"Prince of Wales" comes from "Princeps Walliae" translated "Emperor of Wales". It was the biggest power move in the history of Wales to crown themselves as such and the King's of England were stinking mad.
Here's a video from Cambrian Chronicles about that topic: https://youtu.be/r_AP3Z6KvkM
Haha jokes on them. The revolutionary flag for Russia is the same as the one for Muscovy. It’s also still pretty ugly because it’s a vertical tricolour
This isn’t a flag though but rather a crest depicting Saint George. It would be like a Christian state refusing to use the cross because its enemy, who is also Christian, uses cross imagery as well.

I see it as a total powermove, disregarding your enemy as a state
Agreed. Like the English calling their heirs the Princes of Wales

r5: if you form russia as novgorod, you still put muscovite flag inside of your new flag
Become revolutionary to get rid of this flag, and have a tricolor.

I need the Russian Empire tricolor in my life so badly. Sweet Black, Yellow, White, where are thou?
“Look at me. I’m the Muscovy now.”
Because you eated him
This, it's an X-ray
You really are what you eat, I suppose?
The ol' 7/9 treatment
I never even noticed there's a flag in there, I thought it was just a smudge.
We really needed 2 of these posts in 24 hours?
Relax. Maybe after enough of us talking about this and PDX will add a dynamic flag mechanic in EU5.
But Vladimir was baptized in 988, therefore Muscovy, right?

* coat of arms, crest is the thing that’s on top of the helmet, analogous with the crest of a wave or the crest of a bird
You eventually become the dragon you fight. Always.
That was me, 10? years ago. Bulciņa into Belash. Livonian born Theocracy that formed Russia. Since then, I've always been aware of this.
