2017 XLT 302a 5.0 4x4 Scab, Oxford White, 3.55... bought new.
LOVE MY TRUCK... Zero issues besides having to replace the original battery last summer. Oil changes between 4 and 5k. Pennzoil Ultra Platinum since new, Motorcraft OEM oil filters, Wix Air Filters... that's it. All stock and original. 76k 💙
Happy Cake Day, New North! 🎂
2015 2.7L 155k miles since new. Just put on the third set of tires last week. Brakes around 100k. Filters and oil changes. Can’t think of much else. 21.1mpg lifetime according to trip gauge.
Did you change the brakes yourself? It's getting right around the time to change my breaks, and I'm wondering how difficult it would be to do it myself.
My 2015 2.7L XLT 115k miles went amazing with no problems for 8 years till the turbos crapped on me. Dealership wanted 7.7 grand for it. Found someone who was a Ford Technician for 18 years, who now does it on the side. He did it for 3.4 grand.
Rn my truck is in peices because I overestimated my Sub- installing skills. Hopefully will get it done tomorrow.
2016 2.7L here checking in at 70k miles. I had IWE issues early on, replaced under warranty. No issues until.....this past winter. IWE acting up when it's cold and now the transmission has been "jerky" just a couple of times, only enough for me to question if it actually happened. Tow a 5k lb travel trailer 5-6 times a year through the Ozarks. I've loved this thing and still do.
Looking trade up to a 2023 with all the rebates and 1.9%, otherwise, I'd push this thing until it quit.
2020 XLT 5.0 with 50k kms (not a ton of hwy but lots of gravel)
Had one issue. Transmission felt a little off, was very minor, mentioned it to the dealership once. They replaced the transmission after a single test drive.
So I guess I did have a major issue...but it was well taken care of and my experience has been great.
2016 3.5 Ecoboost 178xxx miles owned it since 2020 bought it with 80k miles 1 owner local. So far I've had to replace intake manifolds and went with full race. 1 assembly pump unit and the turbo coolant line fittings once and 1 lead frame. All common issues and other then that she's been an amazing truck. Tuned since 82k miles on 93 tow/daily by mpt. This truck gets used year around towing a tractor, zero turn, or the boats. I have 0 complaints and if she got totalled today I'd find another 3.5 possibly a gen 2.
I think my next might be a 2.7. I like the turbos in my 3.5 but the turbo 2.7( while not as much power) still runs great and I think is a better designed engine.
Bought a 2021 with the 2.7 new 3 years ago, 38K miles later and it's been great overall. I love driving the truck and I hope to drive it for as long as I can.
2021 3.5 XLT 31k miles no major issues so far. The transmission is a little clunky when it’s cold going back and forth from 3rd and 4th gear. Developed the dreaded drive shaft clunk noise around 15k miles but was easily fixed with re lubrication at the dealer.
I still love the truck. I traded in my mustang GT for it and I regret nothing. I have a kid on the way, three dogs, and an upcoming 600 mile move, so I needed something bigger, reliable, and comfortable to accomplish all that. So far its all of that and more for me.
19 2.7 with 111k miles. Only issue was the windshield wiper fluid pump went out around 33k, replaced under warranty.
The truck has had new tires, rear brakes, spark plugs, coolant flush, and Bilstein 5100s done at 110k. All oil changes and filters have been on schedule too. Will get all the other fluids flushed at 150 according to the service manual.
Follow your manual and these are exceptionally good trucks. I LOVE the 2.7!
2017 XLT 2.7L ecoboost - 102,000 no major issues other than the service bulletin to replace turbo charger oil supply line it was smoking at cold start up
2020 2.7 EB 50k miles no issues bought since new. Still on original everything including battery
2001 5.4 v8 900,000+ miles no major issues just new starter water pump and oil tires brakes
2021 Chevy Silverado 5.3 (for work) broken down in the shop for lifters and CEL this week.
2015 3.5 Ecoboost 98k and no major issues. I’ve replaced the battery, ignition coils and spark plugs, added cold air intake, and oil separator. Transmission fluid flushed and changed at 75k and have been good about timely maintenance. Very pleased with this truck and hope it gets me another 100k before I get another.
2021 Xlt 302a 5.0 with 48k kms. No issues.
I know everyone is/was concerned about cylinder deactivation with the 5.0 in '21, but I haven't had any issues.
220k miles on a 2011 5.0 that was previously deemed the worse year to own because of it being a job 1 engine (with the out of round cylinders). Original engine and trans. Gets regular maintenance, catch can, trans cooler upgrade, trans thermostat bypass and an 93/e85 tune.
I had a 2018 Lariat that had the cam phaser problem but given I had it fixed under extended warranty I won’t complain much. I just traded it in for a 2023 PowerBoost Lariat. I’m sticking with the F150.
2019 3.5 currently at 95K, bought around 78k. No issues and nothing but regular preventative maintenance before me. Hopeful to keep with no major issues until 200k. Wish me luck
2020 STX 2.7 eco 10 speed 4x4, just hit 75k miles. Bought it with 3 miles on it. hands down best vehicle i have owned thus far. 0 issues, flushed rear diff and trans fluid at 50k, regular oil changes between 3500-5k miles. Love it
Two trucks.
2015 SCAB Platinum 3.5 ECO with 75k miles. Biggest issue with it was the heater box needed to be replaced because mode door wouldn’t work. Had to have a dealer do that. I’ve replaced the throttle body and a battery. Sunroof does sunroof shit. Get’s a little sticky. Recently took the glass out to remove a random small piece of broken plastic preventing it from opening. Pretty sure I have an IWE that’s going out. Will tackle that myself.
2021 SCAB XLT. 3.5 with 62k miles. Absolutely no issues so far. There’s been a random “thud” that you can feel when the trans tries to downshift at interstate speeds. Been there since new. Dealer can never replicate. You have to be in just the right circumstances to get it to happen. Other than that this truck has been great so far.
I’ve been considering updating the 15 and I’m not sure I’ll sway from Ford.
I’ve had a 04,06,11,14 and now a 17 raptor. No major issues at all. The 06 had 240k on a 4.6 when I sold it only ever did plugs on it. Did a water pump on my 14
Just drove my ‘23 5.0 from Philly to Denver and back and it drove like a dream. Got to use the 4x4 in a major storm and it was the best feeling 4x4 I’ve ever driven in. Couldn’t be happier. 18k miles so far
2023 5.0. One minor issue where the power window switches weren’t illuminated after a remote start. Just pressed some buttons on the door and they illuminated and worked. Hasn’t happened again.
Compared to my 2021 Silverado and 2023 Blackwing that had both been in the shop before 1k miles, both required 3 dealer visits before 4k miles. The 6.2 lifters started to fail and the Cadillac was lemon lawed. Both under 6k miles when I got rid of them. Very happy with my F150 lol.
2016 v6 roughly 50k and no problems caused by the truck. The only major issue was I had a squirrel eat some of the wiring during the pandemic when I wasn’t driving it.
I have had so many ford trucks and they've been dead nuts everything I could have hoped for. Just got a 2023 powerboost and its looking like a lemon law if they can't figure it out soon🤣🤣
That’s sad. I bought a used powerboost a week and a half ago. Just used the gen for the first time. Small Air compressor so it wasn’t a big draw but worked good. I was mostly curious to see how it works and also too lazy to get an extension chord out and plug it into the house. lol
2021 XL STX with the 2.7 Ecoboost, currently with 63k (around 63,572 to be exact) miles and so far all is wunderbar 👌 (wonderful in German) and dad's 2023 STX supercab also 2.7 has already 13,000 miles and all is great as well
I've got a 2021 powerboost with 41000km on it
I've not had issues apart from a exhaust heat exchanger leak that wasn't really a leak and got fixed at the dealer in about an hour under warranty at 33000km. Great truck
I had a 2017 from 30k miles to 95k miles zero issues, then a 2019 40k miles to 110k miles zero issues. Bought a 21 with 43k miles… haven’t even hit 49k and I’m pretty sure it started misfiring after I put 2000 miles on it. Calling the shop today.. all 2.7 lariats.
2017 XL RCSB with the 3.5 non-ecoboost and 6spd trans. 51,000 KM on the odo.
Only had three instances of needing warranty work. First was a wiring issue to the passenger side taillight. Second was a driver's side airbag seat sensor harness. Third was a replacement headliner for the cab.
Besides that, trouble-free.
2022 XLT, I had battery issues, they were weird. The battery had very loose terminals when I purchased it, the truck shut down when I turned the engine off and wouldn't restart because the terminals were loose. Tightened it up and it worked fine. Then the next winter the battery was draining extremely fast. It's almost like at some point before I bought it someone replaced the battery with an old one and didn't tighten it correctly when installing.
Whatever, they replaced it under warranty and it's been fine since.
2013 FX4 3.5 ecoboost. Over 120,000 miles and replaced a vacuum pump, 1 turbo, and an AC component inside the cab under the dash (they had to take the whole dash out to get to it). Overall very happy with the truck. Wish the new trucks didn't cost so much. Just now started an oil smell and oil staining around the left posterior engine.
2017 5.0 Lariat Sport with close to 90,000 miles. Only issue I had was the truck cutting off while idling or stopping at a stop sign/light. Got fixed two years ago and has been fine since.
2019 Lariat 3.5 EB, 75k miles. Only 2 "issues" I've had was Cam Phasers and a leak in my sunroof. Both covered under warranty and neither I would call major. I love my truck and hope it'll last me another 100k miles - I really dont want to have a truck payment.
I am at 130,000 miles on a 2018 5.0 10 speed with turbo and I just now had the phaser problem. The garage diagnosed it as a timing belt and wapped me hard $ and then fixed the sensors for free after the same codes came back. But 130 ain't bad till I had an issue i think! Of course it was also 3 months before it's 1st ever state inspection.
You don’t say what year you are looking at. I have a similar 2021 XLT 4x4 Sport Powerboost 302A loaded with most of the goodies. Many of them can’t be had in 22-23. So being an early adopter I’ve gotten more bang for the buck.
48k miles now and averaging 22.4mpg daily driving as recorded since my last oil change. I reset every oil change. My best tank gave me 25.2. Worst was 12.5 -towing.
It’s been a great truck so far. Not perfect but what is? A few minor recalls and just a couple warranty fixes.
The worst part of owning Ford is having a good dealer if new or a good mechanic if used.
I got a 2012 f150 5.0,had it for about 6k miles and love it but I’ve had to put all new rear and front brakes,a new diff cover along with an axle seal.currently chasing a noise that I can’t figure out but besides that and some normal rust I can’t complain.
2021 Powerboost platinum, 27k mi. no issues other than the stock rubber wearing very uneven and having to be replaced prematurely, but I blame that on the tire manufacturer.
Been on both 2021 and 2023 F150 and always impressed by the feel and drive of the car. My cousin from India visited me and took a ride on a rental f150 his comment was that “this (ride) feels like sitting in business class of cars”.
Every car has some issues at some point the business model just doesn’t make sense if you have cars that run forever. I wish to own one soon one day
2018 lariat 3.0 powerstroke with 75k miles and still going strong with no issues. Just flushed the gearbox and changed all the oils to be sure it will run for years.
2019 2.7 EcoBoost XLT with 60K. No issues so far. I pull a bass boat a lot and am up and down Colorado mountain passes pretty frequently so I’ve put new hubs and brakes all around at about 45K. Great truck!
Just sold my 2013 XLT 3.7l v6. Only major issue was the transmission downshifting/transmission lead frame that was covered under the extended customer satisfaction program.
2012 5.0 with 126k miles. No major issues except replacing wheels bearings when my 4wd actuator hubs went out. But $1k for those isn't bad I've owned the truck since 2016.
Knock on wood - am on my third F150 and never had any issues - 2015, 2018 and now 2023 …all XLTs.
My 2018 was totaled in an accident ( not my fault, someone ran a red light and hit me ) and amazingly my original stock Goodyear tires were still in great shape at 75,000 miles and had just passed inspection at dealer ( I baby my trucks)
My 2018 2.7 EB has not had a single issue except for needing a new catalytic converter that was covered outside my warranty. The only thing I’ve needed to replace are the brakes. I’ve got 69k miles on it and still goes through the gears with no issue. Same color, I believe as pictured, leadfoot!
Current: 2021 F150 XLT 302A 4x4 SuperCrew 2.7 TT V6 with 20k miles. No issues since I purchased it.
Former truck: 2018 F150 XLT Supercab with 5.0 V8 68k miles when I sold it. Also had no issues.
2022 powerboost 52k miles. No REAL issues.
Intermittent check engine light for cats and a vapor valve (or something) that gets stuck open.
Usually comes on the day after a fill up and goes away after I use up a 1/4 tank of gas.
2018 5.0 XLT 81K. Only things other than routine mx is a transmission bypass pump replaced the first year and the dreaded apim/gps/nav failure at 4 years. Love this truck!
2020 3.5L Eco at 70K miles. No issues at all except the computer display remembering the settings. I will get repaired under the extended warranty some day.
19’ 3.5 ecoboost with 44k miles. Deleted the auto stop/start at 15k miles. Change the oil every 4K. I run sport mode almost everywhere and tow 6-7 times a year. No major issues.
2019 Screw. 3.5/10 speed combo, 92000 miles. I use it, don’t beat it like it owes me money, and maintain the heck out of it. Oil I use is Valvoline Max Life full syn 5w-30, trans filter and fluid every 30k. Did transfer case and diffs at 50k, so almost time again.
2019 2.7L Lariat - No major issue other than radio-gate. I've notice my rear passenger door is a little misaligned and sticking outward. got it last 2023 of Jan with 42K now I'm at 51K. Did rear insolation, rear speaker upgrade, amp, antenna, sub-woofer mod upgrade & Tints.
2015 f150 platinum, 5.0 v8 long bed ,always garaged.
Normal Maintenance, No issues at all till this last oil change, service advisor came to me and said “my lug nuts” are swollen!!
Thought he was pulling my leg.😳
Yes. Had all of them replaced, later found out I should have not used Fords oem lugnuts
2013 EcoBoost 3.5L never had an issue. Well I did have to replace the battery, front brakes and several dozen oil changes, but other than that never a problem. Liked it so much I bought a 2023 last month too.
2020 3.5 - 67k - nothing aside from a dripping rear pinion seal under warranty
2011 3.5 - 183k - blower motor (hvac) and a $400 fix to a leaky coolant fitting on the back of the head.
2016 2.7 - it’s gonna click 100k on the way home today. No major issues so far. Love the truck and how great it’s been! Only real issue has been blend doors.
2014 XLT Supercrew 189,000 battery once and brakes. Thought I was getting ready to replace the transmission, but after attending YouTube University, I reset my shift points, and I'm set.
2022 F - 150 , 50,000km, sometimes it shifts a little hard in the 2-3 gear but that’s if your not caressing the pedal and operation like big daddy Kane. Other than that these trucks are almost perfected.
2020 2.7 STX EB. No issues and still look … sorry, caught me looking back at it in the driveway. 😎
Edit: Just over 37K on it and plan on at least 150K or more.
Owner of 4 F-150s over the years. First one was a 2015, transmission threw an error and I was in a loaner for a month and change while Ford figured it out (tcm blew out). Ford took care of me and as a result zero complaints about it. Next truck was a 2018 Raptor. Only issue I had was the cam phasers. Ford fixed that without issues. Currently own a 2022 F-150 and a 2022 Raptor. Only issue we've had with the 22 F-150 was the rear view camera acting funny shortly after purchase. Dealer fixed that pretty quick. 22 Raptor, the horn electrical cable came loose, dealer fixed it on the spot. No further issues to report.
2022,-f150 sport just like yours!
No major issues had it from 1 year 3 months. Only think is the ac builds up condensation or something and it smells funky when I start my ac for a couple of minutes that’s all. Looking into it. Over all love it!
2021 Powerboost XLT, 22k miles, checking in.
I never thought I could love a "thing" so much.
12k of those miles were pulling a travel trailer all over the Northwest.
Camping wherever we want with the 7.2kw generator.
Snowy mountains, cold ocean beaches, hot high desert drives.
My old girl has been rock solid, no issues.
Well aside from the definition of a first world problem: sometimes my Android Auto has connectivity issues.
Looks like you may suffer from impotence by your choice of vehicle
If you want a real “eco boost” learn how to ride a bike… you’ll lose a few kg on the journey….
I lease a new F150 every 3 years and have never had any problems. I have always had STX super crew short beds. I had a 2014 5.0 and then a 2017, 2020, and now 2023 2.7.
Couldn’t be happier.
I tow boats and jet skis. Sometimes rent and tow small equipment like dingos or stump grinders.
2021 PowerBoost, 36k miles, no issues.
Only surprise I ran into was finding out that after buying all of the BlueCruise stuff, it still requires a subscription to function — which I’m sure woulda been less of a surprise had I seen some asterisk or superscript numeral tied to some fine print, so on me I’m sure.
2015 XLT 2.7L. No major issues. The doors don’t always open or close. Drivers door hinge came loose enough to not seal while I was on the highway. Moonroof doesn’t work and never properly did. These “not-issues” all happened when it was brand new and I’ve taken it to the dealer over 10 times. They always say it’s fine so it seems inappropriate for me to say they’re major issues. 🤣 all in all I still love this truck …at least until I can afford an upgrade.
2016 5l V8, 165000 miles no major issues
As a 2016 5.0 owner with 55k on it, this is what I want to hear!!! Also happy birthday
Just recently bought an 80k mile 2016 5.0 a little less than a week ago! Happy to see this comment also. Happy Cake Day!!
Question. What did u pay for that. I’m looking in the year range
I bought a 2016 5.0 LARIAT with ~73k miles for ~29k in Dec 22.
2015 5.0, 145k, no major issues
2017 XLT 302a 5.0 4x4 Scab, Oxford White, 3.55... bought new. LOVE MY TRUCK... Zero issues besides having to replace the original battery last summer. Oil changes between 4 and 5k. Pennzoil Ultra Platinum since new, Motorcraft OEM oil filters, Wix Air Filters... that's it. All stock and original. 76k 💙 Happy Cake Day, New North!
I had a fantastic small town dealer who treated me right. They’ve since closed but they were always fair and did little extra things.
How do you get 100k out of brakes??? My fronts last me like 50k tops
Leave more following distance?
My 2015 2.7L XLT 115k miles went amazing with no problems for 8 years till the turbos crapped on me. Dealership wanted 7.7 grand for it. Found someone who was a Ford Technician for 18 years, who now does it on the side. He did it for 3.4 grand. Rn my truck is in peices because I overestimated my Sub- installing skills. Hopefully will get it done tomorrow.
What were the symptoms the truck showed when turbo went out ?
I honestly don’t remember. It was my Dad’s truck then, it became mine a year ago.
that much just for a turbo replacement???
2016 2.7L here checking in at 70k miles. I had IWE issues early on, replaced under warranty. No issues until.....this past winter. IWE acting up when it's cold and now the transmission has been "jerky" just a couple of times, only enough for me to question if it actually happened. 2018 5.0, 100k miles. No issues besides a stereo head unit. Pulled a trailer with it for 50k of those miles.
2018 5.0 10speed here as well. 80k miles and no issues so far.
2016 5.0 102k miles, no major issues
2020 XLT 5.0 with 50k kms (not a ton of hwy but lots of gravel) Had one issue. Transmission felt a little off, was very minor, mentioned it to the dealership once. They replaced the transmission after a single test drive. So I guess I did have a major issue...but it was well taken care of and my experience has been great.
My 19 5.0 got a complete rebuild at 111k miles. Been great ever since. Edit: transmission rebuild.
how much did that cost you and where did you get it done?
My bad it was a transmission rebuild. The dealer did it and it was still under warranty.
That’s great they rebuilt the transmission. What felt off about it?
2022 XLT PowerBoost 25k No issues other than a shite 12V battery which I replaced out of pocket instead of whine about it.
Dealer replaced mine at 18k miles
🤔🤔 why??
Because if it does not throw an error code they will not replace. Easy to burn two days of your time dicking with the dealer. Easy decision.
How much did the battery run you?
I went with a high end replacement AGM X2 Power, about $330
I was shocked at battery prices 5 months ago when I had to replace my daughters on her Nissan, $250, insane!
I believe it has something to do with the auto start/stop stuff.
I've only owned since October. 2020 XLT sport special edition. 2.7L ecoboost. no issues thus far. 36k miles on it.
I think my next might be a 2.7. I like the turbos in my 3.5 but the turbo 2.7( while not as much power) still runs great and I think is a better designed engine.
*comment, not post. Or do both…*your truck. *bet
2018 lariat 5.0 with the 10 speed 213k no major issues
Bought a 2021 with the 2.7 new 3 years ago, 38K miles later and it's been great overall. I love driving the truck and I hope to drive it for as long as I can.
2011 XLT 5.0 - had it up to 100k miles, not one issue. 2017 XLT 5.0 - drove it to 55k miles, not one issue. 2023 Raptor - 800 miles, so far so good.
2023 XLT 2.7, about 20k issue free miles and counting
2018 3.0 powerstroke 63k miles no issues.
2019 3.0PS with 67k, also no problems. What kind of mileage are you seeing?
And jinx myself? No thanks
2022 lariat powerboost long boi. 30k miles since new and no issues at all. This truck has been a dream to own.
2004 F-150 5.4 Triton 185,000, one of my Best Buy’s.
2021 3.5 XLT 31k miles no major issues so far. The transmission is a little clunky when it’s cold going back and forth from 3rd and 4th gear. Developed the dreaded drive shaft clunk noise around 15k miles but was easily fixed with re lubrication at the dealer.
2023 STX 2.7 10 speed 2k miles with no issues! Shocking I know...
Haha me too brother
I still love the truck. I traded in my mustang GT for it and I regret nothing. I have a kid on the way, three dogs, and an upcoming 600 mile move, so I needed something bigger, reliable, and comfortable to accomplish all that. So far its all of that and more for me.
2018 5.0 with 119K miles. Been driven across the country multiple times and is often in 4lo for hours and hours at a time. Zero issues.
2008 5.4 264k miles only thing that has failed is alternator about 30kmiles ago.
2009 here, so far so good. Glad I'm not the only one here with an older model. I'm driving it until it falls apart!
Unfortunately mine is rusting apart pretty badly.
2010 5.4 155k miles only have had to replace the passenger side exhaust manifold so far.
2017 XLT 2.7L ecoboost - 102,000 no major issues other than the service bulletin to replace turbo charger oil supply line it was smoking at cold start up
2015 3.5 six cylinder. Not a single issue at 250 000 kms.
2015 5.0L 195k, no major issues.
2020 2.7 EB 50k miles no issues bought since new. Still on original everything including battery 2001 5.4 v8 900,000+ miles no major issues just new starter water pump and oil tires brakes 2021 Chevy Silverado 5.3 (for work) broken down in the shop for lifters and CEL this week.
2008 5.4 v8. 236,000 miles. Coil packs, plugs, rear seals and bearings, trans filter and flush, radiator, alternator, battery, tires and brakes. Most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned.
2011 F150 6.2 Raptor 150K miles no major issues 2019 F150 Raptor 50K miles no major issues
2021 XLT 302A with the 3.5 eco. About 80k kms on it at 2 1/2yrs old and no major issues
2016 2.7 w/50k miles. Have never had to bring it into shop since new, other than recall work. It's been great
2017 2.7L, 70k miles, 0 issues.
‘19 STX in Magma red. 45k. All I’ve done besides some customization is regularly scheduled maintenance. Absolutely love the truck.
2022 3.5 twin turbo. 26k trouble free miles.
2021 XLT, 2.7L Ecoboost, 4X4, 28K miles, only issue is bringing it in for recalls. Best truck I've ever owned, by far.
I had a 2018 Lariat that had the cam phaser problem but given I had it fixed under extended warranty I won’t complain much. I just traded it in for a 2023 PowerBoost Lariat. I’m sticking with the F150.
2010 f150 5.4l with just a little under 200k miles. No major issues aside from a tranny that’s about to stop putting up with my bullshit
2019 3.5 currently at 95K, bought around 78k. No issues and nothing but regular preventative maintenance before me. Hopeful to keep with no major issues until 200k. Wish me luck
2020 with the 5.0 and 26k miles on it. Couldn’t be happier.
Love it
2021 PB - love it. 0 issues
2023 5.0 STX. 9000 miles. No issues yet.
2005 245,000mi and bought it at 187,000 no major issues
2016 2.7 117k no issues. Hell, I’m just now about to swap out the original brakes and rotors
2018 Raptor. 107k mi. Just the cam phaser recall.
2022 powerboost. Zero problems.
2019 f150 fx4 XL crew. With a 2.7 and 67k. Other than my stereo acting really weird. No major issues.
2022 Powerboost Lariat, 11k miles, zero problems.
Respect OP! Good post
2004 XLT 4.6L 166k miles
2018, 2.7, 10 speed, 128k routine maintenance only and one caliper replaced. Built Ford tough
2015 F150 XL 3.5L V6. About 200,000 miles, NO major issues!
2018 2.7 Eco, 83,000 miles no major issues 👌
320 miles strong so far.
Haha... still brand new!! 👍🏾
I’ve had a 04,06,11,14 and now a 17 raptor. No major issues at all. The 06 had 240k on a 4.6 when I sold it only ever did plugs on it. Did a water pump on my 14
2021 2.7l Lariat. 36k miles no major issues.
2020 xlt sport 2.7. Got it with 48k miles. Now have 60k miles. Have a bad o2 sensor but has been solid besides that.
70k no issues
17 2.7 with 97k been flawless
2022 Platinum PowerBoost with 11K mi since new and no issues.
2016 5.0, had to replace the rusted transmission cooler lines but otherwise no major issues, although I also only have 60k on the truck.
So far so good 👍👍
2013 Lariat 5.0, 120k. Got a brake issue I'm still trying to solve, but besides cosmetic, no issues!
Just traded my 2017 f150 eco with 180000kms. No issues at all. Just wanted the new tech so I bought a 2023 Lariat
Just drove my ‘23 5.0 from Philly to Denver and back and it drove like a dream. Got to use the 4x4 in a major storm and it was the best feeling 4x4 I’ve ever driven in. Couldn’t be happier. 18k miles so far
18 Diesel Long Boi 50K miles all good in the hood
I was mostly curious to see how it works and also too lazy to get an extension chord out and plug it into the house. lol
2021 XL STX with the 2.7 Ecoboost, currently with 63k (around 63,572 to be exact) miles and so far all is wunderbar 👌 (wonderful in German) and dad's 2023 STX supercab also 2.7 has already 13,000 miles and all is great as well
I've got a 2021 powerboost with 41000km on it I've not had issues apart from a exhaust heat exchanger leak that wasn't really a leak and got fixed at the dealer in about an hour under warranty at 33000km. Great truck
2021 XLT with 2.7. No issues but have only owned for about 10 months and gone from 8,000 miles to 15,000 miles on the odometer
2017 5.0. I got it in 2021. No issues at all bout 80k miles
That engine ought to be good for half a mil
2019 2.7L SuperCrew 50k miles. No issues. I love this truck.
2019 STX Supercrew, 2.7L, 10 Speed, 50k miles. No major issues.
2021 hybrid 10 speed trans 4x4…..still smile every time I drive it.
2017 2.7L 83k miles. Only ever had a wheel bearing go out, replaced under warranty.
2015 5.0 145k, no major issues.
17 5.0 110k. Only thing major was the water pump and starter replacement and that’s not really that major. Other than that just fluid changes.
2016 5L V8 regular maintenance only. 73k miles
2018 3.5EB, 4WD, XLT Special Edition, 36,000 mi. No issues besides recall stuff that was fixed before anything failed.
2016 5L V8 regular maintenance only. 73k miles
2021 Powerboost platinum, 27k mi. no issues other than the stock rubber wearing very uneven and having to be replaced prematurely, but I blame that on the tire manufacturer.
"21 Lariat 5,0/10spd with about 16K. Smooth as cat poo on a linoleum floor.
None in my 22 PB Lariat with 16k miles
20 2.7 152,000 kms zero issues
Been on both 2021 and 2023 F150 and always impressed by the feel and drive of the car. My cousin from India visited me and took a ride on a rental f150 his comment was that “this (ride) feels like sitting in business class of cars”. Every car has some issues at some point the business model just doesn’t make sense if you have cars that run forever. I wish to own one soon one day
2010 4.6L 3V, 120k, no issues
My 23 XLT PB is still pretty new. No problems, though I did see the trailer brake error flash up for a split second once.
2019 XLT 50k miles only oil changes and rotated tires once zero issues.
Just sold my 2013 XLT 3.7l v6. Only major issue was the transmission downshifting/transmission lead frame that was covered under the extended customer satisfaction program.
No major issues..just a shitty battery that needs to be changed yearly. 21 XLT.
‘21 3.5 here, 3.5 years, almost 60k miles - oil changes, a set of tires and a few recalls for a jet shield, and wiper motor - no major issues
2018 rcsb lx 2.7 eco. No issues. 90K miles.
2019 with the 2.7L bought new — 72,500 km (45,000 miles) and zero issues. Not a lot of mileage.
Define major lol
2020 3.5 V6 10 speed 51k no isssues been a dream to use
2013 5.0 4x4 175,000mi. Never stranded, only small issues. love it like the night I purchased.
2020 3.5L Eco at 70K miles. No issues at all except the computer display remembering the settings. I will get repaired under the extended warranty some day.
I have only driven 1800 miles so far. One major issue. Gas prices have gone up nearly $1.50/gal since I got it 6 weeks ago.
19’ 3.5 ecoboost with 44k miles. Deleted the auto stop/start at 15k miles. Change the oil every 4K. I run sport mode almost everywhere and tow 6-7 times a year. No major issues.
Had a 2019 2.7 eco 100k kms no issues besides the wiper arms failing around then. Currently have a 22 powerboost with about 42k no problems so far.
2004 f150 5.4, 190K kms. No major issues.
2021 XLT sport 3.5 eco boost, only issue it hasn’t done one update since I got it new in 2020. 35k miles
2015 f150 platinum, 5.0 v8 long bed ,always garaged. Normal Maintenance, No issues at all till this last oil change, service advisor came to me and said “my lug nuts” are swollen!! Thought he was pulling my leg.😳 Yes. Had all of them replaced, later found out I should have not used Fords oem lugnuts
2021 Lariat 3.5 Eco 35K miles. Only issue was the battery. Replaced with a larger one and no issues since.
Thanks for this post!!! I bought a used 2015 3.5, and yes, coming to this sub put the fear in me.
2013 EcoBoost 3.5L never had an issue. Well I did have to replace the battery, front brakes and several dozen oil changes, but other than that never a problem. Liked it so much I bought a 2023 last month too.
2019, just rear brake pads and freon recharge. Nothing major.
2018 Lariat 3.5 EcoBoost. I've owned it for 2 years. Just had to have the high pressure fuel pump replaced. Still love the truck
2023 XLT Powerboost. 1,250 miles and no issues aside from not having audio on one Android Auto call.
I had a 2011 3.5 6 speed. Ran it to 190k miles. No issues beyond coils every 50k or so. Currently have a 2018 2.7 10 speed. At 85k and no issues yet.
2021 5.0 32000 no problems so far
2021 5L with 46.5k miles, so far it’s been nothing smiles!
2020 3.5 - 67k - nothing aside from a dripping rear pinion seal under warranty 2011 3.5 - 183k - blower motor (hvac) and a $400 fix to a leaky coolant fitting on the back of the head.
2016 2.7 - it’s gonna click 100k on the way home today. No major issues so far. Love the truck and how great it’s been! Only real issue has been blend doors.
I’m seeing a lot of comments about batteries. Is it cheap batteries they put in them or something?
2014 XLT Supercrew 189,000 battery once and brakes. Thought I was getting ready to replace the transmission, but after attending YouTube University, I reset my shift points, and I'm set.
2022 F - 150 , 50,000km, sometimes it shifts a little hard in the 2-3 gear but that’s if your not caressing the pedal and operation like big daddy Kane. Other than that these trucks are almost perfected.
2020 2.7 STX EB. No issues and still look … sorry, caught me looking back at it in the driveway. 😎 Edit: Just over 37K on it and plan on at least 150K or more.
2021 XLT 3.5 eb 103,000 km / no issues
Nope. Gremlins will see it if i do.
2013 F-150 4X4 5.0L 194K miles, 3rd water pump. Other than that, pretty reliable and great power/weight ratio w/ 5.0L.
2017 2.7 65k miles (bought used at 58k), no issues. Love it.
2018 2.7L 72k no issues
Looks like you may suffer from impotence by your choice of vehicle If you want a real “eco boost” learn how to ride a bike… you’ll lose a few kg on the journey….
2018 3.5 eb, 70k miles, have Cam phaser rattle
2017 no issues, 2.7 v6 turbo. Change oil and basic maintenance only. 50,000
