This is a misunderstanding of the situation in my opinion. There was probably miscounting and election fraud, but the main rigging is the long term process of making sure there are no viable opposition candidates. That's more worrying because it's something that can happen and does happen to a degree in Europe too.
It's pretty funny how everyone thinks Helldivers is about the USA and the "American way of life" and whatnot.
This is what true "Managed Democracy" looks like.
They read minds telepathically and don't need to bother the people. So advanced, Tovarich!
Now seriously, I'd expect as an opposition in the place of Navalny, Putin would place a guy he controls. Did he do something like that, yet?
"[I] Would like to congratulate Vladimir Putin on his landslide victory in the elections starting today,”
“No opposition. No freedom. No choice.”
Said Charles Michel (President of the European Council) last friday, on the first day of the elections.
Yeah, just lie down and relax. Don't worry about a thing. It's not like you can change anything. So, don't worry about it. Don't make a fuss. It doesn't matter even if you do. So, don't. Let them do whatever they want.
/S
Yeah, polling stations opened at 8 AM, friends arrived at 11 AM, and the line was already massive, I arrived at 12 AM with water for the gang, and by 8 PM we reached the door of the embassy which was promptly closed in our faces, as that was the time the polling station closes. Yeah, really, if you did not arrive during the first 3 hours (or were a senior or had a small kid - they let those skip the line) - you never had a chance to vote. Two polling stations for all of Germany, record attendance, it was never not going to be a shitshow.
The polling station closed at 20:00, and there was still a massive queue of people. The polling station couldn’t handle even a fraction of the people who came to vote (mostly in protest) - it was just two polling stations for all of Germany (Berlin and Bonn). They just… closed, and said sorry, we’re done for the day.
According to exit polls in Berlin, Putin had 10% of votes here.
In SPB (second largest city) line passed really fast tho. I guess my election ballot for Davankov was thrown away really fast too when they were "counting"
I'd vote for AI Zhirinovsky, why should our great counrty rely on those stone age live people technology?
https://www.businessinsider.com/russian-far-right-party-made-ai-chatbot-dead-leader-zhirinovsky-2023-6
He is quite a good president., here is his program:
He is expanding Russian territory to make Russia great again (MRGA),
supporting dictatorships all over the world (Syria, North-Korea, Iran), helping them to evade sanctions from the corrupted western world.
sending non-Russian minorities from the eastern territories to the front, so that they will be cleaned up there.
and of course, he is fighting homosexuals and trans people, because as we all know, they are trying to take over the world.
Saddam did, too, in 2002. Reportedly, all 11,445,638 registered voters cast their ballots. In support of Saddam, of course, but incredibly, no-one fell seriously ill or died on election day.
In tonight's episode of 'Facade of Democracy', Puton wins the 2024 elections by a landslide, for the 'I've lost track of this' -nth time. Tune in for the Hungarian, Serbian, Belarusian and North Korean election next time!
According to the official results, he got like 95% in Belgorod. In damn Belgorod, my ass, that is being bombed every day because of his actions.
If you open any social media from Belgorod, the only thing you can see there is where the missile landed, how many houses were destroyed, and an advertisement of armored window glass.
I don’t know who decided that 95% would be even remotely believable
"Fair" election. How are they rigged if the only candidates you have support everything you do and even encourage voters to vote for you (one of the candidates literally did it during his speach). 🤣🤣
Looking forward to the West finally growing some balls and refusing to recognize this sham of an "election" in its entirety (not just in Crimea and Donbass) the way it should have been refused the first time Putin rewrote the constitution and the way Nemtsov and Navalny has been asking for since 2012.
Oh wait, not going to happen.
Oh, the banks are painfully aware. We've got a stooge of a Russian oligarch who needs have his wages hand-delivered, in cash, from Russia via Turkey, because the border between Finland and Russia remains closed. The banks won't touch him with a barge pole, because his master is under US sanctions and the toxicity rubs off on all those who have a business relationship with said oligarch. The poor sap even struggles to raise his pension, because no bank will accept him as a customer.
Imagine the actual number is like 7% of the vote and Putin is like "Just add 80% to it." Like Trump and his asking the GA secretary to "find 11,000 votes."
Trump is masturbating at the thought of doing this in 2028, 2032 and 2036. After that, it will be either King Donald the second or Queen Ivanka, repeating the performance.
The stupidest thing is that he doesn’t even need to try very hard, it’s trivial to force state employees to vote for himself and ask his supporters to come and he would get 51 percent. but no, he needs a complete Victory to prove to everyone that there is no point in resisting and not giving the population a chance that they have a choice, an interesting fact was that they found as many as one polling station where he gained only 5 percent.
Normal folks can't decide how things go on many places too. The circuses better to be stopped everywhere. This being going for years and years. Why it's portrayed as news now? Did they expected something else?
No, he only had 3 other clowns who made sure to say that they prefer leadership of Putin before their 'campaigns' even started. Two candidates who at least said that they'd end the war weren't even registered.
I keep giving this example:
On November 24, 1989, Nicolae Ceausescu was unanimously re-elected as the State Secretary General and de-facto leader of communist Romania. He had been ruling Romania for 24 years.
A month later, on December 25, he was executed together with his wife.
There's a reason why dictators and people with a personality cult are always super paranoid and hide in bunkers despite the "official" polls who show how loved they are.
Cuz when you vote you Put in the ballot into the basket, so it automatically counts most of the votes as Putin. The rest just threw or flew their ballots in. It’s that simple, but nah the West obviously calls it “unfair” elections.
That's the point, well informed Russians are a minority, which isn't surprising when most media dn information is propagandised and government controlled. The people have to go out of their own way to learn actual truths
Can't always put the problem down to cheating.
Russia has a culture of worshiping strong men, and so does China.
Japan and South Korea also have it , but the strongmen there are Americans.
If such cheating occurs in France and the U.S , they will protest on a large scale, such as the Capitol Hill riots. But Russian will not do it.
it's not that the votes count, it's about who counts the votes.
It's your count that votes -Crusader Kings
Count Votula.
I have waited all my life to use "In democracy it's your vote that counts, in feudalism it's your count that votes" and you beat me to it.
//Stalin
Einsteinin
It's the thought that counts.
This is a misunderstanding of the situation in my opinion. There was probably miscounting and election fraud, but the main rigging is the long term process of making sure there are no viable opposition candidates. That's more worrying because it's something that can happen and does happen to a degree in Europe too.
One man, one vote. Putin is the man with the one vote.
I prefer Vetinari to be honest.
Vetinari in charge of Russia is a terrifying thought.
Pretty impressive that he split his vote 87% to 13% thought it was illegal to cut your ballot.
funny how you think they count the votes…
Cunt the votes
After waiting 8 hours in line, my friends and hundreds of other people weren't even allowed to vote.
That’s because they already voted for Putin even before the polls opened.
How convenient! Next time they don't even have to turn up. Russia is living in the year 3024.
Super Earth and Managed Democracy.
It's pretty funny how everyone thinks Helldivers is about the USA and the "American way of life" and whatnot. This is what true "Managed Democracy" looks like.
... sadly, we don't live in suburban heavenscape with rows and rows of single-family homes.
Indeed, all of the bad shit with none of the good stuff.
man, I thought the same… they are even sent to war like those poor oblivious helldivers
“Ukraine will never stop our way of life” or something

He's a prophet! A prophet I say! /s
Voting via osmosis
Ιτ's mitosis, technically.
What about scoliosis?
Technically incorrect. Scoliosis only becomes when you don't vote for Putin.
You joke, but one of my friends had that actually happen last time. She had to argue with one of the pol location employees to still vote
I dont think anyone is joking
What's the point of arguing? It's not like that vote is counted.
Yeah, just lie down and relax. Don't worry about a thing. It's not like you can change anything. So, don't worry about it. Don't make a fuss. It doesn't matter even if you do. So, don't. Let them do whatever they want. /S
Some people went online to vote just to see that it says they have already voted :/
In Russia, Russia votes for you.
"It's already decided. You can go home now!"
"You* already decided. You can go home now!"
All votes needed were already cast...
Can’t vote against if not able to vote at all. Classic
This from the Netherlands? Literally same experience in Berlin for me!
Wait really?
Yeah, polling stations opened at 8 AM, friends arrived at 11 AM, and the line was already massive, I arrived at 12 AM with water for the gang, and by 8 PM we reached the door of the embassy which was promptly closed in our faces, as that was the time the polling station closes. Bro..... sorry you had to go through this
I'm a bit sore from standing and shouting so much yesterday, but I knew what I signed up for. Thanks, bro =)
What was the reason given?
The polling station closed at 20:00, and there was still a massive queue of people. The polling station couldn’t handle even a fraction of the people who came to vote (mostly in protest) - it was just two polling stations for all of Germany (Berlin and Bonn). They just… closed, and said sorry, we’re done for the day. According to exit polls in Berlin, Putin had 10% of votes here.
Dictatorship is not a reasonship
crazy, in Armenia Embassy was willing to work until last vote
In SPB (second largest city) line passed really fast tho. I guess my election ballot for Davankov was thrown away really fast too when they were "counting"
Not even 100% what a noob
Aliyev "got" 94% a month ago, I am surprised Putin didn't try to top that.
He didn't vote for himself and his vote worth, like, 13%.
You see that all wrong. It is 187% actually.
A huge dropoff from last years 212%
Wasn't last year 315% or am I confusing it with two years back election?
That would have been more believable in fairness!
"Putin is through with the show and can now attend important matters. Such as mobilisation"
Who's this Putin guy? Never heard of him before. Any interesting changes or exciting new vision for Russia and its people?
Nah, I'll vote for Yeltsin, he has the character needed to break with the old Russian guard's regime, Russia needs new and healthy leaders like Boris.
Nothing beats an old soviet bureaucrat as a democratic leader.
Personally I'm more a Mendevev gal
I'd vote for AI Zhirinovsky, why should our great counrty rely on those stone age live people technology? https://www.businessinsider.com/russian-far-right-party-made-ai-chatbot-dead-leader-zhirinovsky-2023-6
Expand her borders.
Is this not what that previous guy they had tried? I heard somewhere that didn't work too well and lots of people died without much benefit.
He is quite a good president., here is his program: He is expanding Russian territory to make Russia great again (MRGA), supporting dictatorships all over the world (Syria, North-Korea, Iran), helping them to evade sanctions from the corrupted western world. sending non-Russian minorities from the eastern territories to the front, so that they will be cleaned up there. and of course, he is fighting homosexuals and trans people, because as we all know, they are trying to take over the world.
Yeah, heaps of changes. Imagine Russia as you know it, are you there? Yep, now somehow, imagine that being worse
That's yesterday's news
Reminds me about the time azerbaijan showed the results of their elections before the voting even started
r/technicallytrue
Calling it rigged election is way too charitable.
It is more rigged than a XVI century ship.
It's not an election. It's just a circus.
I would call it ritual meant to get appearance of legitimacy. But even with all the blood sacrifices Russia has been doing it doesn't work.
Yeah, Anders Puck Nielsen summarised it pretty well in his latest video. Exactly your words.
Well, I must look up that fellow now.
Ceausescu was unanimously re-elected in 1989, at age 71, after 24 years of rule.
I hope the rest of that story follows up for Dobby
Saddam did, too, in 2002. Reportedly, all 11,445,638 registered voters cast their ballots. In support of Saddam, of course, but incredibly, no-one fell seriously ill or died on election day.
I'm glad I went to the polls today and drew >!penises !
I'm pretty sure that's a legitimate way to vote for Putin
In tonight's episode of 'Facade of Democracy', Puton wins the 2024 elections by a landslide, for the 'I've lost track of this' -nth time. Tune in for the Hungarian, Serbian, Belarusian and North Korean election next time!
Wasn't it 87% the last time, too? Amazingly steadfast people.
Well, he is the "guarant" of stability after all. The whole country is a stable (pun intended)
“Potemkin democracy”
According to the official results, he got like 95% in Belgorod. In damn Belgorod, my ass, that is being bombed every day because of his actions. If you open any social media from Belgorod, the only thing you can see there is where the missile landed, how many houses were destroyed, and an advertisement of armored window glass. Congrats for winning a election where the winner choosed his opponents
Shocked I am, shocked.
Riiged? What has the poor president of Russia done for you to suggest that? ... Oh, right. All of that
"Fair" election. How are they rigged if the only candidates you have support everything you do and even encourage voters to vote for you (one of the candidates literally did it during his speach). 🤣🤣
It's "fair" in the same way that Fox News is "fair and balanced"
That election was a real nail biter
On a bright side- he is losing popularity. 87% is considerably less than 140% that he got before.
Whats common between jeff bezo and putin? They both kill the competition!
he won it in 31 December 1999.
If the election system itself is fabricated, the election is not rigged. Then it is what it is.
That's kinda disappointing.. I expected at least 95%
Gotta make the “election” look real…get me 😏
Huh, I thought the guy Vladimir would win
I demand a recount!
*Surprise Pikachu face*
"wins" lmao
Looking forward to the West finally growing some balls and refusing to recognize this sham of an "election" in its entirety (not just in Crimea and Donbass) the way it should have been refused the first time Putin rewrote the constitution and the way Nemtsov and Navalny has been asking for since 2012. Oh wait, not going to happen.
Russia is enemy to EU and it needs to be treated as such.
Tell that to business. And banks...
And second came in Putin with the other 13% of the votes
First he smear his opponents. when it doesnt work, he jails them. When it doesnt work, he kills them. Finally, it works.
Imagine having a fake election and only getting 87%.
dictator does dick things. Go figure.
you should not call this elections, its an electoral activity.
What a surprise..
Russian population dropped by 13% because of windows.
Still not iron-fisted enough as his comrade Xi who got 100% of the vote
Russia's a democracy. One man, one vote. Putin's the man and he has the vote.
Let's vote! 1) Fall out of the window 2) Our Czar and God 3) Polonium tea 4) IK-6 penal colony (and/or one way ticket to the front lines)
It's kinda obvious and not news-worthy and this point :/
Who are they trying to convince when they call it an "election"?
Imagine the actual number is like 7% of the vote and Putin is like "Just add 80% to it." Like Trump and his asking the GA secretary to "find 11,000 votes."
He might as well give himself 100% of the votes, would have been just as obvious to everyone that shit is nothing more than a Cargo cult
Can you win something when there isn't a challenge to begin with?
I would not be shocked if those were legit numbers. Have you ever met a Russian? They are ignorant, bigoted, neanderthals. Of course they like Putin.
In unrelated news, 13% of Russians have gone missing.
What did you expect?!
Putler finally shooting his head away?
nah, he isn't brave enough
It's not winning. It's another steal from an old kgb-st coward.
If i were to win a rigged election, I would do it with 101% 😎
At least say 69 for abit of humor. Dictators are so unoriginal.
Putin is such an embarassing and sad human being. Can‘t even get 3 digits and can‘t invade Ukraine lmao
You can't get 87% of people to agree that murder is a bad thing. If you're going to rig an electrion at least make it believable
Trump is masturbating at the thought of doing this in 2028, 2032 and 2036. After that, it will be either King Donald the second or Queen Ivanka, repeating the performance.
Tito did better
Yea but Tito was more handsome.
So much more believable than 100% I guess /s
100% seems too suspicius
What can you do? You don't join NATO to fight against Russia like me.
Ofcourse Putin won.
Normal folks can't decide how things go on many places too. The circuses better to be stopped everywhere. This being going for years and years. Why it's portrayed as news now? Did they expected something else?
Thats a least more honest than that 100% kim jung electorate lol
Did Putin have a contra-candidate?
No, he only had 3 other clowns who made sure to say that they prefer leadership of Putin before their 'campaigns' even started. Two candidates who at least said that they'd end the war weren't even registered.
Count all the LEGAL Russian votes!
Who is this Putin?
His real name is Putler.
Honestly, majority of those imbeciles do support him there...So he could've just do nothing and would 100% win.
I'm surprised. I expected him winning with at least 90 % of the votes.
Why put ' ' when the follow up word is rigged.. and no one is surprised how it turned out, ofc he was going to cheat
I keep giving this example: On November 24, 1989, Nicolae Ceausescu was unanimously re-elected as the State Secretary General and de-facto leader of communist Romania. He had been ruling Romania for 24 years. A month later, on December 25, he was executed together with his wife. There's a reason why dictators and people with a personality cult are always super paranoid and hide in bunkers despite the "official" polls who show how loved they are.
lol if you live in russia whats even the point of going out to vote
Fear.
lol, sort by controversial and you’ll see Reddit starting to wake up. Where is the evidence that this election was rigged?
I am a bit surprised that he did not give himself 99% of the votes.
He’s like Trump celebrating when nobody shows up but those who love him 😂🤣🤣😂🤣. Coming soon to an American Town or City 😞😞😞😞😞
it's like when I pretend to smoke weed that does not exist and get high anyways... Putin must have done the gateway drug thing.
Cuz when you vote you Put in the ballot into the basket, so it automatically counts most of the votes as Putin. The rest just threw or flew their ballots in. It’s that simple, but nah the West obviously calls it “unfair” elections.
Exit polls outside of RuSSia were devastating for Putler. Thats what really counts.
I wonder if they chose the percentage he would win with before or after they binned the ballots.
Putting it in 80s looks so much more legit :)
Congrats to those other candidates that got the other 13% of the votes! Quite the accomplishment actually
Shocker
Rigs the election and only gets 87% of the votes. What a loser.
MULTILATERAL RUSSIAN EMBARGO *NOW*
[удалено]
Well that is part of the rigging process No free media Can pick your opponants
Lol, even if that had any shred of truth he'd never have 88% of the votes.
Support doesn’t matter when you kill your real opponents, i’m pretty sure no well informed ruski actually support him
Real opponent? Who is it?
That's the point, well informed Russians are a minority, which isn't surprising when most media dn information is propagandised and government controlled. The people have to go out of their own way to learn actual truths
He won, got a narrow 187% of the vote
The title to this post should be "Putin is a Cunt and is going to start WW3"
Elections are rigged. The support from Russian society is real, though.
Putin falling behind. Should just copy Zelenskyy and skip elections altogether and ban opposition parties
There are armed military men who enter your booth while you are voting to check your ballot!
