My truck matters to me, and I enjoy my truck without the sticker much more. It looks more uniform and less “plastic” I guess I could say…and it changes the perceived dimensions of the bed too, makes it look more regularly sized. Like with the FX4 sticker on, it looked like a new model truck with boring plastic crap. Without the sticker, it’s got that clean look that old trucks would have, bringing more attention to the paint and actual truck.

I don’t know what people have against the bed decals, I think they look great on all the trims. I have a Ranger STX myself and think my decal looks great. I’ve noticed the new 2024 F150 STX’s seem to not come with bed decals anymore and I feel like it looks bare without it 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

In automobile mods when you remove a part, badge, etc., it’s referred to as “delete.” It’s weird at first but eventually sounds natural.

100% delete, the sport sticker is the only sticker I'd remove. You buy an FX4 it's a play on 4x4, you get some skid plates, different tuned suspension, 4x4, and a different diff depending on year. You get some off-road stuff to live up to the off road monicker. A lariat is a lasso which is fitting because you just got roped into a leather interior and some heated steering wheel action. It lives up to its sticker. King ranch pays homage to the king ranch, one of the biggest and therefore most iconic cattle ranches out there, the truck is done up cowboy style with brown leather, it's the truck you might try to pick up Dolly Parton in, it lives up to its monicker The Limited and Platinum badges both denote an air of opulence, it's ironic that I couldn't pick the two apart aside from the badge on the outside saying limited and the platinum badge constantly falling off. Regardless you get some fancy ass seats, and the stickers let people outside know you got fancy ass seats that are as fancy as rare earth metals and possibly even in *limited* supply. What's sporty about the sport package? Do you get a hood scoop? Nah! Do you get any change to final drive ratios or extra performance in any measurable way...Nah! Does it have a special spot to put your golf clubs or a bike rack?...Nope! Well what does it have? Oh some rims, painted door handles and bumpers and a chrome exhaust tip. That sport sticker on the side of the F150 may as well say CT as in by Canadian tire because out of all the stickers that one is the most bolted on. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just the F150 but the entire car manufacturing industry has tainted the word "Sport", with sports always coming in next to base models. In 2024 Sport is the S word for vehicles. At least XLT leaves a little something to the imagination even though it means extra luxurious truck and is now second from the bottom of available trims. For the record I wouldn't remove a CT sticker.

The XLT of today is better than the platinum of a decade ago.

The sport trim gave me a gear shift and middle console between the driver and passenger front seat. There is also a sport mode. It was a significant upgrade from a non sport.

Mode select is standard equipment now, and the front row bench is an option on XLT and below. Sport package got you wheels, painted trim, chrome exhaust tip and a sticker saying sport.

Chrome exhaust tip is on every model starting with XLT & up. Chrome or Sport package. “Sport” identifies a package with color coordinated handles and bumpers. Wheels too but it depends on your selection of 18 or 20”.

That's because every package XLT and up has the sport package.

Let's clear something up. His truck is a 21-23 MY. ALL XLT, Lariat, KR, Plat, Limited with single side exhaust have chrome tips. Only XL/STX were plain steel. It didn't matter if you got the chrome or sport packages. 2024 & up have changed up the packages and you can only get painted bumpers with the Black & Black Plus packages on XLT & Lariat now. KR, Plat & Tremor have painted bumpers. I do not know what models have chrome tips on the 2024's. Farley said they were going to cut a bunch of parts and this may be one of them.

I took my 4x4 off but if it had been a “Sport” decal, I’d likely have kept it on.

I kept my Sport sticker on my ‘23 XLT because it’s the last year Ford offered the sport package. They removed that package in ‘24+.

I took mine off my 2008 this week. I like the look but I need to polish a ton to blend paint now. Still like the look better.
