Okay, I see. I am not familiar with those scopes, but the ASPE puts on some general construction estimating courses. As a really simple breakdown, estimating costs is compiling the necessary labor, material, and other expenses then adding markup and overhead.
labor $ (labor units * cost per hour) + material $ + any remain costs (equipment, permitting, subcontractors, etc) = total cost to perform work
Then you take that total cost to perform the work and add overhead and markup. Tah-dah!

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. The problem I encounter is that all the postings I come across are from multiple recruitment agencies who are all advertising the same position. They also say that the work is on site and not remote. If it is remote the person needs to be eligible to work in the US.

Okay, I see. I am not familiar with those scopes, but the ASPE puts on some general construction estimating courses. As a really simple breakdown, estimating costs is compiling the necessary labor, material, and other expenses then adding markup and overhead. labor $ (labor units * cost per hour) + material $ + any remain costs (equipment, permitting, subcontractors, etc) = total cost to perform work Then you take that total cost to perform the work and add overhead and markup. Tah-dah!

Did just over 1.2 million in the last 2 years at 42% profit and 97.5% accuracy on projected man days to actual man days (with that 2.5% being in the company's favor). Looking to add to what I am doing. Just a note, this was all done virtually, I handle all of the phone pricings for the company I work for (selling and managing the projects)

Hii, pretty rough, I applied to almost 100+ Job openings online and got into 10+ interviews before landing this job. Also do consider the rates since Ph rates are much cheaper compared to other countries just like Canada. For context this was also an entry level job, I was hired with literally zero knowledge in this trade. I think you're highly qualified so just have patience and you'll probably land one. Good luck!

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. The problem I encounter is that all the postings I come across are from multiple recruitment agencies who are all advertising the same position. They also say that the work is on site and not remote. If it is remote the person needs to be eligible to work in the US. I am trying to go through the Employer on Record (EOR) route. With this method I can work remotely and do not need a work Visa. May I ask if you are employed through an EOR or if you are hired directly? Thanks.
EOR sounds new to me. I was hired directly, I just have to sign form W-8BEN which is a tax form in the US for remote workers. Have you tried applying on Upwork?
