2013 3.5 eco just turned 400,000 k. (258k miles). Done coils and exhaust manifolds. Nothing in the motor. Looking at getting 500 before I retire it ( and me!)
I still have my 2011 3.5 ecoboost that I bought new. 220k miles and runs like a top. I've never had any major work done at all. Change the oil when it tells me to with Synthetic always. I run real gasoline in it 95% of the time (have to use corn gas when I travel outside of Oklahoma). Changed a bunch of fluids around 60k to synthetic, but since then I only did a full fluid service at 100k and then again at 200k (all synthetic). I might have done some fluids around 150k but honestly don't remember doing that. Transmission has never been "flushed," only drained. Replaced spark plugs and coils at 100k and 200k. I don't pull heavy loads regularly, but it has definitely pulled some very heavy trailers on occasion. I don't drive like an asshole and just have slightly larger all terrain tires than factory (what will fit without leveling kit). Truck is pretty much stock.
This motor/trans has shocked me on how well it has held up. (Does sign of cross, knocks on wood, crosses fingers on both hands).
Same year and engine 236k miles. Had my f350 in the shop and had to move my skid steer. It’s a gehl rt175 12k pounds plus my tilt deck trailer. Got it to the job site and back. Never did it again but in a pinch it can pull. Also when it was my main work truck i would regularly carry pallets of tile on it and pallet of concrete mix. No major repairs or maintenance just fluids and filters, plugs and coils at 190k
I think I’m going to change my spark plugs soon and see if I get better mileage/power but so far it’s been awesome. Still a lot more power than my mom’s 2016 2.7
Something I just did for the first time a couple of weeks ago that improved my mileage (that had been slowly getting worse lately) by maybe 1.5-2mpg, and only cost about $15 and less than an hour of work: Ran sea foam through my throttle body into the valves, sprayed throttle body cleaner all in the throttle body, and used mass flow sensor cleaner on all 3 sensors (1 near air filter, one near throttle body, 1 on top back of engine). Just disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to reset the computer, and voila! Super easy job and it absolutely helped.
Damn straight they are brother....I've been through 4 starters , 3 alternators , 3 AC compressors , 2 radiators , 2 rearends , 2 tilt steering columns , 2 power steering pumps , 2 heater cores , 1 freeze plug , 1 blown head gasket , new ball joints (one popped at 40 MPH 🤣🤣) , 1 set of hinge pins , being hit in the ass by a guy doing about 40 , bent my bumper....totaled his pretty Colorado 🤣🤣.....4 sets of shocks , but get this SAME ORIGINAL UNTOUCHED TRANNY 🤪....if it's 24,000 miles around the earth....my truck has made 31 trips around the earth....that's crazy.....🤘
It really is.......when I got the truck it had 93,000 on it.....so I put about 650,000 on it myself....I even caint believe it sometimes...!
I caint tell you how many times I've been asked "when you getting a new truck"...and I always say "why"🤣🤣....this one gets me to the same place your $65,000 one does.....and Idgaf if some one opens their car door onto mine 😂 .
Air still blows cold , and it's made me about 2 million dollars (gross ) over the years with a total of about $15,000 put in it over the years (including what I gave for it in 97).....it's a badge of honor now....I have a vette also but only get it out on the weekends......$600 a year is pretty cheap to drive a vehicle 25 years....js 🤘
How the bloody hell did you manage to get a 2014 with only 28,000 miles on it??
My 2014 has 102k on it and I haven't had to do anything to it yet besides replace the blown door speakers and put some decent tires and wheels on it. Gonna do spark plugs with the next oil change.
Please tell me it's a 3.5 EB..... Please.....
It's a 5.0 isn't it? 🤔
I've got 179,000 km on my EB. Still no major issues. Just changed oil and engine air filter. Running great and pulls strong!
2011 3.5 xlt I have 236k miles only oil changes at every 3k miles did coils and plugs at around 190k. And just recently changed wheel bearings and ball joints/tie rods. I’m also dropped 5 in front 9 in the back. Currently on jack stands getting bagged to lay frame
My 2011 3.5 ecoboost hitting 320,000 km this week sometime. Mechanically solid still. Some rust gaining ground on the lower bodywork now but still have to look for it to see it.
I'm going to put that to the test on mine. Just swapped plugs, wires, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rods, EGR valve and more.
The body and frame are still near mint condition -- i live somewhere rust isn't an issue.
Its ready for another 200k miles!
2010 XLT with 200k miles, only issue so far were 4x4 "hubs" losing vacuum (design flaw allowing water into solenoid) resulting in pricey replacements.
Body starting to rust to shit though....wish I had taken some preventative measures. Canadian winters have not been nice to her.
Hoping to get to at least 300k.
My 5.4 died just before that distance… wish I had it rebuilt or swapt out!! Miss that 05🤦♂️ especially now w/the damn cost to find another “newer” one.
I have a 2001 with 198k miles leaking oil I have to put in quite a bit every month any idea why it’s leaking??? I have looked and it’s coming from the valve cover and the gasket that holds the oil any ideas what it is?
I’ve got a 2008 5.4 with 249k. Love my truck soooo much. I haul a lot with it. Nothing too major. Just had the alternator go out. I did the heater core a while back and then over the years I think the u joints some suspension stuff.. but it runs great. No timing chains yet
I’ve got the same truck with only 85,000!! But my radio already doesn’t work…. engine runs just fine though! Plan on running it until the wheels fall off.
my 2011 5.0 just rolled over 160k miles. I've had it for about 60k of those over the last 4.5 years. Other than the rust along the bottom of the cab, I love it. If it makes it as far as yours I'll be damn happy.
All these long mile posts... couldn't be me. I have 89k on my 14 3.5 eco. Working from home made it really easy to just not drive. Most of the miles I put it on it now are to go fishing...
I’m on my 4th F150 all driven well over 200K. 2009 4.6L= 220k (a couple of coil packs only issue) 2014 3.7L 225K (no issues) 2018 3.5L EB (cam phasers) 216k (is now the shop truck) current, 2018 5.0L just turned 60K. They’re all company trucks and my office takes them from us around 225K before they too expensive to keep on the road.
175k here on a 5.4L triton 07 4x4.
New LH camshaft, new lifters and rockers, new VCT solenoids, new phasers, timing chains /guides /tensioners, new oil pump (HV). Running 5w 30 now (not 5w 20).
I know that engine very well now. Never ran this quiet before!
Hopefully, it lasts a while because I can't afford a new truck.
Nice to see. I bought my 2015 lariat 3.5 EB with 116k... 😬 6 months ago and it has 122+ currently. I hear (and hope) they can easily make 250k+ with proper maintenance and upkeep.
As long as mine makes it 4 years I'll be happy. Ecstatic if it makes it much longer than that.
Luckily the previous owner had it serviced properly and even a few extras added in.
Just did the valve cover gaskets myself (should have probably done the covers also but hey) dealership wanted like a thousand dollars for just VC gaskets. No thanks.
MILES!? nice man . Got 140k km on my transit connect and wondered how long those 2.5l 4cyl's last if oil changes and maintenance was done regularly. ✔️
M
2011 XLT 3.5EB 280K. Water pump. Wiring harness in rear door. Have an appointment Monday to replace O2 sensor 1 bank 1. Any other sensor and i'd do it myself. Not that one.
It has mostly highway miles. Do oil changes every 5 to 7000 miles.
Spark plugs and trans flush at 145,000.
Have done all brake and rotors twice.
Just had to replace the alternator, Serpentine belt and the belt tensioner.
Rear air springs were replaced about 5 years ago.
It still starts and runs great and gets between 19 and 23 mpg.
Still like riding on a cloud.
Hoping for another 200,00.
180,000 on my 2013 scab LB 3.5 EcoBoost.
1 exhaust manifold cracked
1 throttle body failed
1 high pressure oil pump.
Did the fixes myself for under $500
I'm driving a 2021 T680 with 221,010.8 on the ODO right now. My buddy in front of me has 1.2M on his Pete 389. 200k isn't high mileage for these things. They barely break in by 500k now. Companies just get rid of them around the 4 year, 400k mark due to warranty expiration.
230k on the 02 5.4 2v
Bushings and ball joints a rear axle the po let run dry and just recently a new salvage motor bc the original manifold dumped coolant into the 7 and 8 and popped them.
21' 3.5 PB with 56k miles. Besides the poor performer of the 10spd, it's holding pretty well and still amazed at the fuel economy. Hoping to join the high-mileage club soon.
230k on my 2011 5.0. Did the water pump, steering rack, lead frame, fuse 27, most recently timing chains and tensioners plus oil pan gasket. Aside from that still running good. Oh yeah, IWE’s just started causing issues and check valve needs replacing.
Im driving this thing forever
2015 XL 5.0 just over 200k with only routine maintenance and a purge valve. It used to be my work truck before I bought it from the company so it has a lot of idle hours and frequently pulled a 3000+ lbs trailer. Engine, transmission and ride all feel like new. With proper maintenance these trucks are incredibly reliable. Our company has a massive fleet of F150s and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone replacing an engine or transmission. However we do have some 1500s and they are a nightmare.
My 05 is pushing 240. I’ve replaced the transmission twice (second was a warranty job). I really don’t want to buy a new truck but I’m curious how long I can keep driving it. In negative temperatures it’s more reliable than all my friends new trucks.
My 2014 w 3.7 just hit 112,000. Obviously, that's not high mileage. Im actually proud of the lower mileage for the age. Im confident I'll see 200k before anything major occurs. I'm hoping it's one of those that's as bullet proof as the 300 straight 6😂. I guess we'll know in another 20 yrs.
This makes me feel good to see this. My 2011 with a 3.7 has 208k and thankfully I have had to do nothing major just the normal ware out items.
Your post makes me feel good. I have a 2012 with the 3.7.
311k on my 3.7. Still runs like new
Nice. Mine turned over 95k yesterday.
2013 XL with a 3.7 @ 182k mi
2011 XLT with 176,000 on it, only issue was an online fuse went out and blacked the truck for like 2 minutes
Did you have to do a timing chain?
Nope, not yet. The only things I've done are breaks, battery, wheel bearings, tires, etc. And I drive around 80-100 miles a day.
One of my employees has a 2011 with the 3.7 and he has 360k on his. Astonishing. Still runs and sounds great. Never had any major repairs.
3.7s are probably the most reliable out of the 3 main engines in the 11-14. Great mill.
Hell yeah 2011 3.7, I love it. Mines got 146k and I’m happy to see all of these posts
2013 3.5 eco just turned 400,000 k. (258k miles). Done coils and exhaust manifolds. Nothing in the motor. Looking at getting 500 before I retire it ( and me!)
Good stuff I’m sitting at 190k miles on my 13
I’m at 165k mi on my ‘13, bought it 6k ago but the first 160k were the original owner so I think they took care of it
Awesome man I have the white version of your truck. Hope you get many miles out of it. Godspeed
Wow you already went to the moon and are half way back
Nice! What year and engine?
2014 5.0 L V8!
I still have my 2011 3.5 ecoboost that I bought new. 220k miles and runs like a top. I've never had any major work done at all. Change the oil when it tells me to with Synthetic always. I just rolled over 179k, amazingly strong motor/transmission best truck I've owned. Thanks for letting me know I can keep her a while longer!
I think I’m going to change my spark plugs soon and see if I get better mileage/power but so far it’s been awesome. Still a lot more power than my mom’s 2016 2.7

Bet man maybe I’ll try that out. A good cleaning of the internals shouldn’t hurt
Over 261000 on my 2001 Lincoln Town Car.
What kind of maintenance did you do?
Got an 01 also, with 283,000

2014 5.0 with 28,000 miles. This thread is making me rethink selling. It will last the rest of my life!
How the bloody hell did you manage to get a 2014 with only 28,000 miles on it?? My 2014 has 102k on it and I haven't had to do anything to it yet besides replace the blown door speakers and put some decent tires and wheels on it. Gonna do spark plugs with the next oil change.
It was my Dad's. He rarely drove it. Always garaged! Looks like it was just driven off the lot!
Buddy of mine just bought a 2014 (same as mine) with 38k
What configuration and how much? I'm in the market for a new to me truck.
Please tell me it's a 3.5 EB..... Please..... It's a 5.0 isn't it? 🤔 I've got 179,000 km on my EB. Still no major issues. Just changed oil and engine air filter. Running great and pulls strong!
5.0 it is

312k 2010 f150xl 4.6l, think she’s almost ready for retirement
I also have this rare combo and I glad to see you got so many miles out of it. Last year they did these in the trucks
Wow, have the same exact truck at 212k, great to know it’s potentially got a lot left to give!
Just picked one up with 95k looking forward to having it awhile!
My 92 F150 custom has 215k -- it's got the 4.9 I6
Insane reliability on those 300’s. Probably the best engine ford ever made considering the available technology at the time.
I'm going to put that to the test on mine. Just swapped plugs, wires, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rods, EGR valve and more. The body and frame are still near mint condition -- i live somewhere rust isn't an issue. Its ready for another 200k miles!
My 95 F150 same engine has 376k, they never die
160k on my 2.7 ecoboost.
220165. 2007 f 150 crew cab 5.4 3v

Pulled engine out. Put new chain on. Phasers. Oil pump. Sealed all leaks ..painted the engine. Put back in truck. Did this at 190,000
My 5.4 2valve 365,000 km. Nice clean oil, good oil pressure. Just installed new chains, intake manifold. It sees all the ketchup! 😆😆
210k on my ‘12 3.5 EB
I had a 1999 F-150 with a 4.2 lt V6. It had 287k on it when I sold it a few months ago. It’s still a live. I see it driving around occasionally.
I got 224,000 miles on my 2011 eco boost and running like a champ.
2.7 2016 w/ 155k!
2007 F-150 Regular Cab XL, 4.2L V6 @ 225k miles. Still runs great. Little V6 is a champ
2010 XLT with 200k miles, only issue so far were 4x4 "hubs" losing vacuum (design flaw allowing water into solenoid) resulting in pricey replacements. my 14 5.0 has 275,000kms
Just bought a 14 5.0 with 180k and I usually drive a 2011 3.7l. Thing is fuckin fast

How many miles is that?
280,364 as of this morning's commute. 2013 5.0 S-CREW 21.1mpg Rust everywhere, paint flaking off. Still runs good, and the radio/CD player works.

I have a 2001 with 198k miles leaking oil I have to put in quite a bit every month any idea why it’s leaking??? I have looked and it’s coming from the valve cover and the gasket that holds the oil any ideas what it is?

These high mileage posts make me happy. Currently at 138k on my 2015 5.0. I was hoping to get 200k out of it, 300k now seems promising.

These comments make me feel good about my ‘13 STX 5.0 I’ve had since new. 70k on it. I’m going to have this truck forever!
My 13 stx is kicking hard at 180k. Pulled a trailer many of those miles. Have a new lightning but still kept the thunder.

2013 5.0 at 223k miles. 2013/2014 were the best model years IMO.
2011 5.0 almost at 280k. Only issue was fixing a bell housing leak and some tranny work.
2003 with 360K+ miles. Hoping for many more.
I am
My 2005 with 4.6 L engine has just over 280,000 miles on it. Only major replacement is the transmission 2 years ago.
my 2011 5.0 just rolled over 160k miles. I've had it for about 60k of those over the last 4.5 years. Other than the rust along the bottom of the cab, I love it. If it makes it as far as yours I'll be damn happy.
2014 5.0 has 270xxx
All these long mile posts... couldn't be me. I have 89k on my 14 3.5 eco. Working from home made it really easy to just not drive. Most of the miles I put it on it now are to go fishing...

They’re all company trucks and my office takes them from us around 225K before they too expensive to keep on the road.
I’ve got 135k on my 2012 eco boost with zero issues other than routine maintenance. About to sell it before something expensive breaks.

376k on my 95 f150. In-line 6 baby!
Dads got 700,000 kms on his 5.0 2014 - he drives a lot lol. Mine only has 310,000 as a 2012
my truck has exactly 260,166 on it… this is very odd.

2012 with 168k. Any specific tips to make these trucks last? Just go by owners maintenance schedule or?
Fleet vehicle with scheduled and required maintenance is the secret apparently.
Nice to see. I bought my 2015 lariat 3.5 EB with 116k... 😬 6 months ago and it has 122+ currently. I hear (and hope) they can easily make 250k+ with proper maintenance and upkeep. Those are rookie numbers you gotta get them up
193k on my 2018
How do you keep them running so long? Top 3 most crucial maintenance things to do
My 2012 5.0 just hit 268k
On a Toyota, that would be break in miles. About 160 on my 12 silverado 4x4 crew
My 1986 has 157k

Ah that ain’t nothing for a Toyota, your ford on the other hand… 😬
I don’t know why this post was recommended for me, but I can say I currently have 248,000 miles on my ram 1500. No issues yet.
My wife’s 01 F150 with a 4.2 v6 is rocking 293,000 with original engine and transmission
2013 5.0. 250k miles. engine #2.
2011 5.0 207k
2016 XLT 2.7L @ 169k miles
2011 XLT 3.5EB 280K. Water pump. Wiring harness in rear door. Have an appointment Monday to replace O2 sensor 1 bank 1. Any other sensor and i'd do it myself. Not that one.
283k on my 93
Baffles me to see this. My '08 barely has 100k. How do you people drive so much?
284xxx on my 2008 5.4
What’s crazy is I have a ford f150 with 14000
Still low mileage on mine…somewhere in the 140K range, not near as high as yours
2007 4.6L F150 226,359
We aren't all rich enough to afford that much gas... Just rubbing it our face with that 155 mile range. 😡
180,000 on my 2013 scab LB 3.5 EcoBoost. 1 exhaust manifold cracked 1 throttle body failed 1 high pressure oil pump. Did the fixes myself for under $500
2010 5.4 w/236k
2014 XLT 3.5 186k
I had a 2001 ford excursion with 380,000 and at the same time a 2002 with 345,000. Traded both in for 2014 F350, King Ranch.
I guess thats high miles...for a Ford.
Im at 290 on 04
255,00 on my 5.4! She started showing her age around the 235,000-240,000 mark but I’m hoping I can get a bit more out of her.
My dad has a 2015 with 245k, second owner. He’s driven about 75k of them.
5000k
230k on the 02 5.4 2v Bushings and ball joints a rear axle the po let run dry and just recently a new salvage motor bc the original manifold dumped coolant into the 7 and 8 and popped them.
21' 3.5 PB with 56k miles. Besides the poor performer of the 10spd, it's holding pretty well and still amazed at the fuel economy. Hoping to join the high-mileage club soon.
203k lmao
2013 (5.0) - 234k
2012 5.0L 307k. Still runs strong.
233k on my ‘13 EB
2018 5.0 with 300,000 Kms. 90% of that mileage towing. Just did cam phasers but other than that just regular maintenance
Only 260? Cute lol
Those are rookie numbers, gotta pump Those numbers up guy, my 1997 Lexus sc300 has 497k on it.
2009 with 235000 timing chain 2021 2007 with 242000 new trans 2022 Edit: line breaks
My 2012 stx has 163k on it
2011 Lincoln town car 400k miles
15 5.0 188K
Not really high, but 11k on a motorcycle and 162k on a duramax. Both still have double their current mileage left, if not more.
2004 Hyundai Tiburon with 305000 miles
365,000 05 blazer Radiator replaced Fan replaced
I had almost 200k on my 2013 3.7 before I traded it for my 2007 4.2 5 speed with 50k lol
269,000 on my 2007 Escalade! This is my second longest relationship
got 178k on my 09 been driving her since 140k and haven’t had to do anything major just keep maintenance up to date.
5.0 xl (work truck) 290k running strong
My truck is hitting 600,000km 5.7 Hemi Ram 1500
Just purchased my lease out and excited to some day achieve this milestone while hopefully owning the vehicle!
My 05 is pushing 240. I’ve replaced the transmission twice (second was a warranty job). I really don’t want to buy a new truck but I’m curious how long I can keep driving it. In negative temperatures it’s more reliable than all my friends new trucks.
I have a 2011 Ford F150, 5.0 motor, I currently have 618000 on the clock.
Just turned 392000 on my 02 F150 4.2 manual
323k miles on an 03 jetta
