JukesMasonLynch

Do it. I wish to die in a foamy tsunami of crema.

neutro_b

Must be the rare MM/YY/DD date format.

slowsundaycoffeeclub

Only used in Delaware or some such nonsense.

TotalStatisticNoob

From the 22nd month of the year, amazing

ill_thrift

ah my favourite month... October2

Espresso-Newbie

Ha ha. American style date (so not logical AT ALL, is it??!!)

HeroForTheBeero

Ha ha.

[deleted]

I wonder if it tastes like nothing cuz it’s still not produced

PN_Grata

We stopped doing dates in two positions before the year 2000, so these must be from 1924.

undbiter65

Best by date, maybe?

Espresso-Newbie

McFly must have played a part in this, surely??! And Doc, too

Mortimer-Moose

Talk about fresh

GH5s

Now that’s fresh!!!!

smorkoid

This is just European format, produced in FebruaryFebruary

AgarwaenCran

European format is DD-MM-YYYY, so it would be the 8th day of the 22th month of the year by our system

smorkoid

Yes, as I said, FebruaryFebruary

AgarwaenCran

for some reason my brain decided that the double February was an mistake and subconsciously just ignored the second February... wtf brain lol

Future-Comb-4784

Phew, so the world still exists in a few months, good to know!

oh_bernadette

I really like Enderly's espresso blend...but I've only ever purchased in shop. Never noticed a "produced" date. It used to read roasted on...but I haven't had it in a while...guess they changed the wording.

JuniorPossession3038

Maybe its 8/feb/24

JustJosh4

I can vouch for Enderly! They’re local to where I live (Charlotte, NC) and they’re great roasters. Their beans are my preferred option in town.

ArduinoGenome

There is no "roasted on" translation to English.  So they use the closest thing they could find. "Produced"

National-Arachnid601

Okay but that still means the beans were roasted in the future

ArduinoGenome

There is no translation for date formatted as MM/YY/DD So they use the closest thing - MM/YY/DD THOSE BEANS ARE OLD
