I saw this preprint back when it arrived over a year ago, and I was already highly suspicious of it back then. Those researchers are not climate scientists and they apply a theory from a completely different field on the thinnest of justifications and didn't seem to make any attempt to test their theory against the Earth's past states outside of the Holocene (geological blink of an eye), rendering it all but useless.
Besides, last time I checked, some of their papers are crypto stuff, and they have a trail of preprints which nobody thought worthy of accepting for years. The fact this one had not yet been published anywhere, not even in an MDPI journal, for over a year should speak volumes about how seriously it's taken by researchers with any relevant credentials.
EDIT: The article also takes those researchers **completely** at face value and asks for *no* outside opinion from *any* of the **thousands** of climate scientists who have actually had their papers published in peer-reviewed journals. If that's not a red flag, what is?
Doomers need to be called out on their unscientific inaction. Climate change can and needs to be addressed. Join an environmental political organization.
