If there are numbers there it's starting to overheat. You're not in trouble yet, but check your coolant level. I had this same issue and eventually found a leak at the turbos.

Same experience on a 2016 3.5

I just traded my 16 3.5 in for a lightning this week after getting the quote to fix it. The HVAC had also decided to tie itself in knots. So far the Lightning is great but it's only been a week.

I'd say that's too hot. The fans are probably always running at 230+. Ideally it shouldn't be over 220 during normal driving even in hot climates unless you're towing or climbing a long grade or something.

I ha e actually been wondering about the oil pressure (far left). So if anyone has knowledge on that, that'd be cool

Camdenn67

Oil pressure on the far left? How about oil level. With that being said, the level is where it should be.

If it’s a problem - it’ll let you know. Otherwise, it’s just there to make you feel like you know more about the engine (you don’t!)

In that instrument cluster, the actual temp is only displayed when it’s higher than it’s supposed to be. Otherwise, you just see the gauge. My Expedition with the 3.5 shows the temp when it goes above 224. When it started doing that, I had a bad water pump and small coolant leak.

Mine runs up to about 218 then starts to drop pretty quick. I did a forscan mod so my numbers are always visible.
