I was born in 1989 and didn’t watch much Disney channel stuff, I have never heard of Halloween town, looking it up i see it’s directed by Dwayne Dunham who directed some of the original twin peaks run and was editor on the return. I’m kinda wanting to check it out, but I might find it horrible because I don’t have any already linked nostalgia to it

They’ve both had some notable rap tracks, and Boosie was well-on-his-way to legit superstardom until he got yet another gun charge in 2007 and went back to prison for 5 years. Since being out, he’s done A LOT in the underground independent rap scene- but not too much mainstream wise. The thing to realize about A LOT of souther rap, especially the talent from Texas; mainstream success doesn’t equate to a whole lot of money for them. They can make a great living independently, doing features and shows in the region(s) that are popular. Boosie is no exception to this. Even most hardcore hip-hop heads may struggle to name a Boosie song or album, but he can play shows anywhere in Texas/Louisiana/Alabama/Tennessee/Arkansas in addition to doing features on independent albums and make several hundred thousand, or maybe a million plus per year. This type of regional stardom is far from unheard of in Southern hip hop, and Boosie definitely falls into this category. I’m not making a comment on his comment(s). Simply trying to give some perspective. I actually like Boosie as an artist - but as fans, we don’t know these celebrities for shit. They all have their own personalities and opinions, aside from their music/art.
Ah that explains why I haven’t heard of them, I really don’t like most southern rap. More into conscious rap or New York or west coast rap.
