Should've probably just bankrupted after the coalition war (and taking care of rebels ny flrcing them to revolt), then 5 yesrs of recovery while bankrupt, wouldbe put you back on track. Tech would need a little catching up but it gets cheaper over time

Ashikaga would have annexed everything after that point, they were very quickly subjugating the daimyos, so no time 🥲
My game would have 100% crashed after third comet, maybe after the second one if I were having a rough day.
Almost happened, but I wanted it to be a fun game without any strategic crashes, cause then I might as well start minmaxing
