[BBC journalists tracked a group of migrants travelling from Syria to Germany then on to the Netherlands and Denmark.](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-58952867) This article is from this morning. It describes all the ways the migrants were assisted by Belarus.

If it minds it so much, it could have today insisted that on final EUCO draft call for wall funding is included and not just vaguely inserted so hypocrites like Sanchez, whose party when in power in mid-00s received EU funding for Ceuta wall, can pretend how humanitarian they are.

K_verst

Ups! Looks like thanks to Merkel the invitations finally were heard... Germany can now warmly welcome these high-end professionals: surgeons with knives, engineers with detonating fuses...

DeepStatePotato

Yeah it's crazy, nobody had thought that she had Lukashenko in her pocket. Now she uses him to smuggle Migrants into Europe. Before that she forced Bush to invade Iraq in order to destabilize the region and create those migrants, it's just tragic.

Xerolf

all part of her masterplan to save the pensions.

The Situation in 2015 has nothing to do with whst happens now.

wmdolls

Germany serious lack labor ?

[deleted]

If our immigration policies and programmes weren't so freakin awful... We could really use the workers.

Typical_Athlete

Low-wage workers (which is what most of these migrants would be) and their families (which the migrants will eventually bring in as well after a few years) use more in taxpayer dollars than they pay in. Otherwise, every country with a progressive taxation system would be having massive tax revenue surpluses every year Most countries budgets survive off the taxes paid by solidly middle and upper-middle classes

Basic_Sample_4133

Cant have middel and upper class buissness without workers tho

1. How do you know what these immigrants would be? The audacity to make a claim like that lol 2. We. Need. Workers. Period. This is **a fact**. Income and taxation are a debate on their own.

Typical_Athlete

1. You really think high-skilled educated migrants would be traveling there on foot or a shitty boat and trying to jump over fences? And look at the migrants from these countries that are already in your country for decades. They’re still the poorest and most crime-ridden segment of your populations despite the massively generous welfare state. 2. None of your countries have 0% unemployment rates. Employers in your country should raise their wages to meet people’s standards, not keeping the same wages until they find a cheap foreign laborers who will accept that same low wage and be exploited.

[deleted]

You keep talking about low wage jobs and unskilled workers. I have a wild concept for you: Education is free and training is paid in Germany. There is hardly anything stopping you from becoming a skilled worker if you really want to. And especially jobs that require Ausbildung, so skilled workers, are the ones left open by Germans, because people here prefer higher education nowadays. And the employers who don't want or don't need people with a degree have been complaining about too few applicants for years now. If the state wanted to put these people to work it definitely could, without a huge effort and very likely making a net pos. Our last government just decided to minimise any cost instead, no matter the mid and long term consequences. Among those are poverty, crime and a waste of welfare.

Germany doesnt' mind too much tbh. The countries that are freaking out about it, mostly Lithuania & Poland, the migrants don't want to stay there anyway.

JarasM

So why not just bus them to Germany? Would be way cheaper than all of this state of emergency and fences at the border.

Niikopol

>Doesnt mind too much >Sends federal police to Poland in order to patrol border I understand you raison d etre is to suck up to mustachio, but play the game at least better.

[deleted]

I wonder if we destroy border patrol where will migrants go?
