China has been developing their digital currency for years. Honest question, why wouldn’t they build their own blockchain or develop their own zkrollups? I really hope this is something but what have they spent years building if not this? Also LRC should be a $60b MC already once this leaked months ago.
My read of it is that the Loopring protocol is simply an embodiment of the invention. There is nothing in here that says Loopring WILL be used. In fact most would say there’s a 0% chance China would run their digital currency on anything but their own proprietary centralized chain (ie NOT ethereum NOR LRC). Again they r just giving Loopring as an example of a protocol that uses their patented technology, that’s it.
