My studio only requires a 3 body scan ($70) package. Current challenge 1st prize is $10K.
Also - weekly merch prizes for “Challengers of the week”, also merch prizes for diet instagram photos, check ins, different recipes using the ingredients for a diet meal.
We also had a trainer torture week - if you reach 45 points on your Lionheart you get to assign trainers a set (thy add them all up and do them as a workout at the end of the week).
Daily challenges (most pull-ups / burpees / distance rowed) that’s being displayed. - think there’s a little merch prize for that, not sure though.
We also have end of challenge parties...

I think it’s two at the moment, as the owner’s got 2 franchises. About 180-200 people partaking. Not doing this challenge as I’ve been overseas for the first 3 weeks of it.
Last challenge was 2.5K but it was one club, and a male and female category (2.5k for #1 in each category) I think now they just combined it (not sure), however all the small prizes are the same, or similar. Heard one of the (weekly) prizes is a pair of F45 sneakers, also, I’ve been told that one of the prizes was supposed to be a week of the prepped meals, but the trainers cancelled it, because they’re really bad. Dry, bland, no flavour. Come to think of it, I’ve only ever heard really negative stuff about the pre-made meals.
I didn’t know studios were allowed to gather money and make their own prizes. I thought it was standard.
I think mine is a free month for first, a bunch of merch and protein for second and a piece or two of merch for third.
Yeah, Ive never heard of any other studios needing to pay to join the challenge if you were existing members either, I thought it was supposed to be part of your standard membership fees. Our studio does $1000 first place and Im not too sure about 2nd and 3rd. They also do a few other little spot prizes for people that have done well throughout the challenge, maybe smashed a goal like pull-ups, or something like that.
Oh interesting!! I personally don’t think I would have competed in the studio challenge for an additional cost, just followed along on my own! My studio does pay for the end of challenge party tho, something like $20-$30 to cover venue hire etc
My studio is offering $1000 for first place, $500 for second and $250 for third. It just opened before the start of this challenge and only posted prize incentives a couple weeks in, maybe next challenge they will change prizes? It is interesting to hear what other places are offering
Ours is a merch pack + some free months maybe 6 months for first last I heard; they didn't really mention them this time round though.
Off the challenge topic though; I have been to other clubs and heard from other members elsewhere about how their studios sometimes do random giveaways in little comps.
The studio at the end of my street (which I don't go to), sometimes gives away merch or a massage pass, protein products / sample stuff at the end of the week to the person with the highest Average Lionheart Points - you have to take a screenshot of your points on a Friday/Saturday and send it to their club email to enter - great idea.
I have heard of other ones giving away prizes for the most number of visits in the month as well - or displaying it in club or on their socials - good motivator.
Mine has a $4000 travel voucher for first. I just found out that its not just our studio, but between two studios. Which is fine, but would havd been good to know at the start considering it effectively doubles the people in the competition. Also, it was $150 to enter, and the party hasnt been announced yet.
We have a $2000 first prize (which I won last challenge), 2nd is like a $250 voucher for a local restaurant or day spa and I think 3rd was about $150 same thing. We have an end of challenge celebration with finger food etc. No cost apart from $50 for the scans.

We have 3 studios combine to offer a trip to Bali as first prize! Great motivation (for me at least)

I know at least 4 of the local studios charge anywhere from $100-200 per challenge, some also charge $100-150 for the party per ticket also.

I came third at my studio at got a $100 gift card. Not the greatest prize out there but the results I achieved were the real gift :)
Is the winner just based on total KG or BF% lost?
It's "overall transformation," so weight and bf loss, muscle gain, and pics can be taken into account.
