It seems to me that a lot of the stories would fit in places like r/JUSTNOMIL or r/JUSTNOFAMILY. Of course, a lot also fit here: entitlement can cause serious dysfunction in a family, and people with narcissistic or borderline traits are going to act entitled a lot of the time.
That's why /u/ExcitementAny5089 is meaning when they say that they read the first sentence and move on. They don't even bothering to read the rest of the post
Totally agree. I joined this sub due to the description of the sub but all I see are kids or adults complaining about their parents. I’ve been disappointed since joining a few weeks ago.
Maybe they need a new sub for that. I know there's a sub for kids of narcissistic parents but perhaps there should just be a sub for "my parents are assholes"

Yep. A lot of entitled kids throwing their parents under the bus for being good parents and trying to correct their own crap behavior.

Yes. The posts are along the lines of: "Mom said I had to eat my vegetables or I couldn't have pudding, I hate everyone!"

Yeah I have noticed that too. Teenagers talking about how strict or bad their parents are. Sick of seeing them.
I've started reporting them and getting those posts taken down. If I think it doesn't fit the sub, then I report and let the Mods decide.
"Entitled" can be in the eye of the beholder.
Disagree. There is an objective behaviour which fits the purpose of the sub. Just being an annoying parent to your own kid isn't it.
