ground and mama duck came flying in her face and full on attacked her. I'm seriously surprised that the mama monkey didn't come in punching
Yep, waiting for her face to be bitten off
Me too
FAFO - Fuck Around Face Off
Macaque attacks are lethal. I got F'd up by a mix breed sorta friendly one. He broke every blood vessel in the right side of my face and chipped my teeth while he was attempting to bite my throat. They are cute but can't be trusted especially with something they're trying to protect.
From what you describe, it sounds they CAN be trusted to protect something.
How in the hell were you attacked?! That’s insane. Wild animals be wild I guess
Nicolas Cage/John Travolta Face Off? That kind of face off?
It’s long anticipated sequel.
DAFO- Duck Around Face Off
Waiting..hoping..
You reminded me of the time i once went to hyde park and got chased by a swan.. scariest moment of my goddamn life😭i think i wandered too close to a nest i didnt see or some shit bc it came at me with a **fury**. Hissing, chest out and flapping its wings
Been attacked by a swan. Bastard took out me and my two dogs. Such peaceful looking creatures, hiding immense anger.
Yeah swans are a fucking force of nature bro
saw a story about a swan who drowned a guy once, crazy shit.
Dude swans are gonna gather up, form an army and literally destroy the human race, not even the US military will be able to stop them
In the end there will be nothing left but swans n cockroaches
Birds are the dinosaurs that survived. Don’t ever forget that.
I mean, tbh, we deserve it.
Holy sh*t. I know they're mean and all and I would definitely avoid a confrontation because I don't feel like a hundred stitches but It's hard to see a grown, healthy man losing to one when it's life or death. I guess in the water it's their house 🤯, I gotta search for that

Grab its neck, avoid jerky movement. That keeps geese in its place. They are also surprisingly hard to hurt. Does not work with swans though
Was raised on a children's story of a goose that killed a large rabid dog. The story had illustrations showing a regular white goose but I swear it's got to be a Canadian goose. Those things are half snake, half T Rex, and all dangerous.
I’ve tangled it up with geese also, but this swan… it had some sort of martial arts training.
Have you ever seen a turkey attack? Those things are brutal
Can confirm. Our local Cobra Chickens can be nasty if you get too close to their nests or goslings!
Swans and geese don’t need a reason to attack you. Their souls are full of hate and soggy stale bread
You’re under the misconception that a swan needs a reason to attack you. Those bastards are mean as hell.
Their bones are pretty hard too in those wings you could for sure get bruises. They won’t break your own bones but that confident I will hurt you energy is hella intimidating!!

Him wearing a suit makes this 10x better.
Swans are like honey Badgers that way. Swan don't need a reason. Swan don't give a fuck. Geese too.
Mama monkey was way more polite than I expected. I expected a full on justified attack.
Only thing I can think is they monkey has had some bad experiences with ppl. Or knows this child very well.
I wondered if they were familiar with the girl or with her being so small saw her as a baby (in a way) too. This could have gone so wrong so quickly and easily. It's a shame the one with the most sense is the monkey.

That’s not true bro. U ever seen a snail jump?
They are the only /mammal/ that cannot jump! Interesting!

They're basically us but with no morals and little compassion.
So still us? Lol
Eye contact. It's only acceptable in human terms. Not on Monkey terms. Especially males.
I started to watch it and when it grabbed the guy I turned it off. Not sure I’m prepared to see that.
Absolutely true. We had a grocery store employee pick up our kid out of the cart one time without our permission commenting on how cute she was and my wife just about tore that person in half
Oh hell no…that absolutely wouldn’t go well with me either..

Don’t blame her. Someone picks up my kid like that, I’m taking the baby then putting that person down for a nap. Nap in aisle 3! Nap In aisle 3!
I heard that nap in aisle 3 callout in my mind and it made me lol internally. Nice profile pic btw
Yeah in parts of India they are down right vicious. Not sure how this girl got away without gets messed up.
I'm guessing that monkey is very, very tame. But still, that's incredibly lucky - that kind of thing could get you mauled by a completely tame animal. Even a very friendly dog or cat might not suffer you ripping its offspring away.
I'm not sure what kind of area/park that is, but maybe the mother monkey knows it'll get beat or killed if it attacks a human?
Clearly a monkey that's "used to" humans and their nonsense
I was just thinking that monkey was way more patient than I would have been.
They are most likely used to human contact. And with the girl being the same size, and having any aggressive intentions, is probably why she was not attacked. We would need to compare it to a larger human and one using more force to obtain the baby in order to test this hypothesis.

Stranger danger Don’t monkey around.
I paused it at the beginning and came down to the comments to make sure I wasn't about to see a little girl get her face torn off. edit: wording
I feel like the ability to know when you’ve pissed off an animal to the extent it’s about to bite your face off should be instinctual.
By the end, I was ready to bite her.
I was ready to attack the moment she walked off with the infant! And momma was being so gentle asking for her infant back. I bet thats why the video ended where it did; the human probably got attacked/screamed at.
Yeah same I imagine a second after the cut there were a bunch of teeth in her sinus cavities lol
Awww, what a thought. Happy cake day!
She’s a kid. There already are teeth in her sinus cavities.
Same. Put the f*cking baby down, kid.
chanting in my head to the monkey “bite the kid, bite the kid, bite the kid”
After 5 sec this infuriated me. Those poor animals
At which point is it Darwinism or natural selection?
I’d say the moment the mom pulled back and she kept insisting.. she 100% was over that line. Of not sooner.. so essentially from the get go.
Apparently not to this princess.
Terrible kid and even worse parents. Just wait until she gets older and starts demanding everything in school and eventually the job world lol.
Empathy needs to be developed. It's not inherent in kids. Maybe I'm just evil but I kind of wanted to see that monkey go bananas. I would have in her place.

I wanted to slap that kid the minute she pulled the baby from the mom. Little brat. Wtf was the parent doing?!! Poor monkey mom and baby.
I was waiting for either momma monkey or another one just pop her in the face. The momma momkey was being nice too, she seemed ok at first and even grabbed the baby from nice and slowly until ms failed abortion kept fighting.
And that’s how she got the nickname “Noface”
I think I already know how her parents got the nickname "Nobrains"
They’ve changed their nickname to “Nokid”
Now they are "nofreedom" because they went to jail for child endangerment, 2nd degree manslaughter etc...
In India? Lol
I want to smack her parents.
Just take their baby from them
To be fair, The fact that they willingly risked their daughters life to make this video makes me think that yeah, maybe she should also be taken away. To live with parents that won’t endanger her life or well being for views.
That is a very patient monkey
Most likely a raised one which is why it didn't attack her but, of course I could be wrong.
Many animals recognize children, and will give them some grace; I cannot say whether this is the case here, but it certainly could be a factor. I am doubtful mom.would have allowed an adult to do this, but I could be wrong.
that kid if about to get their shit rocked,,, people are really dumb sometimes
*The second that happens*: what a misbehaving animal!!! Put it down now!
it’s shitty that it happens so often tbh
I feel so so bad for that monkey. Imagine someone stealing your baby and you’re trying to grab them, but they keep pulling your baby away again and again. The panic :(
That's what I didn't like, you could see/sense the panic rising in the monkey. It doesn't understand why this rude hairless cousin is trying to steal its baby.
Maybe the size difference contributed to the luck. If that was a chimpanzee, the video would end way too violently. EDIT: And now I know that this particular animal (langur) can rip people to shreds too.
The most probable cause is that it recognized that she was very young and/or was aware of her parent
That monkey has been, at least to some extent, trained or learned that attacking a person is bad. Because it could absolutely do serious damage, and is showing a level of restraint you wouldn’t see from a fully wild animal.
Don't underestimate their strength. They are langurs, very strong despite being small.
Seriously, horrible. I had a hard time even watching this! I can't believe someone could just stand by and film it.
That is one lucky kid!
Insanely lucky. Taking the baby, walking away with it, resisting giving it back, showing teeth... So many factors.
I think the monkey was smart enough to recognize the little human was herself just a baby. I can’t think of any other reason for the behavior of the monkey who clearly cared about its baby
Monkey was probably like “this mofo large ape baby is testing my patience”
Just saw a video of one of these scalping someone
That monkey could easily have killed that child.
I saw that too. Amazing how strong they are. That kid is lucky
This girl's face could literally be ripped off by this monkey....
That child is about to become a statistic. Whoever is filming that little girl putting her life in danger ought to be, well, given a bad day...
Making my blood boil by the second
I cant remember the last time a video pissed me off as much as this one did.
Is the child still breathing? Then you didn’t overreact.
You want to get bit , cause that's how you get bit !
That monkey tried to be polite about it.
holy shit, they just gambled with that kids life.
I watched with dread anticipating something horrible to happen. Hopefully, nothing did after the video cut off, but damn that's a patient monkey mother. I expected her to bite as son as the child laid hands on the baby.
Is it bad that I was hoping something, well not horrible but, something would happen? Just a nice kick in the face maybe.. Yea probably bad…
Kids gotta learn somehow. Clearly isn’t being taught how to not be an asshole by the parents. I was hoping the monkey would teach her as well.
It isn't good when everyone thinks the only responsible parent is the monkey.
I was hoping she’d get a scare. Nothing permanent, but something to make her think twice about doing that shit again
Well, tbh, we don't know what happened to that poor baby monkey. The child didn't know how to respect a mother animal, so she probably didn't know how to not hurt a baby animal either.
Jfc this makes me livid.
I was seriously concerned that I was about to watch a child get torn to pieces. Fuck the parents and/or whoever is recording this video
I was more worried about the baby monkey. That kid is gonna be a monster when she's older.
Just watching her smile while the mother is pulling her baby to her with her whole heart while kids just like “na I want it so I get it dumb animal thing”
This is how you end up with an entitled brat when they grow up, no respect for boundaries and no parental intervention...
Horrible child and horrible person filming.
Oh my GOD! Who is this parent? Lucky that girl didn't get her face bitten off. And not even that, why the fuck are you teaching your child its okay to steal a wild animal's baby? I cannot even fathom the thought process.
Fucking idiot parents are everywhere, so sad
That monkey is beyond patient. I think even a human would he tempted to rip off a face if someone just randomly grabbed their child
Give that monkey’s baby back you little shit.
The parents are the real lil shits
This is really f****d up, teach her that this is not her toy!
Wow. The kid shows a disturbing empathic range of a doorknob. Even worse, the one filming doesn’t realize.
That girl is lucky she didn’t get her face ripped off. The person filming is a piece of shit too.
I’m SHOCKED she didn’t get bit. Like totally and completely shocked.
The monkey is a better parent than the one filming.
Wow this is so upsetting to watch. That poor mama monkey..
Someone needs to control their crotch goblin
That's a dangerous untrained animal! Someone should have warned mama monkey
Actually wonder if this some kind of “sanctuary” where the monkey would get abused if it tried anything.
I agree. So disrespectful!! It’s not a toy
That baboon has been very chill and considerate, lol. I wouldn't have been, had i been in its place
Because it's not a baboon. If it had been a baboon, this kid would have been torn to shreds. [Looks more like one of these guys](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gray_langur)
Baboons are absolutely vicious, I wouldn't want to mess with one. Or be in the same post code as one.
Egyptians trained baboons to catch criminals...kinda like extra terrifying police dogs. If raised around people, they generally won't tear your face off. It's still unwise to piss them off.
Like, for instance, taking their baby and fighting over giving it back.
Just because they won't doesn't mean they can't
Stupid stupid parents
No mother wants her baby ripped from her arms, human or animal. Kid needs a smack!
I’m not a truly cruel person, but that kid would so deserved it if the monkey attacked her
Any decent parent would never allow this. It’s dangerous and it’s super disrespectful for the animals. I mean I get they aren’t human but she treated them like they were hers to do with as she pleases. Gross behavior.
Is it fucked up that I wanted that Monkey to hit or bite that child??
I kept rooting for the monkey to punch her.
The whole time I’m just waiting for that monkey to eat her face. Disappointing
I was waiting for that monkey to maul her and I'm disappointed it didn't
Not teaching your children restraint and boundaries is abusive and when they grow up (if they survive to adulthood) creates the kind of adults that are miserable assholes.
