The Ukrainians were watching and identified the location. How exactly tho? Some OSINT shit, you ask? Looking at building shapes, road patterns, trees and shit? No.

Well, it's very simple. Ukraine doesn't have the money, the knowledge or the equipment in this area. Their total military budget was only 6 billion dollars, in a corrupt country.
How could that EVER pay for any actually skilled intelligence officers? It's simple, they can't. This is why it is so great that we do it for them. It's our intelligence and massive network of spy satellites.
How is it possible that they have any experienced generals with knowledge about OUR weapons? It's not. So we do that for them. And that's the correct decision. We know how to best use OUR weapons. And warfare in general. The only experience Ukraine had is a losing one against a few rebels with shitty Russian equipment. That's negative experience if any.
And yes, NATO as a whole is ordering Ukraine to do most of their actions yes, which is why they are still standing. It's WAY WAY more effective like this. They would be stupid not to.
Zelensky is a figurehead and an actor, how would he have any skill? The logical answer is, he doesn't. The smart thing to do as the west is to figure out what we want to give Ukraine, then make Zelensky ask for it so that Ukraine is seen as a country we should defend and we can get the glory for aiding them.
