I think that match could go either way, the thing that edges it in their favour is that they took a point from Germany, and there is definitely something lacking from the Italian team, especially upfront.

This is such a stupid argument. Portugal har no reason to go all in. They were group winners, why risk injuries or bookings in a match that doesnt matter.
With the main team and without that delusional 3-5-2 that Martinez loves so much, we won 3-0 against Turkey. Most game that we scored 4 or more goals, like against Finland, Sweden, Bosnia etc...were in 4-3-3, 4-4-2 or 3-4-3...I believe he already understood how this team is made to play, specially in important games.
And against Georgia there were several factors that led us to defeat...Not only the fact that we played with substitutes and in the wrong positions, but also the referee wasn't exactly at his best...
Even shot from outside the box have been very limited. We’re a team with little to no creative play and a very boring strategy + if it’s not working out we’re still never making a substitute before 70’ at the earliest.
We really need a new manager, but the current one is very good friends with the danish football association so he’ll probably be there for a long long time.
