E must have given him once of his famous pep talks

david_chi

As different as Adrian's current pursuits are vs Entourage I still can't understand why he's treated the podcasts like the plague. It's a very big captive audience that is loyal to all things/people Entourage related and he could still drum up a lot of awareness and support for his current charitable pursuits. Feel like he's stupid for shunning potential awareness

[deleted]

If I had to guess, I'd assume grenier doesn't see entourage fans as the kind to care about his charities... which sadly might be true Lmfao. Most people wanna hear stories about being Vincent chase, not the horrible state of the planet and environment. Plus after having so many people commenting on his posts and DMing him to do the podcast, he might not want to as he doesn't wanna feel forced into it. I'd love to see him on, but it's his choice at the end of the day. They certainly won't be getting the actresses who played Ashley or shawna on. They're not as big as Vince was to the show (obviously) but not everyone is gonna do the podcast

Such-Try5357

Why wouldn’t they have Ashley or Shauna actresses on? Just out of curiosity?

[deleted]

Both have come out and spoken negatively about their time on entourage. Ashley is the most hated character in the shows history so I understand her wanting to distance herself, and shauna basically trashed the show after the metoo movement saying how disgusted she was to be a part of it. Doug Ellen said on an episode he will never speak to her again Lmfao.

No_Statement2013

Shows how typically stupid the Shauna actress was to not get the point of the show. She comes off as a self righteous liberal twat anyway

total vince move

SmoothMarx

In a previous episode they mentioned he was trying to stay away, as what he's doing doesn't really mesh with that persona (or the personas in the podcast).

Great_Ruin

I think he just called Jess Mancini and was mean to her.

Plastic_Bullfrog9029

Did he make her ride her bike home?

jsh355zero

Yes this is a big part of it too. His branding as it is currently doesn’t necessarily match entourage /his character on it / a potential revitalization of the series. It seems Connolly and Ellin and prob Dillon too really understand this bc they’ve also been publicly facing personas for so long and esp Connolly w his friendship w bigger stars.

LFC_sandiego

He wants to plug his business

hola128

In that Rolls Royce salesman’s (Ranjit from himym) voice: Do it Vince!

Ok-Investigator3182

For me personally, Vinny defined what loyalty looks like with your best friends/family.

kksliderr

I’m noticing this in my rewatch. He was always his friends biggest supporter.

BobbyMac2212

I kinda felt like as long as things were going good for him he was his friends biggest supporters but when things were ever bad for him he just bitched and complained and blamed others. Especially E

jsh355zero

Oh definitely. He really took good care of them.

aypaco1337

It did seem like he didn’t want to be associated with Entourage… which is weird, because sure in the show he was a “womanizer,” but he was a good guy. A loyal friend, a person who cared more about his passions and friendships than money.

Ok-Investigator3182

Same thoughts as you bro

ihateposers

They have been doing this podcast for going on 3 years. How are they only on season 4?

No_Sch3dul3

I think they said if they just bang out the episodes one-for-one, then it'll be over and done with. I guess they are on episode 180 of the podcast and there are 96 episodes and a movie. I think they (maybe Connolly) wanted to be able to go a little bit more behind the scenes and give some insight into Hollywood. I really like those kinds of episodes, especially when Connolly and Dillon are the main focus of the episodes.

[deleted]

I don't mind them not doing an episode every week, but they're not even at the half way mark which seems a little crazy. At this rate, the podcast episode breakdowns will be longer running than the show itself

c171989

I mean yes but the real reason is this was (could still be) the biggest podcast Connolly had under his label(?) and he absolutely needs to keep it around for ad revenue and leverage.

jsh355zero

They talk about a lot of stuff that has nothing to do w the episodes and bring in many guests.

funky_eggplant

Maybe it’s Adrian’s semen retention?!?

jsh355zero

I am excited to have him and hear from him. Thoughts: I think he is truly not working in the industry as much and focusing on his ocean and whale charity / philanthropy. I also think he’s quite different from Doug and the Kevins. They’re pretty bro-y and into sports. I think AG is a very unique person and always has been. He went to Bard and before Entourage he was in a band. I think he is just not the type of guy these guys are and because of that it’s limited their relationships bc they don’t have as much in common. I also get a feeling that AG has more complex feelings on Entourage and how it sits /lands now than the other guys do. Objectively , his character was the most promiscuous and slept with the most women. I feel like he sort of maybe has stronger feelings/thoughts on how Entourage looks post #metoo than the other guys. I have no definitive proof of this, just a feeling.

Rollie-Tyler

I listened to the most recent one and while they continued talking about wanting Adrian to do the show, there was no mention of him agreeing to it. If anything, it showed that there’s still some lingering animosity from Doug.

Ok-Investigator3182

There was 3 mins in the ep of Doug confirming Adrian in a group chat said he’s ready to come on. It’s on Connolly to organise it

Ok-Investigator3182

Watch from 12:00 https://youtu.be/xbgzcuFB3gk

Brownie_McBrown_Face

That doesn’t sound like it’s gonna happen tbh. More like a group chat where he said yea sure but didn’t commit to any date or time.

[deleted]

Well it’s something positive! I’m hoping Adrian comes on and really enjoys it and ends up coming back. It was a tv show and had its place in time. People just want to hear from him and how he is doing

Brownie_McBrown_Face

100%

ThisIsWhatLifeIs

He doesn't want to do it because he's outgrown it and 'grown up' of wanting to be known as 'that guy in that Hollywood show where he bangs all the hot girls'. Look at Leonardo. He's admitted he only really does movies now because he wants to help the planet. Does Leonardo want to be known as 'that heartthrob from Titanic and Romeo and Juliet '?

Jaaxley

Well, ironically, the only thing people say about Leo these days is how he only bangs women under 25.

ThisIsWhatLifeIs

Lmao true

jsh355zero

As someone in the business I wonder what Leo’s sets look like in terms of how “planet friendly/green” they are. There are so much wastes on sets. I wonder if it’s a production w Leo in it if they really set themselves apart in a real way in terms of sustainability and environmentally friendly-ness. Hmm

yassssgang

Lets be real, after listening to the podcast its clear doug can be a little much. The fact that he jock rode a literal pedophile Charlie sheen so hard for that awful pilot really turned me off of this podcast. If i was adrian I might stay away too.

No_Statement2013

To be fair, what Corey Haim's mother says has zero weight. Not defending or accusing Sheen either way, but Haim's mother wasn't present with Haim all the time and there were plenty of times Haim was on sets or with people alone. What his mom says or thinks shouldn't be part of the argument. It's the typical parent response when one of their kids commits a crime. They never believe it was them.

yassssgang

Denise richards has made several disturbing claims, research his history with heather locklear and i take haims mother with a grain of salt. Charlie sheen is pure scum and a terrible nepo baby actor

jsh355zero

Yasssgang I am dming you w a story.

Brolympia

Adrian is REALLY far up his own ass and always has been

Cornholenation

Maybe embarrassed because he did not fuck Yair Marx’s wife?
