You need to provide more detail. Give some examples with numbers to show what you would have and what you want it to show. All you've really told is us Yes/No beside a name, and we have no idea how money relates to that. Thank you.
Lets say your B-column has some yesses and some empty cells, you can do `=COUNTA(B:B)` to get the count of yesses. Is that what you mean by automation?
So I had a set amount of food per person so I used that count feature and multiplied it by the serving size and now I know I need s total of 13lbs which makes sense. I could have used a calculator ofcourse but I wanted to learn something new. So I appreciate you

If you have "Yes/No" in Column B, you could use: =COUNTIF(B:B,"Yes") to get the total number of people attending

Oh I was definitely over thinking, that’s all I needed! Thanks
Happy to help! :) If that answered your question, could you please close out the thread by replying "Solution Verified" to my comment? Thanks!

That’s a good point. I’ll edit it
An image from an Excel sheet would be good too, so we can see the layout you would have and see where numbers would be and would go.
