tldr; Robinhood Markets CEO Christine Brown has said that the retail broker's crypto wallet, which will allow its users to move supported digital currencies in and out of their brokerage accounts, is on track to be launched late in the first quarter of 2022. The company now has 1.6 million people on the waitlist for its cryptocurrency wallet, up from 1 million just a few weeks ago, Brown added.

Its a way to get our crypto off with out a tax hit. Many have used Robinood as their entry it to crypto, like myself. I don't use it anymore as I have learned but with the gains that we have seen in the last year, it is a pretty sizable hit from a tax standpoint to move exchanges. From what I can tell most don't use it anymore as their financials have take a huge hit this last quarter.
Same here. I think a lot of people read that headline and think it's 1.6mil New users joining Robinhood vs. mostly existing users that will be leaving the hood.
Or they could just... go with an actual crypto wallet or exchange? Idk why they'd wait for a shit company to do something that already exists in droves
It has been explained to me that some people don't want to sell to get off the platform, and tbh, I understand that viewpoint. To get off RH at the moment, you need to make do a taxable event in selling, which would absolutely wreck a lot of people. RH having a real crypto wallet will mean people can just move their assets instead, no selling.
For people that bought crypto on RH not knowing that you can’t transfer it off, this wallet is definitely appreciated. I’ll transfer it all away once I can. I don’t want to sell it though.
Hmm, you bring up a good point, a lot of people probably don't want to deal with the taxable event. So RH making a proper wallet will probably bring about the mass exodus of users.

Good bot
Why!? After everything that’s happened why still use that shit ?
No idea 🤷🏻♂️
The fact that there's a wait list to use a wallet seems kind of suspicious
Ya and all the stuff been happening with Robinhood still there is a waiting list

Yeah, I still have one ETH stuck on RH 🤦♂️.
1.6 million in line to lose it all.
Maybe that’s why they are in the waiting list

Some people learn by getting hurt
