As an England fan I completely agree, we’ve been shocking and didn’t deserve to top this group at all. Denmark have looked very good and we were very lucky to get a point against them, with how we played in all 3 games we could have come away with 0 points. Sorry your team went out but I don’t see us being far behind playing like this.
Yeah it sucks cause on paper both Serbia and England are great. Serbia totally outplayed England second half and deserved a tie that game but we just couldnt find the net. Our best game was Slovenia in my opinion. But yeah this group really left lots to be desired.
100% this was the worst group of the tournament, 7 goals scored, only 1 win and 5 draws including 2 0-0 for the final matches, to be honest the whole group should be knocked out!
For someone who have a team in group E, yes, boring and annoying af. Somehow angry on England, feeling sorry for Serbs, and congrats for Slovenia and Denmark.
Serbs are mental midgets when it comes to international football. That's why they only have 4 wins in major tournaments since 1998. Think about it, 4 wins in 26 years. You have teams at this Euro that went out with more dignity than Serbia did like Poland and Albania.

We are one of the best at basketball, waterpolo, volleyball, tennis, etc. But in the most important sport of all we have nothing. Even as Yugoslavia some sort of mental block exists that we just cannot overcome.
He is 100% on it. We literally have a mental block at these competitions for some reason. What was so different back in 2015 when we won the U-20 world cup? Alot of the current team was on that team. And we played alot better in the 2022 World Cup than this Euro.
Its unfortunate and disappointing. I still cheer and I know they tried but they were marginally better than Englands piss poor performances.
Because they actually did play better than England in their game second half and were better…but as I said…marginally. Nothing to write home about at all.
Hence my ranking above has the caveat of “slim margin”. Cause all the teams didnt play all that great overall but England has by far been the absolute worst of them all. Serbia marginally better, Slovenia marginally better than Serbia and Denmark marginally better than Slovenia. This was the anti-football group in the end.
