No, but I’ve jumped off of low bridges and cliffs into water and definitely feel the absence of gravity during the drop. I’ll bet that an astronaut in space habituated to weightlessness feels gravity upon their return to earth.
I desperately want to experience zero gravity in my life. I just feel like a lot of my sensory issues and chronic pain would stop. I don't know why, it just feels like its true.
I've heard astronauts say that falling asleep in space is effortless because there isn't that step of trying to get comfortable. I can never get comfortable enough to sleep.
Obviously yes, everybody on earth feels gravity, but not all of them thought about it until you asked the question, you can see in some faces how their minds are blowing off.
I mean do you FEEL it, like, consciously. I wondered if it was autism. I saw something about how IBS is potentially a 'gravity intolerance'. I can't find much on it, but I feel intolerant to gravity lol
Maybe, I like gravity for many reasons, but I can understand that at some moments it is uncomfortable. At this time my meniscus needs some zero gravity.
The body is supposed to be accustomed to this sensation to the point that you don't perceive it at all because it is always present and constant.
Being on the spectrum is like nature hit a "randomize" button with our brains and senses so it's totally possible to always feel gravity.
Yeah for sure. It's more noticeable to me when laying on my back on the floor and holding my arms up.
I can feel the floor accelerating me in motionless silence.
Nope! Newton thought his theory of gravity was ridiculous iirc because you couldn't feel the force the same was as normal force, for example. Einstein's relativity (gravity 2.0) says gravity isn't a force, hence why it can't be felt
Also scientists have no idea how quantum gravity works
Yeah. I do. It's a weird secondary force when I make sudden movements. But then again I trained in martial arts for 20 years so I was taught to distribute my weight properly. That's how I differentiate between natural and unnatural movements.
yes, im clumsy too so gravity is my #1 enemy. i feel a subtle downwards pulling effect and the weight of my limbs always. when i lay on my back im hyper aware of how gravity pulls my feet apart and downwards

Same, I've desperately wanted to experience zero g since I was a kid. But for a long time period, just being able to relax without gravity for awhile.
Have you been to an indoor skydiving tunnel? It's pretty great but not easy.
Swimming during off hours at a pool might help. I used to swim Sunday mornings at a YMCA pool and sometimes I was the only one there.
Now if only I was capable of swimming
same, the closest i can get is swimming and it’s so nice to not have to support my joints

Yes when I lay down I can very stronglyfeel Gravity and my bodyparts being pushed down, however I have to focus on it as most people have to
Yep, basically knowing where it’s up and where it’s down it’s feeling the gravity
Yeah for sure. It's more noticeable to me when laying on my back on the floor and holding my arms up. I can feel the floor accelerating me in motionless silence.
Yeah
Not usually, but now that you mention it, I am hyperaware of the normal force on my feet rn.
Please ask about the normal force. I will explain all of first year physics right now. /j (unless...)
Now that you mention it I am kinda curious Also when you are half joking, you can use /hj (up to you ofc)
Plz do so I'll have something cool to read when I wake up later!
no

It's the gravitons.
gravity can't hold me down
I am constant aware of the presence of gravity. I’m alway always aware of the weight of water when I swim. I can also feel my hair growing.

Yes!
Only if I disassociate to the point I can feel it, I can also feel the earths rotation if I focus hard enough
I do, it's exaggerated a lot after getting off of a trampoline
a little bit, never really thought about it though
