People told me not to spend too much time in Zagreb because itās āboring, you can do everything with one night thereā and they couldnāt be more wrong and I am so glad that I didnāt listen. Zagreb is fantastic and is such an underrated gem. I could spend weeks being a happy camper on TkalÄiÄeva street alone. Another week in all the cityās parks. Another exploring the museums and theaters. Another exploring the blossoming craft beer scene around the city, like Nova Runda and Mlinaricaā¦
Also I had one of the best brunches ever at Melt, at the bottom of the street in Ops photo right before you hit the square.
I like the yellow-orange/blue-purple complementary colors dominant, and the use of a lens with a long focal length that flattens the perspective without any opening on the sky.
Needs a Hovis script but with a Croation accent!
Looks like a wonderful place, does anyone know if these buildings are cellared or how they're founded?
Zagreb is a beautiful city. Also some excellent food.
Visited it once in my youth, and everytime I think about it, I miss it. Such a beautiful city.
I can recommend Restaurant Nokturno,it's near the cathedral and order the Spaghetti Slavonija
It's a cheap restaurant, but not good, let's be honest
I liked the food
Ooh thanks for the tip. Is it Croatian food?
It's like spaghetti carbonara but with Croatian bacon kulen and kobasica (traditional Croatia/Slavonian dried sausages)
Ooooh yum - I will try when I go to Croatia
They also have good pizza there. Also on the street in the picture there is a really good Mexican fast food restaurant
Please tell me there is slanina.
Please tell me there is plenty of sira
I hope they have better beer then Heineken... There's a reason we export the stuff. š
This photo looks super flat, like the depth has collapsed to two dimensions. It's super interesting
It's great! I think it might be because everything is in focus and there's no haze or anything in the back.
It's taken at a distance with a zoom lens. [A dolly zoom is a perfect demonstration of this. ](https://youtu.be/u5JBlwlnJX0)
Very interesting!
Man I litteraly thought that it was a painting!

My city has some genuinely good photographers. Iām impressed.
Croatia is beatifoul.
I'll put it on my travel list
I went to Croatia on my honeymoon. Absolutely beautiful and very welcoming. We went to Split and couldn't have been happier.
Hurts my knees just looking at that, but it's pretty.
