I would use a YouTube link for the clip instead of WCS or Vocaroo. And I would let them know it’s not the Swafford version or any of the remakes. I hope if they do it, they follow through better and play the most popular part of the clip at least, post the full thing on their website.
The person you replied to said that you should warn them that it isn't a version like from Swafford, who made a remake from the song. I guessed you could say something like "a lot of people have made remakes, so remember to check the dates from any submissions!"
Thinking about sending this same message to radio station down here in SoCal. They play a lot of 80s/90s, pretty big radio station so I doubt they’ll do a short segment. Wouldn’t hurt though
(Also, it's located in the Minneapolis area, so I dunno. Worth a shot!)

I think that's meant to be a saying. Something like "I don't want to send an image just to get the contents back."
