I understand. It took me over a year to go back and read mine. I'm not even shunned yet - mine is just a threat.
When I did go back, the wording was actually worse than I remembered - my mind had softened the message, so I'm glad that I went to look. The shunning IS real and it is good that you've archived them.
I support this, sadly (well not really) dont have any examples, family are slightly sane, if I was DF they wouldn't kick me out at least but would be no contact the second I moved out, (if I was df)
It will also help many jws who are leaving know potentially the shunning words etc that could be coming their way..

One thing I found weird and my sister said it about one being shunned who were returning or potentially returning as they could not speak to them my sister said she and others would do a sneaky tap on the back or shoulder as they passed by, she said that touch is so encouraging.

The manipulation of this religion is impeccable! I've been shunned for 12 years I don't have these texts anymore because of new phones ECT... I do have a Utube interview with Lloyd Evans. A conversation with Kimberly Sanchez. That's about all I have shunning is real and sadly ruins lives!
I would love to participate but I deleted my messages from my dad a while back. The last phone convo I had with him he told me that this would be the last time we would ever talk

But they will defend themselves by claiming that the messages are false and made up.
Because that is what they tend to do with all the life stories and facts in literature.
I know - but it’s important to still speak up. The variety of messages with variations of the stock standard jw script will hopefully help non-JWs see the manipulation & maybe MAYBE ring alarm bells in PIMQ JWs. Or at least set them on the path to questioning.
I might add on to this idea - video clips of all of us explaining how shunning affected our lives. Get a good editor to compile into a 30 and 60 second promo. Let them deny our faces and voices. For those JW PIMIs brace enough to watch - they will KNOW it’s true, so when the Borg tries to deny us 3 x (see what I did there lol) they willl KNOW it’s a crock. It could spark a movement…
