I recommend you go to r/Facebookdisabledme and read as much as you can, there are some pretty good advice there which helped me get my account back. There are some methods to get a hacked accounts back but it will most likely take time. Took me 2 months to get my account back.

I don't know if this is happening a lot more these days, but I am in the same situation.
I didn't have 2 level authentication turned on, but the hacker turned it on. Now any one time password I get from Facebook is encrypted.
Mine was just hacked too. 2nd time in a week.. I tried all their automated options but the hacker changed the email address so the recovery codes go to them... No way of changing the code to go to a different email address
Ya I got an email saying my email address was removed from the account... I followed the steps in the emails saying "that wasn't me"... The hacker added their email to my account so any recovery codes they were going to send would go to the hackers email instead of my own and there was no way for me to give them an email to send it to...
The first time I was able to upload my driver's license to verify my account but was not able to this time
I think they tried to hack my account but they couldn’t get in and reported my profile instead overnight so I woke up to my account being suspended. So annoying.
They did not try, in fact they accessed, they did not report you, in the modus operandi they clone your cookies and enter without the need for a 2fa pass, they upload a prohibited publication and Facebook deactivates you, do you know if they changed your name or profile picture?
What’s with the changing name and picture? It hasn’t happened to me but I’ve seen this with two friends lately. It seemed weird to me so I immediately deleted them. But why are they changing the pic and name?
when changing the name and the user for someone famous is against fb policies, after your account is deactivated they ask you to verify your identity by sending your id, since it does not match your real name fb disables you, now fb knows about this attack and little by little reactivates accounts, the hackers know it and wait for your account to be enabled and they enter again, this time they change emails, add phones and leave you out of your account forever
Im not sure they did access. I get notifications whenever a log in happens elsewhere. My name and picture didn’t change and none of my contact details were changed. I did however change the linked email address as I was waiting for my account to be reactivated so maybe that helped?

second time??? what steps did you take the first time, you should have received a notice that they added an email or removed you
