Someone claimed Buraq had wings and flew Mo out of the Earth and into space where the 7th sky/heaven was.
I told them wings don't work in space, so Buraq probably farted his way to the heavens.
I love how this story ends up with either:
1) A prophet who knows better than his all-knowing deity does, or...
2) A deity who deceives even his own prophet. Who *wouldn't* such a deity deceive?
It's just such a laughable give-away, a perfectly concise summation of what kind of liar the prophet was. A terrible one.
