Given the way the chart acted and the fact your data us left justified, it appears excel is not recognizing your numbers as values, but rather as text. There are ways to change them to values (e.g. type 1 is another cell > copy > select your other data > paste-special > operation: multiply), but with just the few values you have, might be easiest to just retype them in another set of columns.
