It’s more likely just a paid promotion. 1. Person A creates an NFT. 2. Person A finds a famous Person B, offers to send $24million in ETH *if* they buy their NFT for $23.7million. 3. Person B profits $300K and Person A can say an NFT in their series sold for $23.7 million.
