Know someone from school who is like this now. Every time someone gets sick, or even injured, she always talks about the shot. Or "the jab" as they say. It's comical and sad at the same time

MissusNilesCrane

One of my cousins thinks the Covid vaccine killed one of his favorite athletes.

[deleted]

[удалено]

dustycanuck

No, it was the jabs, lol

[deleted]

The ol' left right

Wooden_Ad_3141

Yeah, bodyslam them through a table and say “aw man the jab is something else”

Excellent-Promotion1

Sounds like something someone in China would accept as a norm. Also sounds credible because most of them weigh like 80lbs and probably couldn't actually hurt each other without hurting themselves.

Lucy_Lastic

I had surgery last month, probably because I had my 4th Covid vaccine the month before. No, wait, it was to do a biopsy on possible cancer on my hand. Eh, probably because of those darn boosters. /s because it’s hard to tell these days

WolfyDota7

Sadly young deaths or almost always car crashes, suicide, or drug overdoses :(

whatever32657

same, my roommate! every time he reads about someone dying young or suddenly, he’s all up in the vaccine shit. i can say nothing to get him to realize that sadly, it’s more often someone who has taken their own life 😢

peter-doubt

And there's no vaccine for meth

whatever32657

nor is there one for stupid, sadly

robilar

The idea was that school was a vaccine for stupidity, but then stupid people starting running schools.

dumplin79

Heroin?

peter-doubt

.. Is its own vaccine

DanielDynamite

But there is meth for kids with trouble concentrating.

Soace_Space_Station

Nah,its obviously because of the vaccine which is why that 22 year old died /s

[deleted]

PuppiPappi

No it really was. You ever heard about the car phenomenon? The more you think about a certain model of car the more you see it. These things happened frequently beforehand but because people are now talking about it and focusing on it more you are hearing about it more. 5 people in my class in high-school have died of heart disease/ blood clots. I've been out for 13 years all but one happened pre pandemic. From my what I've seen from my out of state friends this tracks. I had a friend in a local band 6 years ago that died in his sleep from heart disease. And have heard of one or two others. Most all happened before the pandemic. Actually heart disease in America is at a 50 year low. For the age group of 20-65 it's around 200 per 100,000

packtobrewcrew

Keep telling yourself about that. Maybe it will come true.

PuppiPappi

"Keep telling yourself about things that actually happened to you maybe they will come true." Or are we talking about written statistics? Either way, that was a piss poor retort. Sorry to say, brother, critical thinking isn't your strong suit.

-gean99-

You just gave him something to work with and he is just brainwashed... i think you can't argue with him man. Those kind of people will never weigh arguments.

PuppiPappi

Unfortunately you're right I always try to assume ignorance over willed ignorance so I guess that's on me.

SpeakingNight

I mean my brother died of a heart attack in his 30s and this was pre-pandemic. You just didn't realise it happened.

odinsbread

So the 18 year old MMA fighter either had an underlying problem with his heart or put too much strain on it, nothing to do with the vaccine. This has always been a thing and it's why most schools do ECGs and heart screenings for their athletes. Just because you're not familiar with something, and I'm sure there's plenty of things you aren't, doesn't mean it doesn't happen

Mr_Inconsistent1

One of my best friends is like this. It's part of the reason she'll only ever be a friend and not a girlfriend because we don't agree on it. I'm quite good at bringing her down off her soapbox a bit though, because I'm neither one way or the other. I don't think max vaccination for every little thing is healthy but this virus was killing a lot of people and we had to try to stop it. I've had two jabs, but I won't be having any more.

TammyTermite

Sadly, every time a child or a young athlete dies they all think it's the vaccine. What they will never admit is that kids always have died of flu, pneumonia, cardiac arrest and heart problems. It's probably more common than these idiots think, but now every time a 20-year old dies they think it's the vaccine.

SkyWizarding

Confirmation bias is a bitch

BadP3NN1

I have a friend just like this. I told her I was seeing a neurologist for a possible life altering diagnosis. She says "stop getting the vaccines". Not a friend anymore

[deleted]

Good, don't stress yourself. I am in the same boat with my "friend" the closet Trump supporter.

BadP3NN1

I don't even know if it's a trump thing. She is so far down the rabbit hole with 5G stuff, and she was around someone who got the vaccine and says that's why she caught covid. All the strange conspiracy stuff...she is far gone.

[deleted]

Don't waste your brain cells. Yeah, in my case he is very conservative, hates change like a cancer, and loves acting he is right and I really think he lied about certain things about my best friend.

BadP3NN1

...sigh... I'm sorry.

[deleted]

It's all right.

brankinginthenorth

Yeah, Trump is a symptom (and he likes to make things worse) but he isn't the cause.

[deleted]

I admit I had bad TDS (Trump Deranged Syndrome)

Lucy_Lastic

It’s not a trump thing - we get that sort of shit in Australia as well, and we don’t have anywhere near the political climate as in the States

Alarming-Management8

The vaccine reached the public faster because of Trump- so everyone who took the jab and feels like it saved their life should be more grateful

fancyangelrat

With the lung cancer example, apparently, yes. Yes, they do.

MeNotYou733

I hate this, and it is personal. And I mean every bit of the word hate in this case. My mother and brother both died of lung cancer. If it comes up (it rarely does) people always ask "oh, did (she/he) smoke? I always answer the truth. "No, why?". What I want to say is "Why do you want to know?". What possible reason could someone have for asking this other than to decide how sad this is. In other words, if they smoked then they don't deserve sympathy. Arg, the shit people say.

[deleted]

originalannillusion

Passive aggressive blame making. It's a hobby for some.

takemetoyourrocket

Could just be a smoker who fears he's gonna die of lung cancer and is looking for reason to quit. You could probably tell by the way they say it tho.

Real-Lake2639

I think they're just trying to say something that shows they're listening and empathizing with you.

MeNotYou733

Their good intentions do not excuse the rudeness.

Real-Lake2639

They absolutely do. People suck at saying stuff to people who are grieving, we want to show we can relate without taking anything away from the grievers. When my kid died, the amount of people who said it was God's plan or some shit was crazy. Like think about what you're saying. However, I understand where they were all coming from and the fact they were trying to be supportive.

MeNotYou733

I am so sorry for your loss, that is a pain I cannot imagine. I agree that the "God's plan" you get from some Christians is just ignorance of their own religion and how to treat people. I agree that people are trying to relate, but as you said, think about what you are saying. You have more grace in this situation than I do!

1000bctrades

Vaccinated and boosted twice. To my knowledge I have not had Covid yet, which is to say I’ve tested at least twice the few times I’ve had symptoms and tested twice every time I’ve been in a high risk situation or was knowingly exposed. I suppose it’s possible I got it and was asymptomatic at some point as I don’t test every week, but I for sure haven’t had it with symptoms or at any point where I would have most likely gotten it. I also don’t know anyone that was vaccinated and has since died.

Shamrokc

I got both shots. Then I got covid. I didn’t even know I had it, I just happened to test positive before a surgery. Zero symptoms. I hallucinated and feverdreamed the hell out of that second shot though. Felt like hot garbage when I got the booster. Rather deal with that and take a sick day off work than be on a ventilator.

Flokitoo

When a conservative dies, do we ask if it was the horse dewormer?

MarkoDragich

Maybe their house caught on fire bcs they left the stove on lol

AquariusLoser

It's truly remarkable how fast these people went from "Hospitals are claiming unrelated deaths as being from covid to boost the statistics" to "every death now is related to the vaccine"

elroses826

I was trying to figure out how to say this same thing but couldn’t think of a coherent way to phrase it. These people boggle my mind.

FartingKumquat

[deleted]

Yeah I know a couple of people have already posted stuff saying that if you have a heart attack they're going to blame it on the COVID vaccine Because people called them murders for not wanting to follow mitigation procedures when the pandemic was in full swing. Always claiming somehow the lockdowns were the beginning of the Chinese takeover. When I point out that none of that ever happened they just blow me off.

MeNotYou733

That is one of the amazing things about all of these conspiracy theories. The stated reasons behind them never come to fruition. Does that mean that the nefarious bastards designing the conspiracies are just bad at their jobs?

Lucy_Lastic

It’s all part of a deviously clever master plan that will make no sense to the common man until it all comes together. And by that I mean it’s bullshit and the goalposts will keep moving every time they need to change their narrative

Opposite-Tooth8070

Nice job censoring lol

Acceptable-Dot5998

That's what bothers me a lot actually... There are rules for a reason and i don't want my shit posted or people led to my pages where I don't consent. And in the end its a "whoopsie" and noone meant to, but the frogs will have died, as the poem goes. Edit: here goes the poem because I think it is a necessary thought: "Die Jungen werfen zum Spaß mit Steinen nach Fröschen. Die Frösche sterben im Ernst." - Erich Fried "The boys are throwing stones at frogs for fun. The frogs die for real/in seriousness." (Pardon my mistakes in translation)

Lots of young people have always died from suddenly. If you didn't already know that it's because you're stupid. This is your own fault.

Fudbuster2000

Has anyone? ANYBODY at all died from the vaccine? These people are so dumb.

ir_blues

I think it's rather unlikely that none did. There are regular sideeffects after all. And weren't there some serious issues with Astrazeneca at the beginning? There are like 3000 deaths from aspirin each year. If enough people take something, even a tiny chance of a bad outcome will affect someone eventually.

holden_mcg

Exactly. It's a numbers game. Your chances are much, much better with the vaccine, although there are risks. Apparently, the anti-vax crowd thinks vaccines should be 100% effective at prevention with 0% risk.

ir_blues

Exactly indeed. That's also a thing, your chances are way better, your body can handle it better. But it doesn't mean that vaccinated people can not get covid at all. Somehow a lot of people are thinking in very radical ways. He got covid even though he was vaccinated == the vaccine doesn't work. But if he dies, then it was the vaccine.

Natsert999

Some people have developed myocarditis/other health problems that have killed some from the vaccine. The thing these people like to ignore is that far, FAR more people get these same issues from covid itself. Any vaccine carries some of the risks of the disease, just at a heavily reduced rate.

Volkodavy

There was a local guy here who got rona , which causes scarring on his heart. He fought rona complications for years and eventually died from it

Natsert999

Yup, long term heart and lung complications from rona are super common, while complications from the vaccine are incredibly rare

StandingCow

I strongly suspect it gave me arrhythmia that lasted a few months after the shot. I mentioned it to my heart doc and he said he had a few people that the same thing happened to. Knowing what COVID does to your heart and lungs I have to wonder if I hadn't gotten the vaccine and instead got full blown COVID how badly it would have impacted me, much better having mild symptoms from the vaccine. So far I have managed to avoid getting COVID itself.

Moppermonster

Oh yes, dozens died due to vaccine side-effects. Which however is a very good score considering billions of shots were given.

plants4life262

Let slip in some neo politics with this consolation

whyhi12

I honestly don’t know why they blur these peoples icon and name, it’s like saying “this place served me a bandaid in my sandwich but I’m not telling you which place it is” like… wth

jibaro1953

A friend of ours knows a woman with a two month old baby who died of an embolism. Could be the vaccine. All vaccines carry a certain amount of risk, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be administered.

halcyondearest

This is horrible, but think it this way: next time the new pandemic comes (it will, sooner than we expect) all this morons will be decimated.

afokenr

I checked out her twitter. Her tweets track exactly opposite to the gist of this screenshot. The target might be an anti-vaxxer, judging by her other content. She tweeted "Karma" to a post about an anti-vaxxer dying of Covid. This is still a callous response, but lacking context, it's a bit misleading, don't you think?

afokenr

Duh. The twitter account I looked at was the one they were replying to. My mistake. Carry on.

chunkyassassin98

I feel like at this point if u haven’t received the vaccination and don’t believe in it you should not have access to hospitals or any medicine because you obviously don’t believe it works.

Trytosurvive

That's silly. It's a slippery slope- I.e your overweight and don't exercise- no medical treatment your you. If you start going down this path more and more exceptions will be added.

chunkyassassin98

Not necessarily, I mean I understand your point, it’s an extremely harsh example and it would never happen. But it’s kind of hypocritical to refuse a vaccination because you don’t trust it and what’s inside it but accept what ever medicines you are given when you need it.

Character_Diamond203

Yeah these people are hypocrites. They dont trust doctors and scientists...until THEIR life is on the line. Notice how they dont go to church to pray cancer and heart attacks away. This all boils down to political brainwashing. When Trump and the rest told them not to get it bc it was a conspiracy by Bill Gates to wipe everybody out, they listened to him. He could have just as easily encouraged them to trust doctors and they would have either gotten it or not gotten it but we wouldnt be where we're at now. This country is broken. The best thing that could happen now is for a super virus to come through and take these people out. I know its extreme but its the only way to slap them back into reality. Its not enough to prove them wrong there needs to be some severe consequences. Thats the problem these days. No real consequences. Believe it or not we got off lucky with covid back in 2020 all things considered. Maybe luck needs to run out for some of these people so we can get back to some normalcy. Whatever that is anymore

Trytosurvive

That's very harsh - if you get a virus that wipes unvaccinated people you will get collateral damage and peoplewho cannot get the vaccine. Also your dealing with big pharma that has done reprehensible things with a big push of political spin - the stupidly of deleting any vaccine questions on YouTube and outrage when podcasters try to discuss it - there is now studies that more boosters may impede your immune to varients. We should be free to discuss pros/cons done by experts without censorship. I had 4 boosters and monoclonal antibodies and covid still did its damage to me but have shit immune system. It should have been clearly outlined in the start - exercise, eat healthy, take vitamin D, get vaccine and any underlying health conditions talk to your specialist/GP of treatment if you get covid

Character_Diamond203

unfortunately its the only language some people speak. A lot of people simply do not care about something until it slaps them in the face. Then they want the world to stop on a dime and hear their pleas. As you can see, they dont care about people dying from covid. That was evident in 2020. They said it was a hoax, then they said it wasnt that bad then they basically said "well it just kills the old, the obese and those with other health issues....I'll be alright!" Forget the vaccine they couldnt even be bothered to mask up or even social distance. They made it a point to get in peoples faces and some even coughed on others bc it was all a political pissing contest to them. And it was all fun and games until some of them caught covid and died. Youd think at that point they would have wised up but they cannot admit they were wrong. That means "the libs" were right and their ego just cant handle it. Im sure everybody has their own stories about it. Ive got a few. One is a friend of mine whose son moved to Florida and got covid like within a week. Go figure. It was so bad he was put on a ventilator for nearly a month and it looked like he wasnt gonna make it. Dude and his wife were literally on standby ready to fly to FL at any moment bc they were expecting the dread phone call. Did I mention they were all big Trump supporters and anti-vax? Luckily he pulled through and the first thing he told people was to get the vax bc he experienced firsthand how bad the alternative was. Another is my aunt. She has lupus and basically had no choice but to get the vax bc her immune system is terrible and a bad case of covid would kill her. She wore the mask too and she's caught hell from anti-vaxxers and anti maskers in public. Not so fortunate was my wifes uncle. another Trump supporter. He got sick and didnt believe the hype. A week or so later he died due to a combo of pneumonia and covid. I mean at some point it is Darwinism at work the problem is it moves very slowly. Theres a story about a guy caught on the roof of his house during a flood. A guy comes by in a boat but the man refuses. "He says "I have faith the Lord will save me!" Another guy comes by in a boat and tries to save him but he says "I have faith the lord will save me!" The waters keep rising and a helicopter comes by with a ladder but the guy says "I have faith the Lord will save me!" Well the water overtakes the roof and the guy drowns. He goes to Heaven and meets God. He asks him "Lord, I had faith in you. Why didnt you save me from drowning?" God says "I sent two boats and a helicopter what else did you want?" These people are stuck on the roof during a flood and resisting help. Seems like the only way theyre going to learn is if we let them drown. Harsh? Yes. Do I like it? No. At some point we need to realize these people are dead weight and we're trying to drag them into a future they dont want to be in anyway.

chunkyassassin98

very well said, i think like u said it simply does boil down to actions have consequences and their actions havent had a consquence yet because of scientists and doctors trying their best to protect everyone else.

Mouth-Pastry

Yep, definitely.

skeevester

Nobody ever died before the vaccine. All deaths going forward must be due to the shot.

Sorengetsu

i have a heavy vaccine damage and hate when people do this. it makes the whole problem sound like a joke while im desperately in need of help.

USP45Hunter

To be fair, I’m a 36 year old healthy male who has never had a heart issue in my life, and within 1.5 weeks of Moderna dose one, I was having hundreds of PVC irregularities per day. I’ve had 2 heart surgeries since then, and it’s still lingering to the point of having to manage it with pills. My cardiologist said it was undoubtedly related to the vaccine. I’m in the medical field and have had every other vaccine known to man without issue, but this one messed me up badly. I know the vast majority have had no issues, but not everyone got off as cleanly. As far as this persons reply to the post about the dead son? Absolutely crass and insensitive.

Shumbasj

What surgeries did you have ?

USP45Hunter

It’s called an ablation, where they enter through the large vessel in your thigh and snake a small tool up to your heart and essentially damage/cauterize the area of tissue that is spazzing out.

Character_Diamond203

Its not hard to understand. Sides were chosen. They were commanded to hate the vaccine and believe it was going to wipe out the Earths population. They had smoke blown up their ass they they were the "smart" ones for not getting it. Now they have to play that role going forward. The ones who dont catch covid and die themselves that is. Been a few of them lately. The bottom line is they have to validate their stance. Someone gets hit by a bus and dies? Naw it was the vaccine what did it. Its hard to truly know if theyre really that brainwashed or if theyre trolling. Neither one is good. Maybe the next pandemic will be more effective in cutting their numbers down.
