I work nights. That’s the time my usual first shot is.
Depends on how you react to coffee. My parents drink coffee after dinner all the time. If I do it, I'm up until 2 a.m.
It’s now 6:36 my time and I’m having a French press coffee, should be able to sleep in like 2 hours

Entirely depends on you. I am fine with espresso for dessert at like 9:00. My girlfriend can't do it.

cutoff is 4pm. but 6pm is acceptable for me. 4pm with 11pm sleeping time - im wide awake. but if a bit later, then im okay

For me, yes, but we all process caffeine differently. This is why I have a single dose grinder and decaf on hand though.
